Just reinstalled lightroom 5 from CC and the develop module is blocked and says I need to renew membership although I have an up to date photographers CC membership with photoshop CC and lightroom 5 - is there a simple way to reactivate the develop module

Does anyone know how to reactivate the develop module in Lightroom 5- I've just reinstalled it, restarted computer, signed in but keep getting the message - Develop module is disabled - Renew membership - although my CC membership is all up to date. I can import to the library etc just seems to be the Develop module- thanks for any help, T

I had two laptops stolen and the reinstall is a real pain. This also applies to reformats and changeovers to Windows 7, etcetera.

Windows 7? Then don't waste your life minutes fumbling with an Acrobat 8 - Windows 7 combination.
If you are to be using Win 7 you'll need the current release of Acrobat (XI). "X" will function but it is no longer marketed by Adobe.

I'm no Lion expert, but I believe you can boot from the Recovery partition by pressing the Command and R keys on startup, then reinstall.

There is currently no way to merge accounts. The best option is to pick one, and use it consistantly.

Yes there is. Those songs are not actually on your iPad. They are in iCloud ready for download if you choose to do so. If you want to remove them go to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Show All>Music>Off. You can also do this in Settings>Music>Show All Music>Off.

You should be able to use the OpenVPN Connect app running on your iPad to connect your iPad to the VPN directly. It is an official OpenVPN client for iOS devices.
In what way is it "not compatible"? Have you tried it? Tunnelblick is an OpenVPN client, so your school's VPN is using the OpenVPN protocol. That means any OpenVPN client should be able to access it. (It is possible, but unlikely, that your school uses encryption that is not available on the iPad, but that would be very unusual.)
Otherwise, a remote control app on your iPad would let you control your Mac at home. "Back to My Mac", for example, would allow you to control your Mac remotely. The tricky part of this is that usually a VPN is set up to send all Internet traffic via the VPN server, and I'm not sure how that would work with "Back to My Mac".

Yes, you do this when you export the images from the Library.
File -> Export
in the Size section, you don't need images larger than the frame size, so you can specify that and in the Jpeg Quality you can select the amount of compression used.

I'm not sure I would call disk authoring a 'simple' process. Unless it's a very basic disk, or course, with but a single timeline and no menus. But the kind of disk we're using to seeing from Hollywood is anything but simple to create, and so not so simple to explain.

Try contacting Apple through Express Lane (select your country, navigate to iCloud help and enter the serial number of one of your devices)
