Are you logged in to your account as administrator with anti-virus software disabled.
Were you able to get Acrobat icon or unable to even run the executable file?
What exactly happens when you try launching Acrobat?

At the top of the box it should say Adobe Acrobat Pro DC or Adobe Acrobat Standard DC.
On each of the two machines, what does it say? (I think something odd has happened)

I was not aware that the Administrator account was active on Win 8.1. On Win 7 it is inactive and has to be activated to use. For activation on Win 7 I always have to look it up on the web. There are just a few steps needed, but you may indeed have the Administrator account active. For the TEMP folder, you can simply empty it (often some files do not like to delete). The cleanup can be done with various software like CCleaner. You can also just go to the Windows\TEMP folder (I think this works in Win 8.1) and delete the files and folders found there (C:\Windows\Temp). Sometimes there is a temp folder under your user account that may be used for such files and that one could be cleaned too (C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Temp). I am not sure which one Adobe uses. The issue with the temp folders is that they are limited in size as I understand it. It may be someone else has a better suggestion, but if the administrator and anti-virus suggestions did not help, this is my next recommendation.

Having tried this, I was met with a recorded message, in Arabic, and no options to speak to anyone. I have found this process extremely frustrating and poor on your behalf. Not providing any options to speak to an Adobe representative is equally annoying. Please get back to me ASAP, as I need to use the product immediately.

CS2 is very old and reached its "end of life" a while back. So probably won't run on modern operating systems. If you can still run it, you'll need to uninstall what you have and re-install with the download link below to activate it.

It is now the same icon appearing on all newly downloaded apps. Does anyone know what is happening here? Even updating an older game app resulted in the original game icon changing to the new identical icon that all new apps are appearing with. This new icon is like a page with a ruler, pencil and paintbrush. Any tips on how to stop this or how to revert to the icon as it appears on the app store would be appreciated.

What browser are you trying to download from? Please make sure that you're signed in as an admin, have virus-protection disabled, and try using a different web browser. You can also try downloading directly from Download Acrobat products | Standard, Pro | XI, X - Adobe

I tried updating my Iphone4 from iOS 6.1.4 to 7 via iTunes. After downloading, I got an error 4005 message during installation and now my phone is completely wiped out; is not being recognized by my PC; and all I get on the phone is a photo of a USB plug and the iTunes symbol! Can anyone, PLEASE, help?!?

The phones in recovery mode so if yu connect it to itunes it should ask to restore it back to the last back up you have done.

Were you able to activate the product post purchase ? Try the following step and advise if this was able to resolve the query for you or not.
1) Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\SLCache and rename SLCache to SLCache_Old.
2) Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Adobe\SLStore and rename this to SLStore_old
Post doing the above, launch Acrobat and try to activate the product.
NOTE: If you have any other application installed on the machine, the above step would remove the activation for those products as well and convert them to a trial version.
