Do you understand what the <servlet-mapping> declaration in the web.xml means? It is roughly just saying the appserver that it should port all requests on /Serv1 to the mentioned servlet.
a couple others like/ch1/WEB-INF/classes/Ch1Servlet.class and /ch1/WEB-INF/web.xml. The WEB-INF folder is not public accessible, so forget about that part.
"Resource not found" simply means that either the URL is wrong (case counts!) or that the resource is actually not there. I.e. not compiled, not deployed, not loaded, etcetera. Reading the appserver's startup logs might also help.

I don't use Facebook, but I can say that clearing the cache every time you shut down is excessive - unless you're sure the cache is corrupt you should leave it alone. It exists to speed up your browsing experience by loading frequently requested items from your drive rather than downloading them fresh from the internet each time. So, I would say stop clearing your cache and see what happens.
As for clearing cookies: I'm not sure what method you currently use, but I would recommend you download and install CCleaner. It's free, and allows you to build up a list of cookies that you want to clear and those you want to keep, before deleting them.
Both of these may help speed things up by reducing the amount of work Safari has to perform whilst browsing. Regardless, I'd say that, unless there's a reason you've not mentioned for performing the "purging" that you do, making these two changes should see improvements in general web browsing if not specifically when loading Facebook.

Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before (re)installing a fresh copy of the current Firefox release.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

Uninstall your current Firefox version, if possible, to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.

You restored your iPhone with iTunes from the backup for your iPod Touch?
If so, photos/videos that were in your iPhone's Camera Roll should have been imported by your computer before doing this. You could then transfer these photos/videos back to your iPhone via the iTunes sync process.

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer

Im using Muse whichj crashes like you would not beleive, but after much perseverance I got a basic 4 page holding site together, I tested the site and it all looked fine, when I uploaded it to the server it looks nothing like the site I tested, to the point that even the background has changed colour and nothing is in the rite place.

Okay so I just got a new MacBook and I'm setting it up. I decided to not download all of my files to iCloud drive and its taking forever to load to the next page. Is this normal for it to take so long? After all I didn't even download my stuff?

why is it taking forever to load!?

The files you are loading into the new computer are by wi-fi? If you have no other option
that may be OK but slow. A faster method would be Ethernet cable from internet router
or modem, instead of wireless. Most of the setup process can take some time.
What are these files? Where are they now?
Do you have a backup on-site, & not online?
Did you check to see if the operating system was updated as part of the setup before use?
The Software Update can locate later parts to the as-shipped system, that may be needed.
Other upgrades or new apps are through the Mac App Store, some through App Store, etc.
As part of the setup, you could use a migration assistant if you have a backup from the old
computer or have other files saved in an external hard drive to import.
Hopefully your process won't be drawn out too long...

I think it does work as described, but the description is not very complete. Capitalization does not change any of the characters that you type; what it does is allow some of the lower case characters to display as capitals. If you copy the result and paste it as plain text, you'll see that the lower case characters are still there. It doesn't actually say anywhere that it can make capitals display as lower case, and it can't.
The obvious way around this is to actually type what you want.
The more powerful way is to install WordService from Devon Technologies which adds the functionality of Pages' capitalization menu as well a lot of other ones. WordService actually changes the character to the one displayed, and it works in most of the applications on your Mac.

Problem accessing just one web site. No other site...

I am having problems today connecting to just one website which I use daily.
I get the "internet explorer can not display the webpage" message and the dropdown gives the usual possibilities.
If I put the web address into "isitdownforeveryone or just me" then that reports the site up and running.
I cleared all temp files/cookies, ran a full disk clean and cleaned all in IE that was cleanable. I did the ipconfig /flush DNS command and netstop and net start DNS cache commands and still no joy.
While I kept trying I accidently clicked on the "diagnose problems" on IE failed to display page message and that said something like that "the host server at address 290.xxx.xxx etc had been found but fails to respond when pinged" and that resetting the network can fix problems. I then reset the BT Home Hub and low and behold I had instant access to the problem site. That was OK for the rest of the time the PC was on.
This evening it has done exactly the same (just this one particular site down) and yet resetting the router has again fixed the issue.
Why is this happening all of a sudden and why just seemingly one site affected ? Is it something I should contact BT over ?
I run Vista and IE9.

I haven't tried another browser (I like IE and didn't want to install something I don't really want) but I could do to aid trobleshooting if needed (I use Acronis so can roll back).
Anyhow after all the trouble yesterday I unplugged the HH rather than doing a "soft" reset via the button. The site that was problematic is at the moment OK.
If a site is unobtainable for whatever reason why does a reset of the HH "find" a path to the site only for it to fail again.
I see others have had similar issues although Bing.com is one I do use and that has been fine for me.
Whether this is related or not I have no idea but after all the resetting of the HH i thought I would just try Speedtest.net to make sure my line profile hadn't suffered. The "ping" value was a little higher than normal but what was was odd was that the server automatically chosen to run the test was at the other end of the country rather than more local ones.

East/West Arrows not appearing on just one web site?

When in a certain financial site only [Optionsxpress.com], there is no arrows appearing at the bottom to move in the east/west direction to navigate the screen, all other web sites ok, When I tried it on Internet Explorer it was ok, I prefer to use firefox at all times. please help

Limit user role to edit just specific web sites

Hi,
can I limit a user role in a way, that this user can edit only chosen web sites and not all? And can I even let user only edit certain region on specific sites?
Like editing content but not headings?
UPDATE: I found that this can be done by using content holders? By giving the client only access to specific content holders, and inserting those at certain positions on a site limits the possibilties of editing.

Not to that level no. You can assign approcal roles to things so they wont render live till approved like on pages but this can not be set to specifics in the way you are looking at.

I'm pretty well versed in Dreamweaver and XHTML, enough to know that there are 'behaviors' that can be enlisted in Dreamweaver to produce various 'effects' with menus. I wasn't sure, as I have never seen, if there is a 'behavior' that can be brought in to Dreamweaver to make images behave like this.
Okay, that I now know it's not going to be something that is a part of Lightroom's capablities, I think I'll jump over to the Dreamweaver site and explore what they have to say on this.

I keep getting sent to weird web sites I have never asked for and dont recognize. Is this a Firefox issue or a Google issue or a gremlin issue? It has recently gotten much worse; sometimes I cant back out of it and have to restart everything.
