Just purchased audio books they have not appeared in muy library as being downloaded and my 'nan' will not synchronise. never happened before.
Hi, I have just purchased audio books and none have been downloaded, or show as if they have been downloaded to my account. I plugged in my Nano and it didnt synchrose as it usually does. Anyone know why or what I could do to rectify the problem. Jodie 13
So the audiobooks do not appear under the Books (that appears in the left hand pane) category of iTunes?

Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions - Lion/Mountain Lion
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported then click on the Repair Permissions button. When the process is completed, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.
After this is completed download and install 10.8.4 Mountain Lion Update v10.8.4 (Combo).
If this doesn't work, then reinstall Mountain Lion:

Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless. -
I have a Macbook Pro. I updated to 10.9.4 an downloaded the trial for Creative Cloud. It downloaded and installed but will not open. I shut down and tried reinstalling. Same problem.
Thanks.I stumbled upon the solution. In addition to downloading Creative Cloud, I needed to go back to the website and download trials for the programs I want to use--Photoshop and Lightroom. Once I did that, I was in business. Would save trouble if that was made clear on the download site.

Hi, I have a MacBook Pro. It is plugged in and charging but will not switch on. I try pushing ctrl, shift, alt and power together then release and press power again. The laptop goes to a white screen but switches off straight away. Any ideas?

I have two Ipad's and tried to create two ITune Libraries on my computer. Now cannot find the original library on my computer and the Ipad will not syc?
You should be able to accept this message, it will cause existing music, photos (not camera roll) and videos (also excluding those in camera roll) to be removed and replaced with those from this computer. All other user data on the iPad will be unaffected.

I tried to update my iPhone 4s to the ios 6 and it wouldn't download and my phone will not work. I started the download and it said that it had 6 hours remaining, so i just left it overnight. The next morning it was working fine, but the ios 6 didn't download. I looked at it later and it had the turning on screen with the loading bar under it. It stayed like that for a while and the bar didn't move. I needed to use my phone so I tried to make it go to the home screen, but nothing happened. I held down the lock and home button for a few seconds and everything went black. I tried to turn it back on and all it has done all day is stayed on the turning on screen. I tried plugging it into the wall, and nothing happened. I tried connecting it to iTunes, and nothing happened. I don't know what I need to do to get it to work.

I just updated my 3GS to 5.0 and most of my apps and contacts disappeared. THis has never happened before through many updates. How can I get it back to where it was?
I did a restore from backup but that did not change anything.
I can see my apps in iTunes - it is like the update got some apps but not all, no contacts.
Total waste of my Friday.
What steps can I take to bring the phone back.
I know Steve is not smilingI got my contacts back by doing another restore! Relief..
But only a very few odd apps are showing up on the 3GS

Open the Mac App Store.
From the Store menu, choose Sign In.
Enter your Apple ID and password.

Click the Resume button next to the app name.

I play music on my hi fi via an airport express attached to my iMac.
Since installing maverick the sound quality is terrible and I get frequent distortion, which never happened before.
I have reset the airport express and reconfigure my wireless settings. I have also used Ethernet on its own but still get the same sound problems.
I would love to turn itunes sound off as you used to be able to do, but this I believe can't be done.
Has anyone else been having the same types of problem, and better still has anyone got the answer?When the AirPort Express Base Station (AX) is connected by Ethernet, you will find an option in the AirPort Utility, labeled: Enable AirTunes over Ethernet on the Music pane. Just select this option to allow streaming iTunes via the AirPort's Ethernet port. You should also be able to disable the AX's wireless so that it shouldn't interfere with the nearby TC.

TS3218 I cannot get my nana 30g to sync. I installed the downloads and it still will not sync.
I am unable to sync my iPod 30G with the my iTunes Library.
- Does the manufacturer say it will work with a 4G iPod with iOS 6.1.3? Sometimes an iOS update will break compatibility so the manufacturer has to say it will work with 6.1.3
- Does the iPod full sat in the dock? The case configuration of the 4G is different than previous iPod touches and sometimes it will not fully seat
- Sometimes this this works:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem I conclude that it is just not compatible. You can make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store and hear what they have to say. Bring the dock too.

I am trying to downloadapps onto the iPad we just purchased, and it keeps telling me that I need to authorize my computer. I go ahead and authorize by going into iTunes/store/authorize computer, I verify the information that is given. I go back and try to redownload the apps and I get the same exact message, this computer is not authorized for this device. What am I doing wrong?
I have been trying to work through this problem by myself and have so far downloaded the most current version of iTunes. Frome there when it tells me I have to authorize this computer, I had to not put in the iPad information, I had to authorize with my current iTunes information, and any iPad or iPod, iPhone information. I have several people in the family that have different accounts, so I had to authorize each and every individual account because I didnt know which apps or music was purchased under which user.
