Just started having problems importing photos to LR?!

For no apparent reason, I developed problems importing images onto LR - everything was working just fine then..
Get a message:
"Some operations were not performed.
Could not copy a file to requested location"
It itemised every image I am trying to import
I thought I would upgrade to LR 4 and the problem would go away - it didn't!!
Ive seen posts about permissions...???

Hmmmm.
At the very least there must be a "com.apple.ical.plist"...iCal would not function without it.
Click on the Finder icon in the dock
Click on Go > Home
Double-click Library
Double-click Preferences
Look for a file called "com.apple.ical.plist" and remove it to the trash.

Just started having problem connecting ipod to windows xp

I have a ipod video 5th gen. Bought it about a month ago and has worked fine. I was able to charge and sync with itunes with no prob. Just recently when i connect the ipod with my usb cable, it comes up with an error saying "the usb device attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and windows dosent reconingze it". Now I cant can't sync with itunes, charge, nor does it show up in my computer. No changes have been made to my PC except for regular windows updates. Anyone have an answer or work around?

A friend recommended this and surprisingly I could watch the videos so apparently my issue is a Flash problem.
Try this test:
Try this, www.youtube.com/html5 and click 'Join the html5 trial' and see if you can watch videos then. If you can, it's a flash issue. If not, I have no idea.
If it's flash, I would upgrade FF to 5.0. I believe it uses built in flash, much like Chrome does.

Hi I have figured it out on my own just today coz what apple suggested didn't help much so I just have to do it by myself.
This is what you need to do:
open your computer and search for autoplay, it will open rightaway and then scroll down look for your device then change "ask everything" to "import photos and videos in windows" connect your ipad again then tthe import box will open.. and your good!

You might want to consider "voting with your feet" and taking your business to another bank. When they tell you the upgrade is the problem, it is really their problem and not yours. If you don't want to do that, the suggestion that you try another browser is absolutely correct.

I have backed up to icloud and iphoto, however, some of the pics are no longer on iphoto either. Is there someway to get the videos to play on my phone again? I really would love to have them back, this phone is supposed to be the best and right now it doesn't seem to be. Please help if you can.

I do not have access to my entire library, which includes song uploaded from CDs and some videos. As a result, I'm having problems uploading any new items from CDs or DVDs. iMessages. I have gone into settings and turned off iMessages for one minute then reactivated it. Then I turned off network settings and then back on again. Today I'll try and restore the phone again to see if that works. Frustrating!
