Just installed the New CC Premiere Pro CS6 (Family)
Just installed the New CC Premiere Pro CS6 (Family) and now my older Premiere Pro Files no longer work. When I try to open one of these older files I get a pop up that states the files are damage. At this point I am totally shut down.

It doesn't. I looked through that info, and I cannot tell what I am installing when I download "Premiere Pro CS6 Family" The reason I ask is that when I installed Photoshop, it also installed Bridge, but doesn't tell you that anywhere, so I spent a half hour trying to figure out where I was supposed to download Bridge from, only to find out it was already installed.

I just installed the new mountain lion software on my iMac. I was currently running Snow Leopard. My problem is with my mouse. Now when I scroll down the page it moves in the opposite direction. In system preferences I tried checking and unchecking Natural for scroll feature. Movement from side to side works fine. Has anyone experienced this problem?
I think this new scrolling behaviour was introduced with Lion. You do get used to it pretty quickly (well I did). Are you sure that deselecting Natural Scrolling in Mouse Prefs doesn't re-instate the previous behaviour, it does here.

I just installed the new firefox for Mac OSX 10.6.8 and when I select an image on a site (right click and copy) and paste in Photoshop 5.5, the image lightens. It does not do this in Safari.Firefox, Safari, and PhotoShop each handle embedded color profiles differently. I haven't tried it myself.

Could you please try to sign-out and in via the CC-app (preferences section) and afterwards restart Lr Desktop. A restart of CC-app alone would not solve your issue. Hope that helps. Guido

The setting in "Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.

I have LavVIEW 8.6 full version installed. I tried to upgrade to 8.6 professional version by just installing the new disks, and it didn't perform the upgrade. Do I have to un-install first and re-install, or is there a trick ?

Go to Solution.Look into the License Manager in the National Instruments folder of your Start menu. It is probably just a matter of activating LabVIEW 8.6 and possibly some other features with your new license code instead of your previous full version license code.

I just installed the new CC apps. Since they get installed parallel to the old ones instead of upgrading, do I un-install the old ones with the un-install app in the old folder?

Are you using a Mac machine or Windows PC?
If using a Mac machine, go to Application-->Utilities-->Adobe Installer-->old apps names and run the uninstaller for old apps.
If you are using Windows PC, go to Control panel-->>Program and Features and uninstall the old apps.
It will uninstall everything related to old apps, but your setting must be imporated to new version of apps.

Just installed the new ITunes (running Windows 7) and now it cant see my IPhone (which it saw fine just a few minutes ago). So I can't do a backup etc. What's wrong and how do I put it right?
Well, without my doing anything, the situation has now righted itself. I came down this morning, switched on the computer and the IPhone - and now ITunes recognises the IPhone (it is listed under "Devices", which it wasn't before)
I notice however that the IPhone doesn't get listed under "Devices" until the backup process is complete. So maybe this points to what may have been going on before? Except that the reason I was worried was because the first thing I wanted to do after dowloading the new version of ITunes is make a backup - and I couldn't because ITunes didn't "see" the phone.
Anyway, not the first time I have had the eerie feeling that my relationship with IWorld is not in my control.
