Just purchased a movie on accident, can i get my money back?
i purchased a movie a few moments ago and i did not mean to, can i receive my money back? i don't want this movie!!
Just be aware that it up to the representative that takes your case as to whether or not to issue a refund. Unless someone else gets a hold of your device it's very hard to "accidentally" purchase an app or movie. They do keep notes on your file so that if this happens too often they will start to refuse refunds.

I just purchased a movie and I can't get the iTunes extras to play, the unrated version plays but I want to watch the special features . Am I just stupid or is there something simple I am not seeing?
Hello there, NighHawk420.
The following Knowledge Base article provides some practical information on where to locate the iTunes Extras when purchased with a movie from iTunes:
About iTunes LP and iTunes Extras
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3823
When you purchase a movie with iTunes Extras, the primary movie along with the iTunes Extras will download to your iTunes Movie folder. Mouseover the cover art and click the icon on the album to open the main menu to play the movie or view other features.
Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.
Cheers,
Pedro. -
I've bought some songs twice on accident, can I get my money back?
I have recently been off itunes. I'm restocking my library now, and was getting some Taylor Swift songs and accidently bought some I already had on another album. I was wondering, as I already have the songs, can't I get a refund as I've bought them twice?
All purchases are considered final, but you can try contacting iTunes support and see if they will refund or credit you : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

I just purchased Lion OS and I can't get the mouse gestures to work on my MacBook.
This is the iMac forum- you might get a quicker response in MacBook area. But I assume you have tried the settings in the Sytem Preferences for Trackpad.

I just purchased a new iMac, and can't get into my Wordpress blog. The username and password work on my old Macbook, iPhone4, etc, and all my other password-restricted sites are accessible...just not Wordpress. Ideas? New to all this...Thanks! JP
Try holding down the Shift key in Windows when opening iTunes. In the resulting dialogue you will get the option to create a new library or navigate to an existing one. The default location for your iTunes library is in C:\Documents and Settings\Username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\ (or C:\Username\Music\iTunes\ in Vista). Look in there and see if you have more than one library file (they have the extension .itl) If you have more than one try opening them in turn, you may find your original library is still intact: How to open an alternate iTunes Library file

Hi, I rented a movie off iTunes but the there is no sound. I've bought and rented previous movies and I've never had any problems with the sound before. Is this some kind of glitch? How can I get my money back?
Hey grossa2,
First, here is a way to report an issue with your purchase:
How to report an issue with your iTunes Store, App Store, Mac App Store, or iBooks Store purchase
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1933
Then, I'd go through this article, which helps troubleshoot a lack of audio playback in iTunes:
iTunes and QuickTime for Windows: Audio does not play or plays incorrectly

Can this be redownloaded? Can I get my money back?
What is MHGJZ20n0Q (we are fellow users here on these forums) ? Depending upon what it is you might be able to redownload it via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes.
If it doesn't show there (and it's a purchase that you've just made) then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption -
I just acsidantly buy Aperture but i changed my mind. How can i get my money back?
I just accidently bought Aperture from App store. However I changed my mind I how can I get my money back?
Too late. According to the Refund Policy of the App Store (which is the same for the iTunes Store), once you acquire it, it's like opening up the box and using it. The product is loaded on your computer, and it's registered to you. You know that almost all Apple Pro products have a 30 day trial policy, so you could have tried it for 30 days.
Though you may not get far, try writing a professional message here:

My movie I recently downloaded from itunes "Act of Valor" only works for a out 5 chapters, then it stops working. Other movies work on my iPod touch. How do I fix this issue? If I can't, can I get my money back?
- Go here and see if you can redownload the movies. If you can then delete the movie and redownlod it.
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
- Otherwise, contact iTunes and explain your problem. They should allow a free redownload. -

My 3 year old and I downloaded, 'mini pets'. app. Whilst playing he managed to purchase a 'vault of gems' for a staggering £70!!!!
Can we get our money back? I can't believe there was no security or the iTunes password to submit and how is an app upgrade £70 these people are rob dogs.
Please help....JohnGeorge,
Apple allows apps to list themselves as "Free" if the initial download is free, even if the app has kid-oriented inducements for costly in-app purchases. The in-app purchases are almost always ridiculous, over-priced game accessories, of which your example of "vault of gems for £70" is right up there. It is way too caveat emptor for my taste, but each consumer can form their own opinion on that.
To Apple's credit, they have a good record of granting refunds providing you explain the extenuating circumstances (purchase by a minor) and only ask once. Contact iTunes Customer Service.
And immediately, you need to place restrictions on the devices. The restrictions are off by default (caveat emptor!), so you need to take action to place them. See this document: iOS: Understanding Restrictions
