Just got a replacement ipod
And i say wow. This crap must be refurbished with bad quality. My battery is 8-0-90 percent low. I can already find a dozen scratches on the screen, or it could be just the wrapping which i highly doubt. Nice way to expect a replacement ipod which much less quality.
Well i went there and the guy didnt give me such a hard time since i looked very young. I then got my replacement ipod. While i was there i picked up some screen protectors and im paplying them right now! Im cautious for the front, the back went smoothly. I alreayd got a case, but the screen protectors that game with it were ******** and the adhesive weared off when i tryed to wash the dust sticking on the adhesive.

Just got a replacement ipod mini...
just got my refurbished replacement mini today but my problems aren't solved. my computer still does not recognize this replacement ipod either just like my last one that i sent in for repair. should i maybe try a new USB cable? i have tried both USB ports on my laptop and still no luck. i just figured after all the other problems i had w/ my mini that after getting this refurbished replacement everything would be solved but it's not. i'm just wondering what i should try next.

laureni tried that and it doesn't recognize it so it doesn't hi-light the restore button. also, it still doesn't charge when i plug it in to my usb port. if i reset the mini while it is in the usb port, it charges but i still can't restore or update the ipod. any ideas of what i should do now since i can't hit the restore or update buttons?

I just got my replacement iPod and...
It won't let me format it to PC. I go to iPod updater and I get an error message saying, "iPod service error". I click OK, and then get a pop up saying that it's encountered a problem and needs to close. Whatttt do I doooooooo?

I've recently got a replacement iPod and I'm having a few problems with it.
I've just got a replacement iPod nano 6th generation for my iPod nano 1st generation and I've also jus updated to the latest version of iTunes and basically, I spent a while making sure all the songs I had, had their correct artwork and then I synced my iPod and found that on some of the songs that it was missing? Is there anyway to fix this as it's still there on iTunes. Also there are a few songs that don't play; say I've got the iPod on shuffle, a song will finish and a new one will appear on the screen for less than a second and then straight after a new song will play? Any help please?

From what you described, it sounds like all the content did not transfer over when you synced your iPod nano. I first recommend trying to sync your iPod nano again. You can find the steps to do this in the following article:

Just got a new iPod Nano 7gen. Have downloaded and installed iTunes 10.7 and installed succesfully. But iTunes fails when I try to start the program. Have OS X 10.8.2. Moutain Lion. Please help - thanks.
SvenProblem solved. Copied latest file of iTunes Library.itl from Previous iTunes Libraries and replaced it with the original in Music - iTunes-folder.

i just got a new ipod touch 64 gb 4th generation after my old one got cracked. my mum backed up all my stuff on my laptop pc but i tried to sync everything back on to my ipod but there are non of the music files there + the pictures wont download
itunes content is not part of the backup as it should all be in itunes on your computer.

I just got my replacement phone from Warranty. The phone was on for just 2 hours and it crashed. I was told that motorola knows about this "possible" issue. I got a new sim, hard reset, If it can be done I did it. They are now sending me the same phone again. Number 3. I would hope this one doesn't crash but I rather have a different phone so I can enjoy using my account. The phone's most recent error was today. " Unfortunately, the process com.motorola.widget.circlewidget3d" has stopped. At least the error message works and it's polite. I told tech this and they could not answer my question or help me other then "let's do a hard reset" My warranty replacement is coming on Monday. Let's hope this one works. Anyone else havinbg the same problem. it says "such and such as stop working" on all sorts of stuff! Help! I want my iPhone Back!
I just did a google search on this issue. OMG, I got a ton of videos on this or similar issues. Each one says in some way to clear the cache, reset the data, etc. Why in the world would this continue to happen and they not do a fix that resloves this without having to lose or stop what your doing. This is a very long and constant issue it seems with Android phones as there must have been pages and pages of what I now call "Unfortunately" So I am going to pray that Verizon helps me out and gets me away from this issue and helps me go back to iPhone or try the Samsung.

There is no such thing as a "sub-account." Also, you probably mean iTunes library, when you say "account." Your "account" in iTunes is your Apple ID, which is what you use to sign in to the iTunes Store to make purchases. iPods are associated with an iTunes library, not with an Apple ID (iTunes Store account). You'll need to clarify...
So, this is what I think you are saying. You previously shared an iTunes library on a computer with your friend. Your old iPod was synced to that iTunes library.
You got an iPhone, and at that time, you set up your own iTunes library. Is that on a different computer? How does the iPhone affect your question about the iPod?
You got a new iPod. What is your "old iTunes"? Is that the iTunes library you shared with your friend? -
I just got a new iPod touch 4th generation and I'm trying to connect to my router and my iPod says, 'Cannont find network.' I don't know what to do! No other networks come up on the list so I can't 'tag' along with thier wifi. Please help. I need advice.
What type network is yu router set up for? The 4G iPod can only connect and see 2.4 GHZ networl like B, G and the 2,4 GHz N. There is also a 5 GHz N but the iPod will not even seethat network.

On your phone: Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content & Settings. Should take but a minute & the phone will look just like it did when first taken out of the box.

Just got a new iPod touch...turned it on and it automatically told us to plug it into iTunes...it never asked me for my password to connect to my network...Help!!
This one is really simple.
Just make sure that the "only sync checked songs" box is checked under the music tab. Then select the songs that you want synced. Once you then click "sync", it will remove any of the songs that were automatically put there and add or leave only the ones that you put check boxes next to.

- Try another cable. Some 5G iPods were shipped with Lightning cable that were either initially defective or failed after short use.
- Try another charging source
- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. The cable as well as the iPod, is covered by the warranty.

settings > general > reset > erase all content and settings, once complete the set up assistant will ask if you have an iCloud back up, follow on screen instruction to restore from it.
