Just purchased a new computer and want to move my favorites and passwords over to it - how?

I will not be using the computer I am currently on after one week - when the new computer is up and running. I heard there is a way to see all of my favorites and passwords on the new computer. How do I do this? Or is there a file I need to copy out of the old computer and into the new one to do this?
