Just downloaded ios 7.0.4 for my iphone4 and backed up before doing so. Now that it's been updated and restored I keep being asked to setup my iphone. When I select restore from itunes I keep getting stuck on setup iPhone. Cant get back in phone!
I backed up the phone and updated to ios 7.0.4 which took about 2 hours. Now the phone powers on and says hello in different lagnuages and says to slide to setup. I am asked to choose a network and then if I want to setup as a new iphone, restore from icloud or restore from itunes backup. When I select restore from itunes the screen says "connected to itunes". In itunes I select restore from backup however after a few seconds itunes says that it cannot restore beause there is not enough free space on the iphone. During this attempt to restore I see the home screen and my screen saver and everything for a split second, then the phone powers off.
I see in itunes that all of my photos and data are still on the phone however I cannot get into the iphone.
Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPhone?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).
No data will be lost.

If AT&T e-mail says it is unlocked, then believe it is so. Insert non-AT&T SIM inside and after backing up restore in iTunes again. Unlock gets attached.
You can check the status of the unlock request on AT&T web-site. -

Are you saying that you contacted Apple support and they instructed you to backup and restore your iPad? Or do you mean that you picked up this information from an online support article? If you spoke to an Apple rep or received these instructions via email, contact them again for further help.
I fail to see how restoring your iPad would enable yoyr Apple ID. -

I just downloaded a bunch of music for a friend to my itunes and now want it off my mac. It's in "recently added". I've tried to hightlight it and hit delete and I've tried dragging it to trash, but they just bounce back. How do I get rid of it?
To delete from the Recently Added playlist and also from your library, select the items in the Recently added playlist and press Option Delete on your keyboard.
Select Move to trash.
Option Delete will remove an item from the library, even if it's in a smart playlist, thus removing it from any playlist. -
Updating to IOS7 caused all files on iPad to disappear and restore from iTunes does not work
I recently updated my iPad to IOS7. Before doing so, I backed up the contents to iTunes. After completing the update, I found that the iPad has been completely cleared out of all files. .It is now completely empty and prompts for a new setup when I turn it on.
So naturally I tried to restore from iTunes. However, although the restore process appears to have completed, nothing changes at all on the iPad. It remains a blank slate.
Can someone please advise how I can recover my files? There are a lot of important photos I want to preserve. Perhaps I am missing some obvious step.

Alright. I updated it last night and it said i needed to go to itunes to restore it when I attempted to turn it on. I didn't have it installed so i just went to bed. Today, I have downloaded Itunes several times, moved usb cords, restarted my computers and NOTHING! Error 1 every time. Just downloaded IOS 4.3.4 for IPod touch 4G. and can't install it to it.
Well, the Download failed several times via iTunes, so I have downloaded it from another source of the Internet. How can I get it on my iPod touch 4g?
Put the downloaded .ipsw file in the <user/library/iTunes/iPod Software Update/> folder.
then start iTunes, connect the iPod, and click the iPod in the left navigation panel, Alt-Click on the "Restore" button. Go to the folder where you placed this file and "choose" it. (When you just click Restore it will work also, but with Alt-Click you are sure to have the new file!).

Has anyone ever received a proper response to the dreded itunes 5103 error after downloading a rented movie on iTunes? What's even worse is that I now can't delete them. They just show back up when I check for downloads. This has been going on now for over a month. Any help is greatly appreciated.

It will be available for the iPad 2 and iPhone 4, assuming you are referring to the 4th Generation iPod Touch, no it will not be available.

Most large HDDs require an outboard power source.
When you delete songs from iTunes you will get a message if you want to send it to trash. If you send it to trash, space will be freed up only when you empty trash. An individual song does not consume much space so if your HDD is becoming full, more drastic action s should be considered, such as moving an entire file to an external HDD.

I am not sure whether the music will get restored.
Anyway try this
1.Connect iPhone to PC.
2.Open iTunes
3.Open iPhone Summary
4.Go to Apps Tab
5.Under File Sharing Section Click on Music Downloader
6.Right side if you see your songs click on one song and press (CTRL + A).(hope you are using windows) and click on save and then save to a folder on your computer.
7. Later just do steps till 5 to put to new iPhone then ...........
8.Click on save and select the music files which u want to put in that app.
9.Click on apply to sync.
10.You should be having the music in that app
