Just connected to AT&T Uverse internet. iPhone can print to the Officejet 6500A but my MacPro can't
I just started with AT&T Uverse internet, My HP Officejet 6500A-710n says that it is wireless. My iPhone can find it an print to it, but my MacPro says that the printer is offline.
I tried restarting everything. That did not work.
I uninstalled the HP software from my Mac, but when I go to reinstall, it again says that it cannot find the printer.
Any ideas?
First,
Please try reconnecting your Mac into the network, in order to verify it is connected to the correct network.
Additionally, please clarify your Mac OS version and how you trying to install the software.
If your are using the included Disk, verify it is intended for your Mac OS version. It should be listed on the CD.
If you downloaded the installation from HP site, clarify the full filename, in order ot verify it is the correct one.

The WiFi button is not greyed out or dimmed but the phone won't pick up or connect toany of the networks I have previously been connected to. I have updated to iOS 7, reset the network settings but no luck. Any suggestions?
If it's grayed out:
Reset Network Settings - if that doesn't fix it, then Backup and Restore AS A NEW DEVICE.
If it's still grayed out, unfortunately that means your Wi-Fi antenna quit, and it needs service. -
My IBooks will not sync PDF content with my IPhone. It syncs the collection title but no content. Both devices are set to sync collections? Any ideas how to fix this?
The 'sync collections' setting does not copy books or PDFs between devices - all it does is if you have the book on both devices and you move it into a collection on one of them, then it will be put into the same collection on the other device.
You will need to sync each PDF that you want on your phone. If you don't currently have them on your computer then connect your iPad to your computer's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases to copy them over (that should copy PDFs and/or epubs that are in the iBooks app, not just actual ibooks), and if using a Mac with Mavericks on it do File > Move Books From iTunes in the iBooks app on it, and you can then sync them to your iPhone. -
When away from my home, I need to utilize iPhone Hotspot (AT&T). I can access RoadRunner Webmail and download to my iPhone with or without the hotspot. But, if I wish to use the Iphone Hotspot to download email via the Apple mail program on my laptop, I get an error message indicating: "The sender address [username redacted]@twcny.rr.com was rejected by the server smtp-server.twcny.rr.com" but I am able to access internet sites. Anyone run into this issue? Any fixes? Thankx

Quit Safari, find the com.apple.Safari.plist file in your Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences Folder, drag it to the Desktop, log out/in or restart and let us know what happens.

I just download and install itunes 10.5 and it worked good the first days but since yesterday it crashed up, and everytime i start it it crashes again and logged me out each time. it can´t acces my itunes account. I´m using snow leopard the last version. What can i do to solve this problem and and continue using my itunes normally?
Try doing it in a WIndows Safe mode - Restart computer and hit F8 key right after your see BIOS check and choose "Safe mode with networking"
Do the SFC /SCANNOW again.
If that does not work, whilst in safe mode, download Free Malwarebyte software from CNET's Download.com. Install, update virus definition then perform a full scan. Remove if it did find some viruses or trojans. Restart computer.
Back to regular windows, do the SFC /SCANNOW again.
If that doesnot work, check to see if your Hard drive has errors or bad sectors
GO START BUTTON /COMPUTER, right mouse click OS (C:) and choose "Properties"
Choose "Tools" tab and under error checking, click "Check Now".
Make sure "Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors" is checked and click start.
Restart windows will perform the above task to fix errors This may take hours depends on how big is your Hard Drive

Do your images show, if you disable the option "Do not import duplicates"? If yes, then check, if the images have already been imported, eg. using Photo Stream, if you are using Aperture 3.3 or later.

I have a new HP Officejet 6500A plus. I cannot get it to connect to my Airport Extreme V5.6. It see the wifi signal but Fails on "Filtering" and possibly the channel. Does anyone know how to reset or reconfigure filtering and channel on the old airports?
This is a part of the larger MacBook Pro connectivity issue. There are several related threads dealing with the MBP's networking problems. If your unit is suffering from this type of difficulty, good luck ... (or a long ethernet cable)

Hello again and sorry to bother you. I was hoping you could help me with iTunes 10.5. This update has been a pain. When I first installed it, my entire library was gone. Luckily, I saved the "iTunes Library" file before updating and copied it in place and my library appeared. But now the problem I'm having is that the iTunes can't find any of the "original" files, even though my iTunes Media file location has not changed (it's on an external network drive". When I click on the "Do you want to find the original file" I can find it in the appropriate folder. I checked the "Preferences" and under "Advanced" I re-mapped it to the appropriate location and already had the 2 boxes for iTunes organizing files checked. Then went to "File" and "Organize Library" and clicked the first check box and then got the "Copying Files" bar. When this was completed, I thought it would be able to find the original files. But I'm still getting the same error message about not being able to find the "original" files. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks again for your help.

I dropped my iphone 4 and it shut off and when i tried to cut it on it wouldnt. so i connected it to a power source and it tunred on but stay stucked on the apple logo. so when i discounted it shut off. it only turns on when connected to a power source but not on its own. i tired to connect it to itunes no help, i tried to press the home and power button still no help.
Your last try would be a restore if you can get iTunes to recognize the phone. If not, you have probably damaged the device beyond repair. You can go to see Apple about an out of warranty replacement. The cost for the iPhone 4 is $149US, you can check for your location.
