Just restored to 3. Because once more I lost all my ReminderFox data during the upgrade. Not listed under tools . note to say not compatible with version 9. When will it be OK to upgrade to version 9 AND keep reminderfox intact?
Firstly, what do I have to do so that, when I upgrade FireFox, there is a restore point set? Do this manually? If so, alter your install procedure - a message to say - set a restore point now, because it won't be set automatically.
once more, after upgrading, my ReminderFox is gone. How can you do this? Offer something so good that becomes so important and then we lose it when we upgrade. I have installed 3.6 and my reminders are back! PLEASE let us know when you are releasing an upgrade that is compatible with ReminderFox

Did you change any AppleID accounts or anything? I've seen this happen when changing accounts or certain restore situations.
If you are using iCloud you should be able to reset your phone to Factory Defaults and restore from iCloud, but it always makes me nervous. -

I have all my music on an external hard drive. I just transferred all my files to a new hard drive . How do I sync all my files with my itunes library without losing all my playlists etc and keep everything intact?
Launch iTunes with the Option key held down, click on Choose Library, and specify it. If the external drive doesn't contain the iTunes database files, create a new library there and import that music.
If the library contains any rented movies, they won't play on a different computer.

Did you set up your phone to sync Contacts with iCloud? If not sure, you can log in to https://www.icloud.com and see if your contacts are there.

You will Not be able to get rid of it entirely...
Other is usually around 1 GB...
A ' Large Other ' usually indicates Corrupt Data...
First Try a Restore from Backup...
But... if the Large Other Persists, that is an Indicator of Corrupt Data in the Backup...
Then a Restore as New is the way to go...

Why is it, after I downloaded the new version of steve jobs, I lost all my highlighted placements in the book and whenever I tried to highlight something, it lags tremendously. Is there a reason for this?
And all placement in which I highlighted in previous version of the book, it directs me to a completely different page and sentence in which I highlighted previously. And the frustrating is, I can't delete the false highlight.

Your signature lists both, Mac and iOS device - are you asking about GarageBand on your Mac or your iPhone/iPad?
If you are asking about the upgrade from GarageBand '11 to GarageBand 10.0 on your Mac, the old GarageBand version should still be installed. The installer will have moved GarageBand '11 to a separate folder "GarageBand 6.0.5" in your Applications folder. Open this folder and click "GarageBand". Does this version still see your old projects? If not, type ".band" into the Spotlight searchfield in the upper right corner of your screen. Does that sfind your missing projects?
If you are asking about GarageBand on iPad/iPhone, there it is not possible to restore the previous version after you upgraded. And I do not see, how this upgrade could have deleted your projects. Have they completely vanished, or can you not open them any longer? If your projects have vanished, restore your device from your backup: See: iCloud: Backup and restore overview

iOS devices do backup automatically to iCloud providing:
iCloud Backup is turned on
It has a Wi-Fi connection
It is connected to a power source
The screen is off
5GB is plenty of storage for me to backup to iCloud automatically.
I have a 64GB iPhone & a 128GB iPad both backing up to the same iCloud account and I still have nearly 2GB free.
This is mainly because media is not backed up and Photo Stream & iTunes purchases do not count against your iCloud storage.
Here’s what iCloud backs up:
Purchase history for music, movies, TV shows, apps, and booksYour iCloud backup includes information about the content you have purchased, but not the purchased content itself. When you restore from an iCloud backup, your purchased content is automatically downloaded from the iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store. Thanks for replying so quick. I think before the update the apps were not in the library. Now after the update the apps are in the itunes libary minus the game data. I think that happened because I tried to find my game data. I search my pc and found a previous itunes libraries folder and when I used that I found a file I clicked on a file called itunes Library 2012-01-10 that opened in the itunes library. The date on that file was the date of the upgrade to 5.0.1. when I lost all my games data.
There is another file in the itunes libcalled iTunes Library 2011-03-16 would it be worth trying to download that as it may have more game data?
I ment to say the devices tab not table it is the option in the iTunes app to find out about your device. -
i got new iphone and when i connect it to my pc, it lost all my current data and replaced it with the backup on my computer, which is from april. so i have lost all my calendar information and schedule. does anyone know how i can reverse this and get my information back?
Every backup replaces the old one, so, unless you included the backup folder in your computer backup routine, you can't get back your calendar info.
The only time iTunes will not replace a backup is, when you use it to restore from, this one will stay in the backup list in iTunes.
