HELP my mac book pros screen has a major crack. Is there anything to other then send it in for a new screen? and how much would that cost?

FYI ... just checked the "personal articles" policy I bought on my MBP.
The only stated exclusions, in the policy booklet, are:
Nuclear or conventional war
Seizure for quarantine/governmentauthority/illiegaltransport
Wearandtear/"inherent vice"
Vermin or insects
Since you gave us no details as to a possible cause of the crack, I will not guess.
I hope this sheds *some* light on "personal articles" policies.

When you fail to give information on the exact model MBP that you have, how do you expect anyone to provide you with any specific information?
I suggest that you go to the iFixit.com and Powerbookmedic.com and look for parts and prices. That naturally assumes that you know what parts are defective and need to be replaced.

you can either take it to Apple or any Apple Authorized repair center and have them give you an estimate.
Or you can go HERE and pick the part you need replaced and have an Apple repair shop change it for you.
If you're Macbook Pro has a valid warranty - i suggest you take it to Apple, spend the $$$ to get it fixed so that it won't interfere with your warranty.

First if your iPod is 8gb it is not a 3g. It's probably a 2g.
Apple will replace your iPod for $99. This is a complete replacement not a repair. This won't be done at an Apple store.

"Abuse" includes dropping it. If it's not a manufacturing fault: These prices are roughly the same in other coutries to the US.

Apple at this time does not repair iPods, but assuming that that iPod is not in multiple pieces will replace the entire iPod for a flat fee; see the Repair Pricing section here:

There are independent iPod repair services that may be able to perform a repair for less. Do a web search for "ipod repair". It is also possible to purchase parts and find instructions on doing a repair yourself, though it's not particularly easy. Note, though, that if you elect to have the iPod serviced by an unauthorized shop or perform a repair yourself, all further support from Apple will be void.

Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for this price. Price depends upon model and capacity. They do not fix yours.
