Just got a new IPad and i have no idea what my security answers are? Can anyone help me? Apple's support is almost useless!
^ as I said above, I've made the account a long time ago and now have 30 dollars racked up but can't use it as Apples BS security blocks all purchases. Is there anyway to get around or fix it?

Just got a new Ipad and can't get computer to recognize it.
I just got a new Ipad and when I hook it up to the computer it does not show up on my desktop or in itunes. And on the ipad screen it still is asking me to plug in the USB. I have tried 3 different ports, restarting both the computer and Ipad with no luck. Any suggestions?
I did not want to start a new msg so I will just comment on the iPad cover interfering with the keyboard connector. I like to leave the Apple case on all the time. Then I can just pick it up and go. I was a little disappointed when I tried to connect with the case on and had to take it off. I took a razor blade to the bottom of the case and cut out a section large enough to fit over the connector. It worked fine.

I just got a new IPAD and transferred everything through the cloud from my old IPAD 2. The new one says "this IPAD is currently being restored. It has been that way for over two hours. Also, I Books opens and then closes right away with no content. Does it take this long, or is there an issue?
I also tried manually underlining a few things on the new iPad and when highlighting a paragraph, it would skip a few lines and the line would go through a few as well. Looks like a major iBooks glitch needs to be addressed here.

I had an ipod touch 4th generation and used the Apple Universal Dock to play music through my stereo. I just got the 5th generation and the lightning adapter but the adapter does not fit into the dock. Apple tech support has no solution, does anyone?
That is the adapter I purchased from Apple which does not fit in the Apple Universal cradle (which apparently is no longer universal). However, I just created my own solution. The cradle holds the dock connector at a slight angle so the adapter, which has a straight bottom edge, will not slide down far enough to make a connection. Since the adapter has a plastic case, I used my Swiss Army knife to whittle it down to fit. It's a no-tech solution, and free!

I have just got a new Ipad and the computer is picking it up but nothing is coming up in Itunes

If you are using Windows, make sure you got iTune version 10.6.3
Sometimes you have to launch iTune manually. -

the spcs page on this site state which video formats the ipad supports
I'd suggest converting your old videos to one of those formats
handbrake is a free program which does this for you
itunes used to be able to too when I right clicked incompatible media but don't see the option any more
or maybe it only show when one right click incompatible media and currently my lib don't have any

I have a child with special needs who uses an IPOD touch with the proloquo2go speaking program to communicate. We just bought a new itouch and it requires that he enter a password before he can open his speaking program. He is intellectually challenged and this additional step (having to think of that 4 digit code) is distracting him from what he wanted to communicate. I want to remove this password screen as a transition to function. Can anyone help me? Every tutorial I have found concerns removing the password or re-setting it. I need to remove that PROCESS.
Do you mean the lock screen passcode?
Settings > General > Passcode Lock > enter your passcode > Turn Passcode Off.
If it is not the lock screen passcode and is only requested when opening this particular app, you may want to check the settings within the app. -

There is no such model as an iMac 6.4. Be sure to check the system requirements for upgrading.
