Just purchased a CC account, do I have to uninstall/reinstall trials?

I've only got Photoshop CC (2014) and Illustrator CC (2014) installed right now and the trials both expired today. I've purchased my subscription and signed out and back in to Adobe Application Manager on my MacBook Pro but they both say "Trial Expired" and have a Buy button next to them which just takes me to the Adobe page to buy a license, which I've already done. When I open one of the apps and choose "License this software," I'm asked to enter a serial number which I don't have. Any advice? Thanks.

I don't mean to be facetious but sometimes the simplest things are overlooked. To connect to your library you have to have the computer where the iTunes library is located running and with iTunes open. It also needs to be on the same network. My network is dual band and works with either stream but a friend of mine does not. He has to set the computer and the Apple TV to the same band. Hope this helps.

With most multi-function devices, you need to run the printer manufacturer's setup/configuring program first. That will either "Add" the printer directly, or make it discoverable in the "Add-a-Printer" window. Look around, you probably downloaded that program when you downloaded the Driver.

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 n above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

Klaus1 is perhaps too brief if you have not done that before:
1. Put first DVD in the optical drive
2. restart and, immediately after chime, press C—this forces boot from CD/DVD, wait until you see Apple logo, then release C key
3. wait until you see the list of install languages, English is default, click ahead and now
4. Go up and choose Utilities, open Disk Utility, and choose to Erase/Format disk, as you wish
5. Close Disk Utilities and you will be redirected to installation proper
6. Go ahead according to what you see on the screen
If you do not have the two DVDs of any mac (bar the very recent ones, with Lion preinstalled), you must get a retail one, perhaps SL would be best or Lion, flash drive version directly. Booting from retail DVD is identical; for flash boot, press Option key after chime, then choose the USB flash disk, you will see it on the screen after several seconds.
The process is simple and logical, do not be afraid, you just need the install DVD or, beginning with Lion, Lion flash drive version. You may of course download the App Store version of Lion, which is at half price approx., but you need another mac to move it to another disk / flash drive in order to install it or do that before you erase the disk which, I understand, has a running system on it.

Susan Meredith: You folks don't understand. Most of us are very excited at the new "bells and whistles" that Adobe has introduced and in the past we've been able to QUICKLY update to the new version. We haven't had to uninstall anything to get the new. We are all working and have deadlines. This is A HARDSHIP ON ADOBE'S USERS AND THEY NEED TO FIX IT ON THAT END. Or give up some monthly fees.

It is always a good idea to uninstall before installing new, so the system registry entries are fresh

HT1206 I just purchased a second ipad, can I have more than one itune account on the same computer? If so how do I set that up?

I just purchased my second ipad and I want to have it under a different apple id. I want to keep it more streamlined for things that I really use and not filled up with a lot of games, pictures and so on. I don't know how to go about setting the itunes account up. So can anyone out there help me with this.

I would advise that you not set up a second Apple ID. It's really not necessary - having two Apple IDs won't affect how iTunes works with your iPads - and will just complicate matters. Each iPad will be treated independently and can be set to sync only the items you want on that particular iPad. If you really want to keep the two iPads separate, set up different iTunes libraries and have only those items you want on the related iPad in that library, rather than a different Apple ID. If you plan not to use a computer and just download directly to the iPads, you can again choose what apps and content each iPad gets.
But answering your specific question, you can have content from up to five iTunes Store accounts on any one computer or iPad. To create a new iTunes Store account, you'll need a different email address, and from there you just create the account the same way you did the first one.

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar

Firefox will not fully load and run anymore just out of the blue when I click to run it it just sits and does not respond I have totally uninstalled and reinstalled this many times and it still does the same thing why would it stop working?

When I booted my computer up from cold and click firefox to run it sat there and tryed to load instead it sits there and does the nor responding thing. I have totally uninstalled the program a few times and re installed a new download and the same thing happen. I can not run firefox any longer and i have run it everyday for a very long time. This seems to be the only program with an issue.

That's when it all started for me, from that version..... Now Version 3.6.14 is out, I was hoping the version 3.6.14 might would fix the problem wrong again....

No updates on iPhoto and iMovie, says they were purchased on another account; I only have the one.

I just received my new MacBook Pro 13, and while updating software and installing Office and Acrobat, found that I could not update iMove or iPhoto, because they were purchased under a different account. I've only ever had one apple ID, and iMovie and iPhoto were, of course, preloaded. How can I update these two apps?

With a new Mac, you must first sign into your Mac App Store account and go to the Purchases pane and accept the preinstalled iLife suite of apps as part of the initial setup. Only after you have taken that step can you update those apps.

So i am new to the Mac world, and just purchase a Macbook pro. I have a new Sony camera that i wanted to upload the software onto my Mac. Its a CD of the Sony editing picture program. I put the cd in the side slot, but how do i download and use it?

First, find out if the disc contains software for Mac OS X also, or only for Windows. This should be indicated in the camera user guide, or on the disc label. If it doesn't explicitly say it's for Mac OS X, then you have nothing to install (except possibly the camera's user guide in PDF format). You may try Sony's tech support site to find out if there is any Mac OS X software you can download. The camera's user guide or 'Get Started' doc should have this info also.

If all you want is your old photos, you could backup your new phone using iTunes, then restore it from your iCloud backup, import the old photos to your computer, then restore it from the backup your made in iTunes returning your newer data to your phone. If you want your old photos on your phone, sync them there from your computer using iTunes. The process would look like this:
Connect your phone to your computer, when it appears in iTunes on the left sidebar right-click on it and select Transfer Purchases; right-click again and select Backup.
Disconnect from your computer and go to Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content and Settings to return it to new
Go through the activation setup, choosing to Restore from iCloud backup. Make sure your phone is plugged into a charger and has access to wi-fi as this can take hours to complete.
When complete, without connecting your phone to your computer, open iTunes and go to Preferences. On the Devices tab check "Prevent...from syncing automatically"
Now import the old photos to your computer (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083)
When done, open iTunes, right-click on the name of your phone on the left sidebar and select Restore from Backup, choose the backup you made in step 1.
Go to the Photos tab and select the photos you want to sync to your phone and sync.
