I'm having trouble installing the mini ipod software in my computer. I already have the 20g software installed, is that why? At the step where it asks to plug in the ipod mini to configure, the installation stops. I tried to tranfer music in the mini without the disc and that does not work either. Any ideas ?

no you can't get it free on your mac , because the mac version of iwork( keynote,pages,numbers) is more complicated than the ipad version.But if you have bought your mac in 2013/2014 you can get it free in the mac app store

Yes, you can get those games on your iPad Mini.
Sign into the iTunes and App Store section of the Settings with the same Apple ID used to buy those games. Then go to the App Store and click "Updates" and then "Purchases" and you should see the games your hubby bought with his device.

There is no such thing as an "unlock code" for an iPhone. If someone sold you one you have been scammed. iPhones are unlocked by the carrier the phone is locked to updating the master iPhone database maintained by Apple.

Is the email just a receipt, and not an invoice ? You should be able to see the purchase history, including anything recent, on your account via the Store > View Account on your computer's iTunes : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it

I have just purchased a mini ipad and am looking for a pay as you go connection, not a contract and would like something for up to 90 days. Can anyone advise me which is the best deal. I can get Three where I am and it seems I can get 3 Gbs for about £20 which lasts 90 days and I think I can get O2 for 90days, that is 5 Gbs for I think about £30. - though it seems that the coverage may not be great. TS1398 Just got the mini, specifically to get jobs on a certain website. Jobs change all the time. When I go to website, it has not updated from the first time I logged in on the mini. It works on my laptop just fine. HELP!

My sons just bought me an ipad mini especially so that I could check a certain website on which I sign up for jobs throughout the day. The website is updated constantly throughout the day with new jobs and the status of the jobs I already have accepted and worked on. (It shows the percentage of the job that has been done.) It worked fine only the first time I logged on with the mini. Since then (yesterday,) when I check the website, it lets me log in, but I only see the same exact information that was there the first time I went to the website using the mini. It seems to be 'frozen' on that particular first look. It doesn't update at all.
I know it is not updating because I have also been checking with my notebook computer and with the notebook, the website is up to date.
Maybe its Safari?
I had the same problem when I used a friend's iPad.
I wonder if there is a setting or something that I could change to allow the website to update to the time I check it.
If not, then the ipad mini is a terrible disappointment and I would like to return it.
If you can help me, I would be extremely grateful.

This issue can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked.
*check the permissions on the about:permissions page and in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.

What is it you want to remove? You can remove the backup of your old iPad by going to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Documents>Manage Storage, then tap the name of your old iPad under Backups and scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Backup. To remove iCloud from your old iPad, go to Settings>iCloud and tap Delete Account at the bottom. If you want to keep a copy of the synced data on your old iPad be sure to choose Keep on iPad when prompted.

Only iTunes purchases may copy over via File > Transfer Purchases - otherwise syncing is one way, from the computer to the device. To get the rest of your music/films etc onto the new computer you can copy the backup from your old computer onto the new one and then load them into iTunes
