Just checked RMA status

It's been updated & the problem has been diagnosed/confirmed (Headphone jack not functional)
My question is: Before a fixed Micro (or a replacement) is sent back, does Creative usually send an email/make a phone call out? Or does the Micro arri've as an unexpected, but pleasant surprise?

On my first repair, I received an e-mail letting me know they received it, then an e-mail telling me that my replacement has been shipped (2 days after the st e-mail). That was in March of 05.
For my current repair, Fedex tracking told me that my package was deli'vered on 2-0. As of 26-0, Creative says "Product Not Yet Tested." No e-mails thus far from Creative.

  • RMA Status Check Quest

    Hi guys, I've sent my defecti've zen back and I was just checking the status of this on the creative website. I get the following problem checking the status -
    "Unfortunately, a return corresponding to the RMA and telephone numbers you provided could not be located. The telephone number should match the one you provided to Creative Labs when your RMA number was originally issued".
    I'm using the correct site
    (http://uk.europe.creative.com/support/warranty/rma/rmastatus.asp)
    as i li've in the UK. Also my phone number and RMA number are correct, I still have the email I recieved from creative with the RMA number and the email I sent to creative with my phone number in it.
    Does anyone know what this means, would it just be that my return hasn't been processed yet or that there may be a problem with the phone number they have for me?

    You probably should give Customer Support a call so they can check into that for you, at least that's what I would do.

  • RMA status che

    I just checked the status of my current RMA, and it said that the status was "Hang". Does anyone know what this means, or if it is good or bad? Or if my product is going to be replaced?Thanks,?Alex

    That is the fault that they found with the unit. Not very descripti've, but it does seem to match the problem listed for listed the RMA. Hanging at the startup screens.

  • Can't check my RMA status and Register a product

    Today I tried to check my RMA status and register my new motherboard, I found out any sub websites with service.msi.com is all not able to be accessible. Is it just me or everybody?

    then
    Online Repair Progress Query
    then in Quickly Query Area
    RMA No:      (＊Required key in) < note: if there is a -E on the end leave that part out just the AA0-00000000 type data at the beginning for the number
    Barcode No: (if its being a bit awkward on giving you the information with just the RMA number this is for the Serial number of your product)

    another way is through the Main registration control panel to monitor the status of your RMA http://register.msi.com.
    Note 1: MSI uses DHL typically to ship orders back to customers on Express Delivery
    Note 2: This is a USER to User Forum and it is not our Job to check RMA's for you

    You probably should give Customer Support a call so they can check into that for you, at least that's what I would do.

    what does hang mean in RMA status check? i went to check my RMA status and under testing it said hang. what does this mean?

    In the "testing" column, it tells you the outcome of any daignostic tests they ran on your player. It usually says "not tested yet" for a day or so after the package arri'ves.
    If it says "hang," they were able to turn your player on but it froze up almost immediately. If it's a software problem, they'll wipe the hard disk and reload a working copy of the firmware. If it's a hardware problem, they'll send you a new or refurbished player of the same model and capacity as yours.

  • Trouble checking my RMA status

    I sent my 6GB Zen in for warranty repair with a preauthorized?RMA number on /9. It was recieved at Creative Stillwater on /3. I checked the status last week and it said there was no information on my RMA number. Now today the link on the Creative website doesn't work. How can I find out the status on my ZEN...

  • MB RMA Status?

    I just returned my MB because of problems I was having.  When I go to check the status of my RMA is says: "   Sales/RMA NG buffer for repair run".
    Does anybody know what this means?

    I hope so too!  It's been a long wait.  I wasted 2 weeks sending it back to Newegg for RMA.  They denied warranty coverage on it. 
    I'm really sick of using this old AMD Athlon XPM machine!  What a clunker!

  • RMA Status confus

    Okay, so I had a nice problem with my Zen about 3 weeks after I got it. It just froze one day, so i took out the battery and tried to turn it on again, but the screen just went to a pre-software type loading page that had the basic info on it...like Creative Labs 2004 etc... I called support and the guy told me to start it up in safe mode, but it never worked so i shipped it in with his receipt because it was a gift basically. so now it has been in the factory, or wherever they fix things, and the RMA status says "hang".. does anyone here know what that means. I'm not going to call the support until the 5 day period passes..it's been like 2 days at this point.

    You can get job information by <b>calling function "BP_JOB_READ".</b> If you pass the value btc_read_jobhead_only defined in LBTCHDEF, it will only return the
    job header info into the export parameter JOB_READ_JOBHEAD. The job status
    is set in JOB_READ_JOBHEAD-STATUS.
    Alternatively, <b>you can just lookup table TBTCO</b>, the status is in
    TBTCO-STATUS.
    The values in STATUS are defined in LBTCHDEF as follows;

    there's none. If there is, that will defeat the purpose of including the 'invisible' status option.  Of course, you can check if a user is offline or just invisble by sending them a short message.  if the message go through, then that means that they are not offline, just at invisible status (probably you already know this method).

    Hi,
    This message is not a issue in itself. It is just a SAP message which means that the system is checking/updating the system tables to carry out the operation whether it can be done or not.
    If your loads are failing at this step or after this message there can be many reasons, check some of  the possible reasons below
    Performing check and potential update for status control table
    Update from PSA error in Process Chain
    problem in deleting request
    Reporting not available ,even if Data is sucessfully loaded into DT
