Just got my new apply tv but...............
The apple tv seems to get confused with automatic screen ratio. The device, after a while forgets about automatic screen ration settings from TV, so if i watch a movie from apple tv that is , lets say, in 16.9 all is well then when i go to the main home screen of apple tv where all my options are it is still stuck in that ratio until i manually change it to the correct screen ration via my TVs remote control. My old Apple TV was fine all my other devices connected to my Tv are fine.
Whats going on.......?

Have you held the menu and left arrow together for 6 secs ? (I think you have from what you say).
Also try unpowering and restarting AppleTV.

Disconnect your devices then reboot your computer.
Before connecting your devices again reboot your devices. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem. -

I have just got a new ipod touch but my game centre games are on the old one and i don't want to start them again, can I transfer the stage i'm at or anything?
The progress for some games will transfer since some games synce progress to a cental server. For other games you will have to have the backup of the old iPod.
You can restore from backup or access the backup. See:

If you have acces to the old iPod yu can make a backup by connecting the iPod to the computer and right click on the iPOd under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up. Then restore from that backup. -
i just purchase the new iphone 4s. I also have an old ipod with a lot on songs which are not on my itunes becasue i didn't do a file transfer when i got my new computer a ew months ago. How can i add my songs from the old ipod to my itunes.

I got my first macbook today but i just found the system is not updated ( the system is OS X 10.8 (12A269), is that normal? now, im trying to update the system but I got three times unsuccessful updates. Should I pay for it? If I should, how come there is no pay option?
You shouldn't have to pay for anything - if you have 10.8.0 installed, you should just be able to go to Software Update under the Apple menu and the system should prompt you to install 10.8.2. If that doesn't work, contact the App Store support site - http://www.apple.com/support/mac/app-store/.
While waiting to hear from the App Store support folks, you can always download the 10.8.2 combo and install it - http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1581 - and then be sure to install the supplemental update - http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1600.

There is no set time. You can charge whenever you like, & for as long as you like. You can't overcharge, & charging automatically stops when your battery is full. The Lithium battery in your phone has no memory effect.

Hi, I just bought an iPhone 6, 64GB and had everything ready to do the "restore from backup" from my old iPhone 4 8GB. It kept stopping and I'd have to start over from the beginning. When I finally got it to do something with the help of my provider(who had walked me thru from the beginning anyway); I figured I was all set. Then I went to see my pics to use one for my lock screen and there were NO PICTURES AT ALL and only part of my calendar came over. I'm missing a lot of future appointments that I know are set up. I made sure not to wipe out my old one yet; as I will have to since I did the trade in plan; so I still have my old iPhone 4 and it has everything in it, in addition to having the backup on two computers in the house.
I also tried syncing it after the restore since things were missing, but that didn't work either.
I would appreciate any help so I can use my phone and get going with it.
Thanks!Did you choose the wrong back up? There should be a drop box when you go to "Restore from Back up" in iTunes and your iPhone is plugged in, on the Summary page. Choose the correct back up. If you can't find one, and you still have your device, back up your iPhone 4 again and then choose that back up. Or check for an old iCloud back up if you have one.

Just got a new Zen Mirco, but I think there may be somthing wrong
I just picked one up today, and I love it, but I have one question.
Whenever I begin to play a song, for about the first four or fi've seconds there's a quiet but noticable high-pitched squealing sound through the headphones in the background. For the rest of the song, though, all I hear is the music. I believe this has somthing to do with the hard dri've, because I can hear it when I am uploading files to the player/ Does anybody else have this problem?
I know that there have been some problems with a squealing sound when the backlight is on, but this problem occurs even with the backlight turned off.
I've tried a few different pairs of headphones and still have the same problem. I don't hear the sound when the headphones are unplugged, so it's not the unit itself making the noise.
Firmware Version .02.05, if it matters, but I'm pretty sure it a physical issue, not a software one.

The noise (very soft; I have made some experiments, and some people cannot even hear it; I myself have very keen hearing) always runs parallel to increased HD action (e.g. getting all the song info on a 50-song playlist, when I inspect the playlist).
My bet would be that some of the voltage peaks of the HD running high are induced into the line that carries the music signal for the headphone socket. In my case, the noise does not bother me because it's very shortli'ved and only happens anyway when nothing is playing (at least I can only hear it in those cases).
I could imagine though, given all the problems with power the ZM has (have a look at my site below), that there may be some Micros that exhibit this noise more intensely than others, as it must be hardware-dependent, and hardware is never EXACTLY equal (e.g. soldering) on any two devices.

Hi i have just updated to the latest i-tunes (11) but when i connect my i-pod shuffle to it it does not show you what tunes i have on it like the lod version used to.Which is a bit of apain as i cannot remember every tune i have put on it.Is there something i am missing somewhere.Putting tunes on it is no problem but like i say is there somewhere you can see the list.

In the OSX BootCamp Assistant did you download the "Windows Support Software" (aka BootCamp Windows Drivers) and installed them after the Windows Installation ?
The Boot Camp - Installation & Setup Guide (OS X Lion) describes how-to do this.
OSX 10.7 Lion does not come on a disc.
