Just started today and having trouble deploying and browsing my website.

I am very confused about how to deploy my website. I created the solution in vs2013. I added it to my Visual studio online source control. Then linked to azure. When i click on publish this is what i see:

Every time i open firefox i need to give permission to do it. This just started today and has not happened before

i do not know what has happened but now the computer is asking for permission for firefox to make changes to the hard drive every time i open the browser. I have not changed my settings so what can i do to fix it? I have tried it with 3.6.3 and 3.6.4 same problem

Check that you do not run Firefox as Administrator.
Right-click the Firefox desktop shortcut and choose "Properties".
In the Compatibility tab, make sure that Privilege Level: "Run this program as Administrator" is not selected.
You also need to check the Properties of the firefox.exe program in the Firefox program directory.
If you can't make the changes then you need to start Windows Explorer as Administrator.

I click on my mobile me mail and the site "find my iphone comes up"; This happens even when I type in mobile me in the browser window! Only on firefox - not safari. What the heck? This just started today - and won't reverse!

I'm getting a persistent "JavaScript Application" popup notice that is difficult to close. The problem just started today, and I can't seem to fix it. Any suggestions?

The offending popup reads:

(yellow triangle with an exclamation point) followed by the words "uninstal set"
Note: the spelling of uninstall is as shown above.

Other users have reported that this is caused by one of their add-ons. I suggest going to the Add-ons page and disabling everything in the Extensions category that is not essential, and then restarting Firefox. Hopefully it's not caused by something you really rely on.

Firefox crashes before it can be open, just started today and have no idea how to fix it.

Open Console in Utilities & see if there are any clues or repeating messages when this happens.

I am not amused with the pac-man music. I spent the entire trying to find a virus on my computer. I might have tolerated this as an April Fool's joke, but this "celebration" was completely unnecessary!
And to others trying to fix the problem ... I just uninstalled Cool Previews and that did the trick. No more bat-shit-crazy pac-man music.

If its a MBA with solid state drive then I would guess its the fan touching something ???. I think it have no other moving parts.

Having trouble deploying .ear file

I am having trouble deploying a .ear file in WLS 7.0. The only way that I have found to work every time is by following these steps:
1. Shutdown the server (if it is running)
2. Move the ear into the applications directory
3. Change the extension of the ear file (to .old).
4. Start WLS 7.0
5. After startup completes, change the filename back to the .ear extension.
Simply dragging the ear into the applications directory after startup works sometimes. Other times, the server does not do anything...it seems to not realize that the file was moved.
Starting the server with the ear already in the applications directory (with the .ear extension) never works. In this case, a "javax.naming.NameNotFoundException" is thrown when trying to resolve the datasource name. Could this be a race condition?
Any help is appreciated.

As a quick workaround, can you consider merging that 3rd party
references into a simple, let's call it 3rdparty.jar, file. Then you
will be able to overcome this line limit. If you use ANT, it can be
made a part of the build process and can simplify future additions.

as of 6.1sp3.

Hi Jeff: thanks for getting back to me. My daughter was downloading
components but had downloaded the free demo last night. She
uninstalled what she thought was the demo but now we are unable to
access the Premier Pro component and no icon is present on the screenor
otherwise. This is our first time with a Mac so maybe we just don't
know where it is but are at a loss right now. Thinking I should
cancel my product purchase and then start from scratch if there is no
easy solution.

When I load Safari on my IPAD2, the web page comes up, but I can't scroll down the page. No matter what web page I go to the content stays darker than the navigation bar. This just started today. All other applications work fine.

If it's happening on all sites, then assuming that it's Safari that you're using, have you tried clearing it's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cache (other browsers should have similar options, possibly within the actual app instead of within Settings). You could also try closing the app completely : from the home screen double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app (or whichever browser you're using) to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
If it's only happening on a particular site then there may be content on that site that isn't supported on the iPad e.g. flash, java, silverlight

AirPort Express (first Generation) doesn't get recognized with latest Itunes. (everything has the latest updates). This is on WIndows 7. Just started today after getting latest Itunes Version.

I am sure this has been addressed, but I will ask again, and then start sifting through prior posts.
I have Windows 7, AirPort Express (First Generation), and the latest Itunes (11, I believe). All updates are current on the both the Itunes and AirPort Express. All of a sudden today, when wanting to play music off of Itunes (it does show that I have both outlets checked and in blue [my computer & airport]) after about a minute it displays a statement saying "The Network Connection Timed Out". And then finally plays on my computer. This just started today. It has always worked, and now, not sure what to do. I have unplugged and plugged back both the airport express and my router.
Any help would be so much appreciated. This is truly why I hesitate to get the newest version of Itunes. There always seems to be an issue. Anyway...HELP!

A bizarre update.
Decided to use the XP VM to handle the iPhone and it was downloading the latest update when it failed.
At that point Windows 7 iTunes popped up to say it had found an iPhone in recovery mode. I let it try a restore which also failed (VM couldn't complete the restore either).
Plugged the iPhone back in to my old PC to complete recovery and restore and then plugged it back in to the Windows 7 PC - which now can't see the iPhone!!
So it detected it when in recovery mode but not when it was functioning normally.
Are older versions of iTunes available to allow the backout of 10.4 which just seems so flaky on 64 bit Windows 7?
