Just downlaoded itunes 8 and having a problem

Hi,
When I click on the iTunes icon I get a message "The folder "iTunes" cannot be found or created and is required. The default location for this folider is inside the "My Music" folder".
I have tried running repair and have downloaded deleted and downloaded numerous copies of Itunes.
Any help greatly appreciated.

In the past I had a problem similar to this and the way I solved it was by just creating a folder named iTunes. Then I opened iTunes while holding I believe it was the control button or it might have been the option button. iTunes then prompted me to choose or create a library and I just choose to choose a library. Then it gave me a map of my hard drive which I just directed iTunes to the folder named "iTunes" that I had created previously.

We have just purchased Apple TV and can't connect to Home Sharing. We have wifi, the iPad is updated. I can't find the link on ITunes on the iPad that the tv is telling me to click. I've also tried turning it on via settings then music which seems to be connected. I can view YouTube clicks on the tv, but not an app so I can watch the footy. What am I doing wrong.

Make sure your Apple TV is on the same network as your iPad. The SSID and password of router must be set in your Apple TV.

You will always find somebody else having a problem they think is the same, but is it really? Then too, do you want people saying, "Yes, I have the same problem what do I do?" but no answers. Furthermore if this was a major issue there would be tens of thousands of posts here about this rather than one or two per month.
Did you do a backup of your computer before installing new software as is always a good idea?

Yes, it will use cellular data. If you know that you are going to out of wifi range, you can predownload some music whilst you have a wifi connection.

Go to Settings > General > Usage, select Music, then Edit. There will be a delete option there. It may take a few minutes to delete if you have a large collection on your iPhone.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Source list, and then click Restore.

Thank you for your question. It sounds like you are unable to see either of your devices in the sidebar of iTunes after a recent update. A number of issues could cause this type of behaviour, and would recommend starting with the troubleshooting from the article named:

Just bought Ipod nano and having problems downloading the itunes

Wondering if someone can help me. I'm trying to download the itunes and have spent the last 3 hours trying to download. It just won't work and i am so fedup i wish i hadn't bought the nano.

Have you gone to: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ and if that doesn't work you could always go to the closest Apple Store they will make you a disk (for free) if you ask them for it.

Just upgraded to Leopard and having general mail problems...

Hi all. Thanks for any help you can give me in advance.
I'm having multiple problems and I hope you guys can help. Has anyone had any general reliability issues? I understand that mail often can flicker or hang up, and restarting the program can be necessary. No big deal. But since I've upgraded, it happens constantly. I run multiple accounts, from multiple providers, and they are all having trouble. So I don't feel it is my provider. I'll list a couple problems to provide some examples.
1) When I start Mail, a pop up comes up to make me verify each account server. I feel like I'm in Windows Vista with endless pop-up-warnings.
2) More often than it used to with 10.4, when sending, the SMTP server will hiccup and I'll get the "try again later" warning. And I have to restart Mail to get it to send. This happens at least 10 times a day.
3) Large attachments, 5 to 10 megs, often won't send if they don't get uploaded fast enough. My company doesn't have the fastest internet, and it can take time. This wasn't a problem with 10.4.
Those are the biggies. Seems like it is just general unreliability. I have multiple accounts with multiple providers, so I'm led to believe that the problem is with Mail, not my providers.

I ran in to similar problems when I upgrade my wife's iMac to Leopard. The easiest way I found after about three hours of trying to solve the issue is to just download and reinstall iTunes. that whole process took ten minutes and iTunes is working as it should.
