I have Just downloaded the RAW plug in 6.7 for My D800;
follwed the instructions but dont get pictures in Bridge - just NE icons and CS5 wont open/recognize them still.
Any ideas please?

Can't open the Raw plug in

I have a Nikon D40x, a Mac G5 and Elements 4.0.1. I have just downloaded the Raw plug in 4.3 and Elements is saying it doesn't recognise this type of file. Please help as I can't open any of my shots in camera RAW or NEF only JPEG!

You don't "open" the Camera Raw plug-in. You install it in the exact location specified on the ACR download page. Those are VERY detailed instructions there, follow them to the letter.

HT201071 I just downloaded the Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 5.01 to a brand new Aperture program and it WON'T install because it's not recognizing my NEW aperture program.

I have the latest software and operating systems (Aperture, and OSX 10.9.1), and just downloaded the RAW update that Apple said to download, only to have my installation quit because it's saying I do NOT have the right Aperture program (I have the latest....just bought it yesterday). All fixed!!! My Aperture wasn't being recognized because it was in a folder. OK, now I can use my camera with Aperture.

Does that shortcut work?
If so, delete the current shortcut that is in the Quick Start tray and drag the one that is in Start > Programs down there.

I have installed new windows 7 and i was not having pdf viewer. I just downloaded the latest adobe acrobat reader DC for the adobe site and installed in my PC. Thing is, am able to open some of the PDF files (word document that is converted into PDF). But scanned images for example photo or mark sheets that are converted into PDF, am getting this error message.
I tired almost everything.
1) un-installed and installed again.
2) installed previous version of adobe
3) unchecked the "Enable, protection mode during startup"
4) tried setting zero for "bproectmode" in the regedit (key_host_local_machine->adobe->dc> Dword with value 0)
5) created new administrator account, and even there, i got the same error message.
6) tried repair installation said by Sukrit...
But nothing fixed my issue
Please someone help me in fixing this issue.

The D610 didn't get out-of-the-box RAW support until Photoshop CC.
You can either upgrade to CC or use the DNG Converter to convert and open your DNGs in CS5.

I was working through the troubleshooter - looks like there is no driver for the nano.

The answer was click View > Show sidebar. Devices and playlists will display in the left sidebar once again.

D7100 requires ACR 7.4 so that is not possible with Photoshop CS4.
Once again I recommend looking into the free DNG Converter.

It says SEDG 720X480 2:1 Mono. Video came from Sd memory card taken with a Samsung Video Camera.
Strangely enough, as a FourCC, SEDG is defined as "MPEG-4 hardware and software codec used in Samsung digital video products." Not a Windows or Samsung camcorder user but THIS WEB PAGE may be of some assistance.
Also I will need to view a CD recorded by the same camera (DVD-RW) file extensions are VIDEO_RM.BUP
VIDEO_TS.IFO, VIDEO_TS.VOB, SAMSUNG.IFO So far these files don't open even with Windows Media.
I don't know what to do to be able to open up these files save them on my Hard drive and then be able to upload them to YouTube. Any Ideas?
IFO files tell how the video content is segmented and where the video data is located. BUP files contain back-up IFO information. VOB files contain actual multipled audio/video data. A DVD formatted to play in a commercial DVD player normally contains a series of files named "VTS##_#.VOB" where ## refers to the "title" series and "_#" (where # is not a zero) refers to the order in which the video title file data is played.
Again, I am neither a Windows user nor an athority on Samsung VIDEO_RM folder structures. However, if your disc contains both a VIDEO_RM and VIDEO_TS folder, then I would normally assume the VIDEO_RM folder is present for legacy purposes and/or to provide information about the refording device while the VIDEO_TS folder actually contains the video object (VOB) file data. In any case, as I am not familiar with what software is available for muxed MPEG-2/AC3 editing/conversion on a Windows platform, I would try viewing the VOB files in an application like MPEG Streamclip (free). If you can play the Audio and video content (be sure to read the MPEG Streamclip requirements regarding codec installation), then you can edit (merge and/or trim) the raw data and convert it to a format compatible for YouTube uploading. (I.e., MPEG Streamclip is commonly used on the Mac for this type of work flow and the app is also available for Windows use.)
