I just purchased my first iphone and I am trying to download ringtones from itunes and I am not having any luck can someone help me out
Did you find them in iTunes? Go to "More" (bottom right) and look for "Tones".

You are only as young as you feel......
This is an example of how you can select the exact content that you want to sync to your device. You do not have to sync the entire iTunes library. You can pick and choose the music, apps, books and so on that you want to sync. This is using music as an example.
Connect the iPad to the PC and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Music Tab on the right.
Click on only the albums or playlists that you want to sync.
Click on the Sync Music Heading.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
You can do this with apps, books, movies .... Whatever .... You have the freedom to sync whatever you want. -

Leave the iPhone alone for a minute and go to your PC/Mac. Try and set up the Apple ID on there (again leaving the iPhone to sit and look pretty for a while). Check your emails (not on the iPhone) and see if you are receiving the email into your inbox that way, if you aren't make sure you have put the correct email address in the App store. If you are definitley sure you are putting the correct email address in go to the web interface for your email provider (e.g. hotmail or yahoo) and check the junk mail folders etc.
Do all the above whilst the iPhone is sat around, don't do any of the above on the iPhone. If you manage to crack it and get the email address verified and your account up and running just log in to the App Store on your iPhone once it's all done -

Yes. It is possible. Just sign in to your Apple ID on both of your iPhones in the App Store.

A messege pop up saying that.... Imovie cant be intalled on MacOSX because mac OS X Version 10.7.4 or later is required. You can update Mac OS X using software update.

I just got my first Mac and downloaded Photoshop CC onto it. I opened my first photo and tried to save. I get a message that says " write access in not granted " what does that mean? and why can't I save my images?
How is your external drive formatted? Use Disk Utility to check the volume format. If it is NTFS, you will need to reformat the HDD as exFAT in order to retain universal compatibility (RW to it on both Mac and Windows).

I have just got a leapad for my daughter, trying to download software for macbook pro and it says access denied, so can't even install CD to get it started. Any ideas as to why this would be? Thanks
Try going to System Preferences>Security & Privacy and under the General tab...
...select "Anywhere". Note that you'll need to use an admin account to access these settings.

Check out the built-in Address Book Help guide on your Mac (in Address Book, choose Address Book Help from the Help menu. I dont think you can change the way the address book looks in terms of changing its appearance to look more book like, but I could be wrong. I checked out a few google searches and did not find anything that stated how to do what you are asking. If you find you cant change it to your desired specifications, you can always make the suggestion to Apple: http://www.apple.com/feedback/

I just got a replacement iPhone and when I try to restore it, it restores to almost a year ago when there is an available sync from last month. How do I back it up to the more current one?

I just got my first cell phone, an iPhone5. I added my contacts via my Mac. But the phone on its own imported the contact info of all 5000 of my Facebook "friends." When I go to one of them, hit edit, and try to delete them, the phone tells me that I cannot delete a Facebook friend. This is a nightmare. Please, I beg you, tell me how I can get these Facebook friends off of my contacts list. Thank you!

have you tried reinstalling iTunes? because what I think it's happening is that your computer doesn't have the appropiate drivers needed for your iPhone, this drivers should've come with iTunes, but in your case, it probably didn't. So just try reinstalling iTunes or repairing it. It will help to know if your are on windows or mac

Just got our first iPhone. Question about 8 disappearing
Got an iPhone 5s from Sprint. It has iOS 7. I made the mistake of having it plugged in while it was on WiFi and it downloaded 8 but we didn't install it. Don't remember if it was 8 or the 8.0.1. Anyway the d/l took up 4gb out of the 12 that was available. I just noticed that I have 12gb back and available and 8 is no longer showing anywhere. I read that Apple recalled the update? Is that what happened to me since I hadn't installed it? Did they actually delete it from my iPhone? Now there's a message saying to get 8.0.2 but it says Download and Install not just install. If I never do it will the flag eventually go away?

Just got my first mac, and I think I accidentally erased chess...
Stupid me...
I'm a brand new mac user... I was trying to move the chess icon from the application folder to the dock but I released the mouse early and ended up making a shortcut on my desktop. I then dragged that chess icon from my desktop into the dock and deleted the icon from my desktop into the trash and emptied the trashcan thinking it was just a shortcut. When I tried to click the chess icon left on the dock it would not open. I tried several times and it just doesnt work. So I then deleted it from the dock thinking it would still be in the applications folder. I was wrong... Can someone please school this rookie and tell me how to get chess back... I am not sure if it is included on the software install DVD that came with your system. Sometimes pre-installed non-Apple software is not there. Take a look. Also, do a find on "chess" to see if it is still on your system.

My download won't complete on my iPhone and keeps trying to download
I am trying to dowload a tv programme on my iPhone but when it reaches the end it starts to download all over again. I can't stop it from dowloading and can only pause it. I can't delete it either on my phone or computer. Help!
Try pausing the download then swiping your finger left to right or right to left across it. The delete option should appear on the right. I've had the exact same thing happen with an episode of Grey's Anatomy. I can't download it to my iPhone or computer. It hits a certain point then iIget an error on my computer or the download just starts all over again on my phone.
