Just got my ipod need help with movies!

I just got my ipod, I have put all my music on to it just fine. I downloaded quick time pro. I watched a tutorial on the site saying if I just need to select the file and choose the export to Ipod option and it will appear on my ipod. Well this did not work, I have exported atleast 3 videos and do not know were they go? They did not change format and they did not appear on my ipod or in my itunes movies or library. I have no clue what to could someone plz tell me what to do to get my movies on to my ipod.

i always found my videos that i converted with QT7Pro in my documnets folder. Adn fromt here i simply draged them to my itrunes library upon which after syncing my ipod they appeared there next.
Also before asking questoning about movies and geting them on your ipod lok here and follow the instructions exactly and ask your questions on the software on their forums.

I wouldn't take the original post too seriously - I may of course be naive but it sounds like it could be a troll to me!

Need help with .mov files that won't open

Here's the situation...
I have 2 dvdr's with 4 .mov files on them. when i try to copy them to my desktop it tells me that
"the finder cannot complete the operation because some data in "BonJovi_Who_SaysDV NTSC.mov" could not be read or written. (Error code -36)
I have to gain access to these .mov files tonight or I'm gonna be a real shithead. I just got the discs fedex'd to me today so I didn't put it off til the last minute. Can anyone offer any possible solutions? If so, please help.

Putting aside copyright issues in (naive?) belief you have a legitimate use of the material, your problem lies in the file or disk. One of them is either corrupt or not compatible with the drive you are trying to read it on. Try it on another computer (even a PC) and if you can read it on that computer make a new copy of the file on a new disk or a firewire drive (or USB stick if it fits).

Need help with movies from comp- qtp- itunes- ipod(white screen in qtp)

ive been trying to figure out the steps and the conversions to sync my movies on my computer to my ipod(the main idae. My avi files are playing at windows media player but not in quicktime pro. I tried to convert it but still wont play. all i get is a white screen no sounds. no nuthing...someone please help me with this matter. i would greatly appreciate it if someone could show me the steps.

If you sign on your iCloud account to your iPod, and turn on Photo Stream, it should come up on your iPod. It may take a little time for it to download (you need to be on Wifi):
Settings>iCloud - sign on with your iCloud ID and turn on Photo Stream.

New ipod need help with songs from old one NEED HELP!!!!

I got a new ipod nano 3rd gen. but it wont let me take all of my old songs from my old ipod(nano 1st gen) and put them on my new one! I dont want to lose my songs so PLEASE HELP!!

When I did that on my old ipod and it said doing so will delete all the songs on it and replace it with my library. When I did it on my new ipod it just put the songs that was already in that playlist back on the ipod, not the songs that i need from the old one.

Flash Newbie needs help with Movie Clips/Action Scripting

Hi -
I'm having a problem with my movie clips playing
simultaneously and cannot, for the life of me, figure out what I
have done wrong. I'm new to flash, so I may have set something up
incorrectly, but here's what I have so far:
11 layers, total: 1 layer with 10 control buttons, each
button with the following actionscript:
on (release) {
gotoAndPlay(85);
Where the number changes in relation to which keyframe the
next movie is on.
I have 10 movies, total, but they are only movie clips,
essentially photo slide shows with audio, made all in the library.
The problem happens when I click on the second or third
button. Not only does the movie that I have selected begin to play,
but all of the previous clips do as well, so it all sounds quite
garbled. I don't know what I am missing in the action script, as my
Action Layer has a stop command on it at each keyframe where there
is a new clip to play.
I have tried to add a stopAllSounds command, but I'm afraid
that doesn't do anything because it is not a "sound file" per se,
playing in the timeline.
I'm at the end of my rope and really need some help in
figuring this one out. My project is hanging in the balance on
this, as I have scripted everything else correctly and it runs
beautifully.

Each layer has a blank keyframe before and after each
movieclip. Each movie clip is at a different frame. Even with the
blank keyframes added, the second video starts to play and then the
first video begins to play. Same happens if I click on the third
button. Third plays, and starts 1st and 2nd shortly thereafter. Is
there an action script I can put in that will tell the timeline
that, when a button is clicked, no matter where the movieclip is,
it will stop and start the newly selected movieclip?

I need help with movie transition

I have a flash site that has different swf movies,
contactForm.swf, intro.swf pictureGallery.swf
What Ineed is to have a transition between movies, like an
close and open split stage, up and bottom.
At the same time, when the transition is closing is shrinking
vertically, and when open the next movie will be stretching up.
I saw this and I think can be possible, but I don't know how
to do it, and where to place it. I am fearly new on this, I still
learning. But if someone is willing to help me,and guide me a
little bit, I can catch it fast.
I hope there is someone that knows or has seen what I am
talking about.

That effect is even simpler... no scaling involved at all.
Just have a movieclip that has two halves that when joined in the
middle cover the entire content area and when separated each half
moves off the screen, one to the top and one to the bottom. Let
calls these the curtains.
The way that one
might work is... the content movies are loaded when called
upon and have their own transitions, fading in to start, stopping
for viewing, and fading out to close. A button's selection sets a
variable to identify which movie to load next and initiates closing
of the current content movie (currentMovie.play();) When the
content movie is closed, it calls the curtain to close
(curtain.gotoAndPlay(2);). Sometime during the curtain activity, it
tells the next movie to load (it's possible that it waits for the
movie to have loaded since they are apparently external swf
files).

Just got a iPod Classic and I need help. Been trying for a few days already

Just got my iPod classic. Plugged it in once and iTunes read it fine, I uploaded a few songs. Later that night, I plugged it back in...and the ipod cant get pass the Connected screen. Once that screen shows up, the ipod shuts off. It does that over and over and over so its not even showing up in itunes.
I'm getting frustrated.

Try to leave it connected for a while so that the battery can fill in without any request of power.

You need to contact the people who administer the networks to get the passwords for the networks. If there was such an app as you are asking for then passwords for wifi networks would be worthless.
