Just purchased ipad 2 yet itunes cant see the device. I have tried switching computer on and off and tried different usb ports and usb cables I am going mad here I thought this was supposed to be easy and fun, can anone help please
How can I get started please. I have plugged my usb cable into computer. I have the latests verision of Itunes but I cant even set up the ipad because itunes cant see the device

Let's double-check your AirPort settings on the MacBook ...
System Preferences > Network > AirPort
o Location: Automatic
o In the left column, verify that an AirPort option exists. If it does not, click "+" to create one. (Note: If you are unable to create an AirPort configuration, the AirPort card in your computer either doesn't exist or it is not recognized.)
o Verify that AirPort is "On." Click "Turn AirPort On" button if not.
o Ask to join new networks: (enabled)
o Show AirPort status in menu bar: (enabled)

o Remember any network this computer has joined: (enabled)

I have iMovie 08 and am trying to upload some of my son's guitar video to youtube. I go through all the upload steps then get slammed with the dreaded, "COMMUNICATION ERROR" message.
"An error occurred during communication with the server ("lost network connection")..." then the message tells me to see if I am still connected to the Internet. Of course I am.

My Iphone doesnt turn on after updating. It keeps on blinking the apple logo, after seeing the low battery image, i tried to charge the iphone. After charging for 30 minutes, it still wont turn on but keeps on blinking the apple logo. It has been blinking for 2 days. Then I tried to connect to itunes, but itunes cant recognize the device. What should I do?

You can only locate, lock or erase your device when it is logged into iCloud and 'Find My Phone' is enabled, additionally the device will need to be switched on and connected to a wifi or cellular network.
Unfortunately, you cannot activate iCloud or 'Find My Phone' remotely. -

I upgraded my iPhone 4 last evening to iOS 6, the upgrade completed and the device was usable. Then in the morning I went to the device to check E-mail, Voice Messages, Test Messages, etc... and the phone was dead. I tried plugging the device into a charger (for a couple of hours) - still dead. Plugged into computer with iTunes, device not recognized or discovered, and iPhone was still dead... Took the iPhone into an Apple Store and the Technician looked it over for any visible signs of defect/malfunction, then performed various tasks to breathe life into the phone - nothing... His suggestion, at this point, was to replace the phone. He speculated that the iOS upgrade possibly corrupted the iPhone's charging firmware, and that this device was now a BRICK. Keep in mind that the phone and it's charging abilities were perfectly fine prior to the iOS Upgrade. I hate to go through the replacement hassle and the cost ($159.00) when the iOS upgrade caused the problem. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Okay. I hope I can remeber all my steps exactly because I fixed my own problem...with absolutely no help from Apple. I opened itunes. I connected my ipod touch to my computer. On my itunes page that shows my songs in the upper right side under the search library box there is an itunes button and since I am connected there is an ipod button. DO NOT CLICK THE ARROW in the ipod button...just click in the mail part of the button. On mine it opened to a summary page that gave info on my ipod. The menu bar has Summary, Apps, Tones, Music and more. I clicked on the Music button. I chose to Sync the entire music library. That replaced what was on my ipod but what was on there was going to be put back on so I was okay with it. I then clicked the Sync button on the lower right side and it sync'd and all my songs are on my ipod again. I hope this might help someone else. Good luck.

My credit card that was associated with my itunes account was hacked and recently cancelled. I need to change to a new card. I added one in itunes and was able to make one purchase...now its blocking any new purchases. How do i reset this so it freaking works again?????

I have already purchased iWork bundle but cant add the programs to my recently wiped computer

My hard drive had an issue and was wiped clean by Apple a few days ago.
I want to reinstal iWork from my back up but it won't work.
The App Store only give me the option to purchase again.
Do i need to repurchase this software?If you originally purchased iWork '09 in a retail box or purchased the license electronically within one of the iWork apps, you will have to find the original disc or the e-mail with the license code. As of a minute ago you can still download the trial at this link. Note: clicking the link will automatically start the download. I have 2 iphones, 1 personal and 1 business. I thought I was supposed to have 2 separate itunes accounts. I now have a work ipad and want to only have 1 itunes account that I can use for all 3 devices. How do I cancel 1 account or just combine the 2?

Hi, I'm unable to see if I have any music/videos/photos on my ipad and itunes advise that I have 23gb of 'other' material therefore the sync is unable to perform when transfering music/videos to the ipad. I was forced to perform a restore earlier and now cant see the videos/music so want to replace. Pls assist, thanks
23 GB of other indicates a corrupt file(s). A restore should resolve.
