Just started MobileMe. Struggled with the setup of iCal but eventually got everything working fine for about a day. Then I started receiving an iCal error message stating that the URL was wrong. Of course, sync no longer works. What is correct URL?
Just signed up for MobileMe. Had a little difficulty setting up iCal but eventually got everything working. Whether posting to iCal on my Mac Book or iPhone, sync seemed to be working fine for about a day. Then suddenly when I opened iCal on my Mac Book, I would receive the following iCal error message:
"The calendar https://cal.me.com/calendar/calendar/principals/users/1.1117025442/ was not found on the server. Make sure the URL is correct." I know where it is located but because I did not enter the URL when I set up MobileMe/iCal, I don't know what the correct URL should be.

When I try to send e-mail I get an error message stating that the e-mail address was rejected by the server. When I send to e-mail from another address, I get back an error saying the e-mail address is unknown. My e-mail has worked fine for years until yesterday. HELP!
The specific text of the error message is very important here — I'm not sure exactly you're encountering here.
If you're able to connect to your email server and are able send email to other email addresses and if the failures are specific to one email recipient address, then please contact the intended recipient of the failing email, and confirm their address is valid. (This is the way I'm reading your question.)
If you are unable to send any email to any other email addresses and this is specific to your email address, then try the web mail client interface (if one is available) to verify your login user and password, and check with your email ISP for assistance. If your email password works via web mail, follow this Apple troubleshooting guide, then — if everything else fails — I'd probably then entirely remove the email account from Mail.app and re-add it per your email ISP's particular setup requirements. (Some issue with the setup or maybe a corrupt setting in OS X or a problem at the mail ISP servers is a common problem, but this effects attempts to send to all email addresses via that account.)
An email account setup is specific to an email provider, unfortunately. If you're using one of the more common email ISPs, then there are usually setup guides and frequently-asked questions posted online. -
I downloaded the latest operating system for my iPhone 5. It worked fine for about two minutes then the phone requested a password number to continue. Each time I inserted numbers, which were incorrect, the phone would lock up for a certain period of time. Now, it says “iPhone is Disabled”. It said to “Connect to iTunes” which I did, but iTunes does not recognize my phone. If I scroll the face to the right, it goes to the phone number face and says, "No Service". Can I do something to make the phone work?

Now when I plug in the device I receive an error message stating that the disk was not ejected properly & that next time I connect the 'disk', MAC OS X will attempt to repair any damage to the information on the disk.
It has not repaired.
The data I am trying to import is photos & even when I change to a different SD card I receive the same message.
I am a recent convert from Windows and am new to the MAC way of things.You can repair the SD card using Disk Utility.
I suggest you copy the photos from your SD card, if you haven't done so already, before using Disk Utility to repair your SD card. -
When opening the Coloursync utility and pressing the verify button, I received an error message (copy below) stating that the Tag 'cprt':Text tag has an incorrect length which could not be fixed as the file is locked. Does anyone know how to rectify this?

New to mac so I really don't know what to do.
I didn't get this message so far. What i did before getting this message was to open a jpeg file. I wanted to edit it so when i did right click on the file i went to open with, and colorsync came as an option; so i chose it.
Then this message started comming up.
Is there anything i can do?

As with the music, it just scrolls rapidly through my play list nut not playing any songs.....
I've had the same problems -- latest version of Mac OS and iTunes. Content plays on my iPhone, but I get the grey screen and message telling me to authorize. I even deauthorized the computer and reauthorized it to no avail.
And it is the right apple account. -
I downloaded Yosemite last night and tried to look at my photos in iPhoto and noticed that needed updating. When I tried to update as requested, I got an error message stating that the app (and several others including Pages and Numbers) couldn't be updated because they weren't purchased by the user ID I had entered. I'm the only user of the computer and now I can't find my photos anywhere! Any help would be appreciated.
ThanksSome folks have solved this issue by dragging the apps to an external disk, then disconnecting it, and then are able to download. Apparently it can arise if you upgraded from an OS the than Mavericks.
Failing that: Contact App Store support. There's a link on the right hand side of the App Store Window. They're the only ones who can sort out account issues. -
I bought the Keynote app for my MacBook, but when I open the application and try to install it, I get an error message saying that the application will not work with my MacBook. What gives? And, can I please request a refund? ($19.99 = a week's groceries).

Uninstall Keynote; this must be done with an application remover tool to delete the installation properly. Appcleaner is known to work correctly for this purpose, it is free and can be downloaded from here: Appcleaner Download

shutdown the Mac and restart. After the start up chime, hold down the shift key until the apple logo appears
let the Mac complete the start up procedure completely, it will take longer than usual as the hard drive is being repaired

Reinstall Keynote by logging into the Mac App Store using download / install -
Since I'd installed the new version of iTunes, iCal and Address book do not sync with my iPhone 3GS through iTunes anymore and I get an error message stating that iTunes can not sync with this iPhone. Was must i do to correct this issue and if i must, how dI reintall iTunes without loosing my content?

I have bought several tv seasons from the itunes store. Recently some episodes will not sync with my ipad. The error message is that the file "could not be read or written". Previous episodes of the same series synced successfully. Also while watching the same episode on my laptop (Mac Book Pro) it freezes.
I had this same message appear today when i was putting new music on my ipod touch 4th gen. The only difference is that I wasnt using an external drive. I was using the one on my computer. This is the first time i have had this problem

When trying to install an extension for InDesign CC 2014 I get an error message saying that the extension only works with version 7.0 or greater. My version is 10.0.0.7 x64 Build I was using this extension fine with InDesign CCError message with InDesign CC 2014

I am unable to sync all my selected songs to my iphone. The error message is that the computer is not authorized. However, I have authorized the computer and iTunes confirms that. Any ideas what can be done to fix this. My phone is an iPhone 4S.

My old laptop crashed, and took my iTunes account with it. I got a new laptop, and want to sync my iTouch to iTunes. It gives me an error message stating that I can't sync to multiple iTunes accounts, but I can't access my old one!
How can I get my new iTunes account to allow me to Sync my iTouch? The only option it gives me is to "transfer purchases" from my iTouch to iTunes, but that is only about 25% of my iTunes library-most of it is CDs I have uploaded. How can I Sync without losing all my music from my iTouch???
Also, I have lectures and photos, etc. on my iTouch that I don't want to lose.
I've tried a few of the iPod copy programs-the free ones and the ones you have to pay for, but I can't find one that will work for ALL my content on an iTouch.

my ipod classic got wet back in August.. it seemed to work fine for about a month, but recently is not working at all..screen appeared to get cloudy and then it just stopped working. thanks.
Most likely, water damage.
You can try putting your iPod in a tupperware, half filled (maybe half inch) with rice grains, close the cover for about a week.
If you have done this, as soon as it got wet, higher chances of success, now looks like the water moisture is getting to the LCD screen.
Then you can always bring it to Apple Genius bar, for a an overhaul. (may cost you half the price of a new iPod classic.)
