Just intalled Creative Cloud on my mac, it launches but displays nothing and seems to refresh indefinitly. What to do?

Hello,
I just purchased a Creative Cloud Lightroom + Photoshop subscription and installed Creative Clood. It launches but displays nothing and seems to refresh indefinitly. What to do?
Here is what I get :
Nothing happens. It keeps on turning. What should I do?

Found that. Worked for me :
Close the Creative Cloud application.
Navigate to the OOBE folder.
Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
Mac OS: /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder
Delete the opm.db file.
Launch Creative Cloud.

  • How to get plugin file for After Effects CC 2014 (just bought creative cloud)

    I just bought Creative Cloud, installed it, and then went to the Adobe site to install After Effects, since I couldn't find a way to do this on the CC menu. I have Mac OSx. I downloaded the After Effects CC 2014 app and it installed it onto my desktop. So when I go to applications>adobe there is no After Effects file and no plugins. And in the menu within After Effects there is no listing of the Effects & presets. I tried searching various things like "curves" and nothing showed up except for "contents"......any idea on how to solve this?

    If you are telling us that you could not find After Effects in the Creative Cloud app then your system does not meet the minimum system requirements. If you somehow found a disk image and managed to run it and it gave you the option to choose Desktop when installing then you probably don't have a light copy of CC 2014, because it should only be installed using the CC app. Mac OSx tells us nothing. You could be on Lion, or Leopard, or Mountain Lion or even something else.
    Tell us more about your system, show us what you get when and if you get AE to launch (sounds like you're looking inside the disk image for an app and it's not there), and give us the exact steps or error messages that you are seeing when you try and launch AE. BTW, plug-ins are only accessible from inside the timeline or the comp window when the App is running.

  • Just purchased Creative Cloud single-app membership for Dreamweaver, can't open dreamweaver

    I just purchased Creative Cloud single-app membership for Dreamweaver, to upgrade the trail CS6 i had, it was still opening in trial format so i uninstalled dreamweaver on my mac. Now i can't download the new version of Dreamweaver via the Creative Cloud app.  Can you reset my account so i can download Dreamweaver CC to my mac.

    I am on OS x 10.8.3
    I have used the cloud cleaner and downloaded creative cloud again and dreamweaver cc, I can open dreamweaver but its always in trial mode.
    When click on Licence Product and login using my Adobe ID, it then asks for the serial number.

    Hi Ken,
    Uninstall the Acrobat X trial
    Uninstall Acrobat X in Mac OS®
            In Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers, select the Acrobat X Uninstaller and double-click it.
            Follow the onscreen instructions to uninstall Acrobat.
            In the Authenticate dialog box, type the user name and password for an administrator account and click OK.
             Note: The uninstaller removes only Adobe Acrobat X files from the system.  It does not remove Adobe Reader files, Acrobat user data, or files that are shared with other Adobe applications.
        (Optional) Move any Adobe PDF Settings files that you created from the Library/Application Support/Adobe PDF folder and drag the folder to the Trash.
    Uninstall Acrobat X in Windows®
        Open Control Panel > Programs and Features (Vista/Win 7) or Add/Remove Programs (XP)
        Find the entry for Acrobat X, select it
        Click Uninstall and follow the on screen instruction
    Then reinstall Acrobat X through the Adobe Application Manager like other programs
    You can launch Adobe Application Manager from either the Start menu (Win) or Applications (Mac) folder.

    Sure , you can install on both Mac as well as PC .
    Max activation allowed = 2 computers.
    Student discounted price will be valid for one year.
    Later you can purchase with different Adobe ID , with valid proof of eligibility .
    Once you had purchased yearly prepaid subscription , it will not expire for another one whole year , whether you are still student or finished graduation. It will expire after year.

    Is it possible to use Creative Cloud both on Mac and Windows on a second computer with one license? At home I work with Mac, and out I work with Windows.

    In 2.1.5 of the Software License Agreement it says that you have to own tow separate licenses if you use Mac and Windows on one computer. Is this not also the case if you have two computers, one operating with Mac and one operating with Windows?

  • Can't Install Creative Cloud Desktop on Mac OS X 10.7.5

    If I try to install it on my default user, I get an error 13.  Specifically:
    "cookies dir: cannot make folder / cookies: permission denied (error 13)"
    If I try to install it on my Administrator user, I get an error A12E6 that says there's a problem with the installation.
    I tried the solutions for both errors.  For the error 13, I ran terminal and did the following solution as posted in another thread by a staff member:
    chmod -N ~/library
    chmod +a "everyone deny delete" ~/library
    Did nothing.
    Then I tried popping over to my administrator account, and I did the following solution as posted in another thread:
    For MAC
    Step 1: Go to /Application/Utilities (Rename Adobe Application Manager to Adobe Application Manager_old)
    Step 2: Click on Go (Finder Menu)-> Go to folder-> ~/Library (Which is user Library)
    In User Library go to -> Application Support -> Adobe and Rename OOBE to OOBE_old
    After rename the above mentioned folders download the updated version of AAM from : http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4774
    After installing AAM try to sign in it should work now.
    This also did nothing.  What can I do to get this thing working?
    I'm running a Power Mac on OS X 10.7.5.

    SamReveley279 can you please post a screen shot of the Error 13 which you are experiencing?
    It does sound like from your description that you are facing a multitude of network failures.  To confirm you tried the steps listed in "Unknown Server Error" when you attempt to log in to Adobe Creative Cloud - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/unknown-server-error-launching-cc.html.  Please be aware that this issue was suppose to be resolved in later versions.  Often when Users experience this error, with the current version, it is because of a communication failure.
    I would also recommend reviewing Sign in or activation errors | CS6, CS5.5 Subscriptions, CS6 Perpetual - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html.  Although the fact that you are able to initiate the download more points to a problem with the stability of the connection rather than the ability to connect.
