Just purchased Elements 13 and it wont register. S/N or Redemption code are incorrect.

Cannot register my new Photoshop elements 13. area for serial number/redemption code will not accept letters in the registration code in the package.

Update...I responded to the string of messages between me and Arunkumar last night. The program is now installed and running. I have another problem with opening and closing the program. I have to open it from the Launch Pad and when I try and close it from the bottom of my tool bar it will not close and only offers me the option of "Force Quit". There is a dividing line on the bottom of the tool bar where icons appear to open and close programs. My old version of Elements 9 appears on the right side of the line and when I open the new Elements 13 that icon appears on the left side with my other icons for Word, Excel, Preferences, Mail, Mozilla, iPhoto, Family Tree Maker...etc. I'm certain having to force quit the program isn't correct so what shall I do.

you need your serial number. you used your redemption number to redeem your serial number.
if you don't know your serial number, check the account used to purchase or register your pse 12, Adobe ID

I just purchased elements 13 and downloaded my photos from iPhoto (I have a new iMac) and

when I click on a photo it says it is a missing file and can't find it. any solution to this problem?

If all you are seeing is "Elements 13", please take another look. The program is designated Photoshop Elements 13 or Premiere Elements 13. Essentially the former is for photo editing and the latter is for video editing.
What you are aiming at is probably the Elements Organizer 13 which comes with these programs as I have described the situation in my post numbered 2. But, I cannot be sure that you are not trying to get photos from iPhotos by using Premiere Elements 13 Editor instead, with Add Media/"Photos from cameras or devices"/Adobe Premiere Elements - Photo Downloader".
And, if you do not have Premiere Elements in the first place, that possibility is out of consideration.
The answers will be in the details. And the troubleshooting rules in or out factors involved which are part of the problem description that you supply.

First of all check the software type . If its a Student version there wont be any serial number supplied to it .
So Adobe will genearate a new one after confirming your academic info .
If you found that its not a Student and teachers copy , then open the box and there would be Redemption code.

It seems that the root cause of the problem is that Adobe workflows is not compatible with the newest versions of AIR (2.0.0 and above)
This should be something that Adobe can fix quite easily. Its not a good first impression for Adobe customers to have a fresh install which seems to not work properly.
If any Adobe representatives read this, I hope this issue will be addressed and a solution provided to the wider Adobe community

You'll need to update to at least ACR 8.2 for the 70D to be recognized. The normal way to update PSE12 to the latest CR is to use Help / Updates in the Editor which should update to ACR 8.5.
According to Adobe's website PSE12 shipped with ACR 8.1 and you say it says yours is reported as ACR 8.0.
Are you using PSE 11 and not 12? PSE 11's maximum ACR version is 8.0.

Did you buy PSE in the mac app store? If not, just go to Help>Updates in the editor and update camera raw and you should be able to open the raw files in PSE 12 directly without the DNG converter.

Have you gone through the Adobe document on what is required in the transfer Adobe product license?

If you have gone through the above, then you may want to find out if the program was deactivated prior to you receiving it. A given serial number cannot be on any more than 2 computers of the owner recognized by Adobe.
What is the reason given you for "it wont allow me to add a new Adobe ID" when you try to put in your ID and password?

Yes. You can install v12 on as many machines as you like, but only two can be activated at any one time. You should not be using them concurrently.

If you have been using the mac.com Apple ID to make iTunes purchases recently, then there should be no issues continuing to use it with the new iPhone. I would abandon the new ID as you will never get Apple to merge the two IDs. I have had a mac.com ID for years and continue to use it with my iPhone 4S.
Tell us the issues that you encounter trying to set up the iPhone with the mac.com account.
