Just built the computer and the sound doesn't work.

So, I have just built my computer today. Had a few hiccups, but so far so good. However, I've come to a bit of snag. I can't get the audio to work, no matter what I try.
MOBO: MSI z87-g45 gaming series
I've installed the drivers, I've double checked the plugs, but I can't get anything to come from my headphones, no matter if they're in the back or the front. Could anyone give me some help? If you need more information, I'll give it to you.

have you tried to >>Clear CMOS Guide<< with power cord removed and to load bios defaults?
have you tried to boot with barabone setup with mainboard out of pc case placed over wooden table?
Else you can flash to latest BIOS 1.7:

and to see how its goes
