Just entering the site name doesn't work anymore in Safari

Before I upgraded to Leopard I was always able to just enter something like "cnn" into the URL field and Safari and Firefox would take me to that website. Now if I do that both browsers take me to a search page, my ISPs search page. Now I'm not sure if it's something with the new OS and I can change a setting or if it has something to do with Time Capsule. I added that to my network around the same time so I can't know for sure which it is. Does anyone know what's going on?

This happens to me and it's very annoying. I don't know why, but it doesn't happen every single time. I'd say only 5% of the time I'm able to type in the site name and hit enter without an error popping up.
This was one of the things I loved about using Mac over Windows.

Last night I had an update from my Apple TV. After I updated it, the home sharing doesn't work anymore on any device. Not on my iPhone, iTunes, iPad, nothing. I double checked every setting and this isn't the problem. I have the newest version of iTunes. Please help!

The indicator light doesn't work anymore

I have a older Apple TV and the indicator light doesn't work anymore. It flashes yellow when it's plugged in then nothing afterwards. It used to be green. It also doesn't want to update from iTunes anymore either

I get the same thing, but I'm concerned about mine since it doesn't sleep always when the lid is closed. It then starts to get really hot if I have it in my backpack when its closed but not sleeping.
Does anyone know what could be wrong? I'm new to Apple Laptops.

i made a "playlist" and did some aac-version, because i need the songs for different length of time. but some of this songs i need the same way (i teaching aqua gym lessons). and earlier i could made a copy and past and it worked. but now, nothing worked! everytime something is different.

ok i have done my site using java studio creator , everything works fine on my computer and other also can enter the site using direct ip. now the problem is a have a media component that access directly to the file , however i can listen to music through my computer brower but when my friend hit the site and click the music , it does't even load why is that happening i can't figure it out.

SYNCING PROBLEM 1309 IN A MAC, Ive tried everything on the site it doesn't work.

Ipod Nano 6th generation:
Ive had this product for a little over a year (it was a gift for christmas 2010) ive taken care of it really well and it has been used properly without problems until november 2011. I restored it but the issue continues to persist Ive been able only to add about 250 songs when I used to have over 2,000. The pop up warning continues to appear so I cant add any more songs to my ipod. Im trying to find a solution to this problem, Ive tried doing many of the things on the site but they dont work, I dont believe apple has placed really good answers just dumb solutions, that dont work.
Before anyone says anything on to updating. EVERYTHING IS UP TO DATE. I use Lion on my macbook and my iphone 4 s didnt have any problems in syncing music.
I dont go to the mac stores because I live in El Salvador and I dont trust those technitians, I believe theyll over charge me, so I prefer solving the problem myself.

The back button doesn't work anymore

I have updated my firefox and since then the back button doens't work anymore and also the browser is slowly... The earlier version of firefox was better!

With new update the script subMSO doesn't work anymore.

I have a problem... In my folios (interactive comics) i have nested MSO.. MSO (1) with another MSO (2) in it and again in MSO (2) there is another MSO (3) and so on...

All work fine with previews release on dps desktop tool and content viewer 23 24.
But with new update the button inside Sub-MSOs doesn't work.

IWeb blog, photo albums requires us to enter the site name on every entry?

Every iWeb blog entry gets a heading of something like "My Site" or "Tom's Photography." This means we have to retype the name of our site +in addition to+ the actual title of every blog post.
Does this not seem annoyingly tedious to anyone else? Did the iWeb team really screw this up, or am I missing a setting somewhere? This also happens on photo album pages; the page for every new album dragged in from iPhoto or Aperture gets a generic title of "Tom's Photography" or something. Pretty annoying. Can anyone helps?

that's cool and everything, but someday when I have hundreds of posts and I want to change the title on the top, I will have to manually change each one. For some reason I think Apple would have thought of this. It seems like a no-brainer...?

ITunes 9.0 toolbar in the Windows Taskbar doesn't work anymore

Anyone else having this problem? The iTunes window disappears and the usual toolbar interface shows on the taskbar but the controls have no functionality. You click them and nothing happens - you can't even get the normal iTunes window back unless you have the system tray icon on. Worked before with iTunes 8 and it seems to be a problem all versions of Windows. I've tried it on XP, Vista and 7 and they all had the same problem.

This can happen if the iTunes COM interface is not registered. To fix this, follow these steps
1. Quit iTunes.
2. Navigate to where iTunes.exe resides on the hard disk:
\Program Files\iTunes
or
\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
3. Right-click in the Address field at the top of the Windows Explorer window and choose Copy Address.
4. From the Windows Start menu, type cmd in the Search field and press Enter.
XP users will need to choose Run... from the Start menu, type cmd and press Enter
5. Type cd followed by a space (but don't press Enter)
6. Right-click in the window and choose Paste.
7. Press Enter.
8. Type this:
iTunes.exe /regserver
9. Press enter.
10. Open iTunes.
Does this fix it?

The vibration function doesn't work anymore, why?

My iPhone won't vibrate anymore and I can't figure out why! It just stopped vibrating one day and I can't seem to figure out what went wrong. Anyone have any ideas how I can get it to work again or is it just fried? Do I need to take it in to get serviced or do I just need to get it replaced?

So when you toggle the ringer/silent switch(shows a red dot when silent) on the left side of the iPhone it does not vibrate?
Try resetting or restoring the iPhone.

Satellite P10, internal keyboard: The pipe key doesn't work anymore

Hello everybody!
I have a Satellite P10 with WinXP(SP1) for ca. 1 year.
Symptoms: It's about the internal keyboard. I've used the pipe key <|> indeed not everyday, but it worked. And suddenly I see that it's not doing anymore: it's "dead", whereas all other keys are working properly...
My following steps:
1) I've deinstalled the standard keyboard driver (101/102 keys) or Microsoft Natural Keyboard (PS/2), and it was successfully found after Windows starting up. There is no hardware conflict according to the Device Manager or System Information, the driver is running properly...
2) The keyboard layout is German. But I've tested already the English (US) one too: the result is the same.
Questions:
1) Is the key physically damaged?
2) If not, what can I do to fix the problem? Where can I get maybe a newer driver?

If you can not use the button at all I assume that the button is defective. It is not known to me that driver update can has influence on just several buttons.
If the unit is about 1 year old the warranty is still valid. You can contact service partner and let them exchange the keyboard.

When I click on a link, the BACK button doesn't work anymore in Windows 7. I've tried multiple settings, even TabMixPlus, but no luck. Why doesn't it keep track of pages so I can go back to where I started?

In your caes (having dropped the iDevice) it looks like a Visit to an Apple Store or AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) is required... Be sure to make an appointment first...
