Just installed FF4. No menu button, no app tab, no bookmark button. How do I get these to display?
I just downloaded and installed FF4. Why are the features highlighted in "Getting started with Firefox" such as the menu button, the app tab and the bookmark button not being displayed?
# By default the Firefox button is hidden in XP. To get it, right click a toolbar and uncheck "Menubar"
# To make a tab an app tab right click a tab and select "Pin as app tab".
# To have the Bookmarks button display, right click a toolbar, and select Customize... In the dialog box that appears, drag the Bookmarks button to a toolbar.

Thanks! I poked around a bit and found how to add it myself actually before I got your answer...but I had put it on the main toolbar but when I looked at the screens on the link you sent me, I saw that the button was on the bookmarks bar itself and I liked that place much better. So thanks for that too!

Is it possible to make a tab group into an app tab or bookmark button for single click switching?
Firefox 4 - I like the idea of tab groups but don't like the way you have to switch between them.
Is there a way to create an app tab or button that I can click on to switch between my tab groups?

So I'm new to Garage band and I know I can use my computer keyboard as a midi interface for some instruments, i.e. drums. However I notice that when I click on some instruments like horns or guitar a pop up opens that says I need to download them at about 1.2 GB of free storage. I click on ok to start the download and the app store pops up but after loading it tells me there are no updates available. Could it be possibly bc I am using the GB that came on the computer and not the paid app or is it just me not doing somehting right? Not sure what else to do and I want these instruments to fool around with and create awesome music...any help would be appreciated.
Mahalo!You should be able to download and use the additional loops without a problem, but it works not always smoothly. And there have been different fixes that worked for different people. See this long thread if something will work in your case:

Sometimes you simply need to reload the "Updates" tab of the AppStore using ⌘R after signing in with your AppleID and starting the download. -

thanks in advance for your helpTry a soft-reset and see if the duplicates still show after the iPad has restarted (a couple of times I've had it happen to me when moving an app whilst it is downloading, and the soft-reset has fixed it) : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

How can I just disable "navigation toolbar" completely for the App Tabs? I don't want to disable this for other normal tabs. This is important as otherwise while I am in the app tab, i mistakenly start browsing from that tab and meaning of the app tab is completely lost...

Updated my iPhone 5 to ios7, in the App store after installing updates I now have a never ending list of the Apps I've updated. How do I get rid of the list after they've been updated? In the previous version I did not have an annoying permanent list.
iOS 7 allows you to have your apps update automatically. Therefore, the list of what has been updated stays so that you can see what was updated, when and what the release notes say. It has been suggested that they list has a limit, much like Recents. Currently, there is no way for the user to delete the entries manually. Just try not to look at them.

You can't delete it. Look on all your screens and inside all your folders. If you still can't find it go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout. This will restore the home screen to its original configuration but may move other apps around to do so. (You may want to take some screenshots of your screens first so you can recreate your app layout.)

Ive just updated my iPhone4 to the IOS5 software and i have lost all my apps? why? and how can i get them back?
When an iPhone updates, it wipes the whole device clean and then reinstalls the software and then the backup. Obviously you didn't create/couldn't create a backup either via iCloud or iTunes. You can get your apps back when you go to App Store>Updates>Purchased and download the apps you want.

I have just installed Digital Editions 4.3 but am having poblems downloading digital books as I get an error message stating 'Error! Check Activation'. I have Windows 7 and didn't have any problems using the previous version of Digital Editions. Can anyone advise?

Windows 7 ,Lenovo G580, 8Gb Mem, 4GB AMD radion graphics card, no other changes other than installing FF18in this case the obvious other candidate would be an incompatible extension - can you disable them one-by-one to find out which one is interfering.

Picture messages without a texting plan are 25 cents each. Better than the $1.99 or $2.99 from the online store....
Attaching to an email would not work as mobile email does "do" attachments.
Sending to your online album will use text messages, I believe. Better to use a micro SD card, save to the card, and transfer them to your computer that way. -
Clicking "Open a New Tab" button or "Ctrl+T" doesn't open a new tab any more. How do I get that functionality back?
When I click, type or use the File menu or try right-clicking mouse to open a new tab, nothing happens. However I am able to open links in a new tab.The Ask Toolbar is causing that in the Firefox 3.6.13+ versions. Evidently something in that extension isn't compatible with a Firefox security fix. Disable that extension or un-install it.

I do not want to update to Lollipop right now. How can I get rid of the notification that wants me to install. It says 'Install Later' or Install Now. I don't want to do either so how can I get rid of this notification that keeps popping up?
You cannot stop it from popping up.
it will continue every few minutes until its installed.
