Just received new iPad2, cannot seem to connect to emails - it just stays on "Verifying", any suggestions please?
Can anyone help me get started with email connection (to ntlworld), I can actually get on to Safari and Apps but after numerous occassions of filling in my email account details and just reads "Verifying" for ages.
You can send over WiFi, but it sounds as if you need to setup your Gmail account, or did you do this already?

I am attempting to get Facetime on my new Mac Mini to connect to Facetime on my new iPad 32 G through my WiFi router. It rings on the iPad but after clicking on Accept, all it does is try to connect with no success. I have tried to reverse the order of the connection (iPad to the Mac Mini) but no success. The problem seems to be with the Mac Mini as I have been able to connect my iPad Facetime to my local authorized Apple dealer Facetime software both ways (i.e.I have connected with them and they have been able to connect with me.) I have copied my iTunes library onto a new computer, but when I play back the songs using the new computer, there seems to be random "miss" or "drop out" during play back, similar to a small scratch on a vinyl record. Although when I play the same song over again, the "miss" occurs in a different location during the song. No probs with old computer, just the new one. I'm onto my third new computer - same problem. Any suggestions please?
You don't say which version of iTunes you are using, but the symptoms you describe have been encountered by some users with the 64-bit version of iTunes 12.1.
There is an alternative version for 64-bit editions of Windows here:

that seems to address the most of the playback issues that some users have been reporting with the full 64-bit version of 12.1.0.77 - including problems with Bluetooth speakers where either sound is degraded or completely absent. The alternative installer here is the same architecture as most previous "64-bit" versions of iTunes, i.e., a 32-bit application with a 64-bit installer. The "for older video cards" label appears to be something of a misnomer as some people have reported that this corrects problems found on current / high-spec systems.
Some users have reported that after installing this alternative version it is necessary to adjust the "Play audio using" selection (normally to "Direct Sound" rather than "Windows Audio Session", though this may vary based on your audio hardware/drivers) in Edit > Preferences > Playback to restore glitch-free audio (one part of the reported symptoms is that the "Direct Sound" choice isn't available, usually in Windows 8). It may also be necessary to ensure that your Bluetooth speakers are active and selected as the default audio device before you run iTunes.
If this doesn't address the issue, you may want to think about reverting to iTunes 12.0 - see Turingtest2's notes on Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates for steps needed to completely remove all installed iTunes components, and for links to the 12.0 installers. -
I cannot seem to connect my iPod to my car media even though it says connected?
I cannot seem to connect my iPod to any Bluetooth device, including my iPad or car media.
Errors when updating leads to corrupt system files and this may be your problem. If you're using windows, connect your device to PC and run any third party app like Syncios. If it detects, you maybe in luck and try to back-up your data if possible. I hope that it won't and if doesn't, there is no other way to recover files. You should be restoring with iTunes and all data will be erased, or else your device may become unusable.

Try another wifi network. If it still doesn't work, try #2 and #3 in link below. If neither work, you most likely have a hardware issue.

Yes. you should keep your media in iTunes, and indeed you should also keep a backup of your library as well. if you have the device set up for manual management then the content would remain on it when deleted from the library, but you would have no way to restore the device if there was a problem.

I have Windows XP / bootcamp and can connect to the internet via Wi Fi (Apple Express) but when I try to open Int. Explorer I get a message "cannot connect" yet my computer is connected with a strong signal. I checked to make sure IE is not off line. Any suggestions please?

Try changing the channel in use in case you're getting interference.
If you have WEP enabled on the Internet Sharing it'ss worth disabling it whilst troubleshooting the connectivity issues.

Hi, I have a new iPhone 4 and i am having difficulty joining my wifi at home, at work it connects straight away but at home it won't recognise the airport connection and states could not access cellular data network. I have tried all the usual resetting network connections etc, any suggestions please?

For some reason this happens to some people. The one thing that works is to reboot your iPad. To reboot: Press and hold BOTH the power and home buttons at the SAME time for at least 10 seconds (ignore the red slider) until the Apple Logo appears, then let go of both buttons and your iPad wil restart. Once it's back up, I'm betting you'll see iBooks.
