Just found out about 45 day return policy

Hello I'm a elite status rewards member and I rarely return anything. I just learned about the 45 day return policy. I want to exchange a Nintendo 3ds xl I bought for a Ps Vita. Bad thing is I found out about the 45 day policy today and my 45 day mark was 3 days ago is there any chance I can still exchange this. I still have my receipt and every thing it came with.

I also located your purchase of the 3DS XL and saw that it was originally made on May 21, 2015. This would make today the 78th day after purchase. No. You can turn your 6G Nano in to be recycled at your local Apple Store for a 10% discount towards the purchase of a new one. Otherwise, your only other option would be to sell the iPod on Craigslist or eBay and use the proceeds from the sale towards the purchase of the new 7G nano.

Bought an Xbox One yesterday, but just found out about an upcoming promotion.

Apparently the promotion is limited in time (from 1pm-4pm), so I'm a little wary about if there will be anything that you could do for me.
I'm assuming it might be possible to go to the store a return my (online) order there, and rebuy it at the store to qualify for the promotion, but because it was an online order, can they resell me the online stock item right then and there? That's assuming I have the console by then since it just shipped out today.
Another problem I had was that I qualified for 10% cashback with my Discover Card by shopping through Shop Discover (5% + 5% Seasonal for all online shopping) - if I were to return it, I wouldn't qualify for that anymore.
The main reason for the card and console being on the same receipt is that if they were on seperate, returns would be an issue. If that's the case, would it be possible to issue me the 12 month XBL code after my return period on my Xbox One is up (2 weeks)? That would seemingly solve my delemia.
The last thing that I forgot to mention was that the console I ordered was the limited edition Sunset Overdrive Bundle - which is in high demand and sold out nearly everywhere. If I didn't order it when I did, I probably wouldn't have gotten it.

I just found out about the switch from Elements to Adobe Revel. HELP

I do not want to spend any money on something I rarely use. I also do not want to grant "rights" to any person or corporation for my family pictures.

Hi. There is not a switch from Elements. The switch is from Photoshop.com to Revel. Elements will work as it always did with the exception of communicating with Photoshop.com sharing and storage since that service is being discontinued.
In additon, Revel is free as long as you don't want to upload more than 50 files a month.
Check out these FAQ's and try Revel. After that, if you do not want your account, we can delete it.

So I just found out about BlueTooth PAN and I am not clear on what it does?

So I have my iPhone and MacBook Air and on my MacBook Air I selected the Bluetooth PAN network option in the network tab of the system preferences menu, and hit setup new device and selected my iPhone, now when I hit connect in the Bluetooth PAN menu it immediately comes up with a notification (I am running OS X Mavericks btw if that makes a difference) which says "Network Unavailable" make sure network access is enabled. Where does it want me to enable it!!! is it on my iPhone or my mac???? PLEASE HELP!! I know I cannot be the only Mac user to have ever seen this and be curious, somebody must have a solution, also btw my iPhone is a iPhone 4 running iOS 7 if that makes a difference...

After contacting Apple, I received a reply from their engineers:
Copy QTMovieWin.dll from: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
to: C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
And that did the trick.

Carphone Warehouse doesn't allow 14 days return policy

Just brought a iPhone this Monday, and then the iPhone reduced its price to £100 off, so I took my iPhone, which I haven't even got a choice to unpackaged it yet, back to the Carphone Warehouse where I brought it, they told me they do not do 14 days return policy, once you purchased your iPhone you are not allowed to return it for any reason.
Their reason is they have policy that customer signed when purchasing the iPhone says No-14-days return policy.
I have been contacting Carphone, O2 and Apple for the last four days on this issue, it seems O2 and Apple are happy to return the phone but I have to return it with Carphone Warehouse where I brought it, and there is noting I can do, nor the O2 or Apple, to make the Carphone Warehouse refund my iPhone.
What can I do? I cannot believe this.

This from the CPW website on their returns policy:
+You must return your iPhone with all contents (accessories, manuals, etc) and packaging undamaged and unused with a valid till receipt or other proof of purchase to a Carphone Warehouse store and proof of credit check (if applicable) within 7 working days from the date you received your iPhone.+
So it seems they do a 7-day return policy, instead of 14 days? My understanding was that the 14-day return policy was a legal obligation placed on vendors, but I may be wrong.

You can't block restoring in iTunes, but any restrictions you put on the phone are included in the iPhone backup, thus if your son restores from backup, he will restore any restrictions you put on the phone. His only choice, to completely remove restrictions, is to restore as a new device. You can also set parental controls in iTunes: iTunes>Preferences>Parental.

When you attach things, make sure to check the box that says [√] Send Windows-Friendly attachments

If you share an Apple ID, both of your phone numbers should be linked to that ID. You should be able to use your phone number as well. My wife, my daughter and I all share an Apple ID for purchases, and we each text from our iOS devices using our own iPhone numbers.
When iOS 6 came out, you were able to link the phone number with your Apple ID to use for Messages and FaceTime. You will need to sign out of messages on all devices and then start the process all over again.

IMAP email is server based. All messages remain on the server and are viewed remotely when using an email client like Thunderbird. If you delete the message from a remote device it is removed from the server.

When I was in Chicago I had a pro photographer for a client. She wound up with 4 internal drives in her Pro, 4 external drives and an dual array locked in a steel vault in the basement. All from OWC. OK she was a bit paranoid. Great client though.

So sudden power loss is an issue with SSDs.
Personally I'd go with a moderate sized SSD internally and a conventional external for backup. An array would be the most reliable.
