Why is Lion server advance admin guide show up in the osx server resource page instead of that of osx server's?

Just have a question that "What is the correct Page Width for Mobile Device???"
Is the Default 380px width is right? or 320px?
Because the average smartphone is having resolution is 320X480 pixels...
also in this video http://tv.adobe.com/watch/muse-feature-tour/adobe-muse-designing-for-mobile-devices/ Dani Beaumont created the Mobile version website in 320px width (If you watch the video carefully you can notice the page width is 320px)
And if the default page width 380px taken, will it be displayed correctly on every smart phone (average & high end)?

HI. I have designed a mobile web site that is currently 450pixels wide. This is the first one I have done. When it displays on some mobile phones, the width of the entire page is scaled down and it only fills about 1/2 of the width of the mobile phone with a whole pile of mrgin to the right. Is this because I should have designed it to be 380 pixes wide or have I done something else wrong. The test site is at:

I have been trying to log onto the Wounded Warriors Program Portal. I can Log in and then when I click on the rewards it tried to go to the page the just takes me back to the same page I was on. This is very frustrating.

Both Mail and Safari have Activity Options that open a screen that shows you just how the site or mail is loading.
In Safari if you are having trouble with a site in activity you will see the count of items being downloaded - and if an error occurs it shows red.
On the top is the number of items it is loading or trying to load and the count should be increasing. If the count stops, and you don't have errors it may be that too many people are going after the same site and your request just timed out. Have had the time out on a news site when trying to load a most popular article.

To prevent Safari opening your last closed pages again you can do one of three things.
1. Close the pages before closing Safari (eg. open homepage before closing Safari)
2. Hold Shift while opening Safari (this will start Safari from homepage)
3. Browse in 'Private Browsing'.

The internet pages don't display properly I'm using osx10.3.3, yahoo for example asks me to update, but I cant find out how to as the apple store just keeps sending back to the same page with no down load option...do i need to up date or is it just my mac

What Mac model do you have? You might be able to upgrade the OS to Tiger 10.4 or Leopard 10.5.
Even browsers for Tiger 10.4 will get the update message.
You could try a newer browser than Safari, which is obsolete, by downloading Firefox v2.0.0.20 at http://www.oldapps.com/mac/firefox.php

What's the next page for j_security_check?

I am using j_security_check servlet to set up Form authentication for my simple web app in WebSphere 5.1.
The web app is simple, and only contains login.jsp and error.jsp. I also include a servlet in this web app and it's a protected resource.
Currently, j_security_check works well. If I simply typed the servlet url in IE, I will be redirected to the login.jsp. After I fill in the username and password. I was redireced to the servlet. (by checking the server log).
However, I am still not understing how j_security_check works. Because if I simply typed the url for login.jsp, and then fill in the username and password, I got http 404 error.
I can understand it because I didn't tell j_security_check what the next page should go after successfully login. I am just wondering where should I set the next page, in web.xml or anywhere else?

On server you declare in web.xml what pages are under password protection.
You also declare login and login-error page in web.xml
After you send request for pages in password area, server sends login page and after succesfull validation you are redirected to requested page.

Firefox will open 4 or 5 tabs fine, but then will not load any further websites after those first 4 or 5, or allow you to refresh one of those first tabs -- including about:config and the addon page

Firefox 5 worked fine. I installed Firefox 7, and when I ran it, tabs would just say "connecting to..." and hang. Restarting did not help. Websites open fine in IE and Chrome. Disabled all firewalls and antivirus, did not help. Uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox 5, everything worked fine again. This was using Vista 64-bit.
Upgraded to Windows 7, uninstalled Firefox 5, installed Firefox 7, had same problem. Uninstalled Firefox 7 completely (including the profile information, I saved that information in another folder), restarted computer, and installed Firefox 7 using a completely clean profile. Did not install any add-ons, checked to make sure all plug-ins were up-to-date, and updated plugins.
Now when I start Firefox, I can load 3 or 4 or 5 tabs fine -- after those first few tabs are open, I cannot open or refresh any other tabs -- including about:config and the add-on manager -- I have to restart Firefox. The hangup doesn't appear to be related to what websites I am attempting to open, but it looks like the number is the problem. I have run through all of the FAQ procedures, including changing the max number of network connections to 48, and the problem does not seem to go away.
As a side note, I had this same problem when I tried to go from version 5 to version 6 as well. Version 5 is the most recent version that worked on my system.

What is the "Live" page and need help in data merge

Im very new to indesign so bare with me. Im trying to data merge (Need to create a merge template?) and from what I understand is that I need it to be on the "Live" page. Someone on the forum suggested this.....
There are two ways to set up the merge template. You can put your placholders on the master page or on the live page. If the placehlders are on the master page, only the frame(s) with the placeholders, along with any other grouped objects, will be duplicated. On the live page, ID will try to duplictate EVERYTHING on the page, so you must be very careful about the setup and sizing of objects.
I would like to be on the LIVE page...how do I do this? I got everything else sorted but cannot get multiple records for the life of me to come up.

Thanks for all your help, Peter. I will do the step and repeat method like you said. I dont know why I cant get this camera for the images to work but I did what you said with Word paint after capturing the page using the keyboard. Unfortunately I cant copy and paste the indesign screen to this page.

What is the resource control corresponding to each kernel parameter

I am trying to prepare (i.e. tune) a Solaris 10 instance for an Oracle 10g install using a Solaris 10 project.
I am new to using Solaris 10 project resource controls so I might get some of this totally wrong.
I know all of the "old" kernel parameter names: what each represents and its' required value and I know some of the corresponding resource controls but not all of them.
That is I do not know the resource control corresponding to each and all of the kernel parameters.
e.g. I know:
semsys:seminfo_semmsl == process.max-sem-nsems == The maximum number of sempahores that can be in one semaphore set
shmsys:shminfo_shmmax == project.max-shm-memory == The maximum size(in bytes) of a single shared memory segment
shmsys:shminfo_shmmni == project.max-shm-ids == The number of shared memory identifiers
But I do not know, for example, what resource control corresponds to:
semsys:seminfo_semmns == The number of semaphores in the system
Is there a list somewhere of the resource control corresponding to each of the kernel parameters ?
I know I can set some kernel parameters in /etc/system but that should only be used for system - wide kernel parameters, right ?
I know there are project, process, task and zone classes of resource controls.
Can a resource control of any and all of these types be set in a project ?
Are zone resource controls equivalent to system-wide resource controls ?
Are there corresponding resource controls to all kernel parameters e.g. such as noexec_user_stack ?
I have set noexec_user_stack in /etc/system.
And finally - just to be sure - using a project makes the resource control values permanent, right ?

I read and read and have not found any reference....what does it mean when the column next to the Blue circle on the left side of the Discussions Question ...the one with the Green Answered Star or ? with a Green ball or ? - is empty with nothing in it....What does that mean when it is empty?

When it is empty, it means it is not a Question. A statment/annoucment i suppose. Also there are no helpful and solved .

When I click on a link within a Web page, Firefox just spins until I reload the new page.

When I enter a new URL or select a bookmark, Firefox loads the page promptly. When I click on a link within that page to go to another page, the Firefox tab green spinner often just spins and spins. It either takes a very long time to load (2 or more minutes), or never finishes loading. It's usually a greater problem when I "Open a link in a new tab". I can usually make the new page appear by reloading, either clicking the red X and the circular arrow, or Ctrl-F5, etc.

Try the Firefox SafeMode to see how it works there. <br />

If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. <br />

In IWeb '09 Sidebar what do the different page colors and symbols refer to?

Under my two websites I've designed in IWeb I see each of the different tabs/pages are represented by different symbols. For example my first site is one page long and its symbol is a red page with a key on it and I think a cloud. Can you tell me what each of these represent?
In my other website with multiple pages they are all blue. One tab has a Q on it (possibly for Quicktime?) and another page has a person on it. Can you tell me what these mean?
Is there a place that provides a key of all these symbols?

It the site folder has a cloud on it that means it's being published to a MobileMe account. It the site folder is plain then it's being published to somewhere else, either a commercial server or a folder on your HD.
The page with a Q on it is a movie layout page. The only other page with a symbol that I've come across is the blog page, and "a" on the page icon.
If a page is red it means there have been changes made that haven't been added to the site. A blue item means the published item is up to date.

Just curious about best way to install

I'm just curious as to which way it would be best to install this new OS? Clean or just upgrade it with the earlier version on the disk? Is there any difference between the two (I mean after the install, not in the actual process of installing it)? Thanks in advance.

There is no "clean install" option on the SL install disc. Just back your drive up and run the installer.
