Usually it's because you are not making internet connection via wifi.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

My iPad 3 usually syncs with a Windows PC, but since I got the new Mac I thought I'd now sync with it. But when I connected the iPad and tried syncing, iTunes is warning me that I am about to loose all existing data in the iPad and it will be replaced with data from the Mac. I do not have any data on the laptop yet, though I have a lot of photos, music, videos and stuff, most of all many paid apps and games! Now how do I do the syncing without loosing all this? How can I tell my laptop to keep all data in the iPad intact, make a copy of it in teh laptop and go on from there?
It's a problem that happens when you change libraries. Backward syncing only works if you have the Apps on your iDevice downloaded into iTunes through the Transfer Purchases option, but this still does not cover your media (Movies.. Songs.. etc.)
When you double click on a file to play it in iTunes, it will duplicate that file and place the new copy in iTunes' directory. By default, all the files that appear in iTunes must come from this location, and you do not have this directory 'filled up' with the same files you used to sync to.
I guess Apple could solve this issue by allowing iTunes libraries to automatically tag media to particular devices for ease of syncing, but what if you want to sync the same device with 2 different libraries on different computers?
I normally don't sync apps with iTunes at all, because iCloud handles that. -

You could go hunting for a fair price on a refurbished or restored Intel-based Mac or MacBook, as most early models of CoreDuo and Core2Duo can run Snow Leopard 10.6.8, and some much more recent.
The Apple Store's Special Deals section that is online has some fairly recent examples of hardware with an OS, original accessories as noted, power cord, and complementary one year coverage. Eligibility for extended AppleCare plans are noted & may be available for various items in the store. Subject to availability. Refurbished. Like new. The price difference can be about the same as the additional two year AppleCare plan may cost, so get that too.
Third party repaired restored or available through other channels vary in quality, quantity, condition, and may be lacking in some or most original accessories; they should include basic hardware as originally equipped and have the boot-install software disc set as intended for that build model & year specification, included.
Auction sites rarely have that much of a kit together, w/ missing discs, scruffy, extra fees, etc. On the other hand, companies that restore and repair Macs for a living and are authorized Apple service centers may have something, if you aren't in the market for something holiday new or really quick. Older models if reasonably refurbished can still shine years later.

Just got my ipod stolen and now I have changed all my passwords assigned to that ipod, can the person who stole it still see my updated emails and also can they see my facebook, although I changed the password to that too.
If you changed your facebook password they will not be able to login to your Facebook account.
Of course, other Facebook users may be able to see some of Facebook information depending upon how you have your privacy settings configured. -
I just got an iPhone 4 and I'm trying to use it on the t mobile network. The thing is, I've tried restoring the phone so I could use it. I haven't tried my sim on other phones yet. But I will try to see if it works. The iPhone is supposedly factory unlocked btw. Anyways, when I put in my tmobile sim, it searches for the service, but it always ends up saying NO SERVICE. I checked that my network says that the "phone not allowed". So I don't have 3G on this phone I presume. I heard that you need 3G to have service is that correct? But how do I resolve it? The iPhone does know that my phone carrier is tmobile. It just says no service. And I've tried restoring it three times and turning it off and on and it won't work. I don't have a data plan for tmobile tw! Hopefully someone can help! Thank you so much in advance!
If a phone is sold from one friend to another and wants to use it on a different carrier the friend can contact the carrier it was sold by to request it unlocked. I know AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint will give you the steps to unlock it as long as the original contract it was bought under has been completed. eBay/Craigslist is really not the best place to try to get "unlocked phones" from, if it turns out the phone isn't unlocked then I'm really sorry you got stuck with that one and as stevejobsfan said above I would report them immediately and see if you can recover your money. I am using Tiger, 10.4.11 and have an iPod classic 120 gb working fine with about 7 gb of music on it. I just got another iPod classic 160 gb for my wife, and would like to sync it to the same iTunes file, but I got a message which says I must upgrade to iTunes 9.0 or later. If I upgrade to 9.0, will my 120 gb iPod be o.k. with that? Rumor: I have heard that iTunes 9.0 or later changes the format of the music.
Thanks to all for reviewing my question. I am trying to avoid a possible disaster here, having to load about 90 cd's all over again. If anyone knows, could you tell me what will happen if I download iTunes 9.0, and install it. What I do when I get a new computer is the first time I turn it on is use Setup Assistant. Once Setup Assistant has finished doing its thing, the new computer is just like my old one.

If you have already downloaded it, have you installed it yet? I know the most recent Flash plug-in isn't optimized for Chrome, but Safari works just fine with it. There should be an arrow pointing down in your upper right hand corner of the screen. If you tap on that, it will list your downloads. Tap on the Flash download and you should be able to follow the prompts to install the plug-in.

My App Store is locked at an app I purchased and won't let me make any selections. What do I do. I just got my iPad back from factory for new battery. It was updated to iOS 7.02 at factory. Have not been able to take a movie either. Will take picture. No idea what square is, but won't let me select it either.

I just got my iPad, I have an iPod. When I go to put apps on my new ipad it says my apple ID Is disabled. I have reset the passwords. Somehow I have two id's? I've gone into settings for apps signed out and back in with the new p.w. I can't think of what else to do to get the disabled block off. Any ideas?? Thanks

Yes, I was referring to the iTunes ID not needing to be the same as the ID used for iCloud. In order to set up an Apple ID your children will need to have a valid email address that can be verified by Apple. Apple requires this so they have a way of contacting the owner if there is a problem with the account, such as when you may need to reset the password on the account. When you set up the ID, Apple will send a verification email to this email account and you will need to click on the verificating link in the email to complete the process. If they don't currently have an email account you can just set one up with gmail or another free email hosting service. They don't have to use the account but you will need it to set up the ID. -
My wife just got this iPad mini and I want to copy the address book on my iPad 2 over to the mini. Can I use iCloud to do this and what are the steps. The 2 devices have different Apple IDs.
Download the "My Contacts Backup" app from App Store to your iPad 2. Make a backup and send it by email to your wife's address. Open this email from iPad mini and tap the attachment to import the contacts into iPad mini Contacts app.

Hello everyone, I'm trying to figure out the quickest, most efficient way to select and move both notes and MIDI CC's at the same time in the matrix editor w/ hyperview. The only way I've been able to accomplish this is to shift-drag around both part
