Just updated and restored ipad but the ipad stays on the same screen??
well i just updated and restored my ipad and on the ipad it says connect to itunes so i did that and it backed up and synced like a billion times but the ipad screen just stays the same saying to connect to itunes with that picture of the usb thingy with an arrow blah blah
did i do something wrong :/?

I feel this way because i have an ipad. It had a passcode and now i seem to have forgotten it. I wanted to restore it but it wants me to update to IOS 7.0.4 and i dont like IOS 7.0.4 so i have IOS 6.1.3 and i like it cause IOS 7.0.4 is very bright i cant seem to be able to see in it proper. when i turn the brightness low i cant see anything it becomes too dark. Can you give itunes the capability of asking us if we want to update and restore or just restore but keep the firmware/IOS you are on.
You seem to think you are talking to Omnifocus here. The odds of actually reaching them here are practically 0%, I would guess.

I just updated my personal website but I can't see the changes, other people can tho.
My web designer just updated my personal website: resume and photo's. I cannot see the updates tho, the same old site keeps coming up.
He can see it fine and sent me a screenshot even.

I have some pictures that were downloaded from some emails. I was on AOL thru Firefox, when there was an upgrade. Allowed the upgrade & restarted. When I went back thru Firefox onto Yahoo.com to my mail site and then opened pictures it started going to somewhere that starts with: http://us.mc1801.mail.yahoo.com/mc/welcome?.partner
It just keeps circling a green arrow like it is trying to load but nothing happens. I have tried several restarts and it does the same thing. As I type this the green arrow is still working. can't restore apple id , because apple were blocked for security reasons, but to restore the need to enter the key two- step werification . after typing it , apple sends a 4-digit code on the ipad , but at ipad I am not connected to icloud ,so i cant get code . but if i want to recover apple id, i need to connect icloud, so what to do? help !
I have (sorry forgot to add that). I was switched around and finally I was told I would be put through to a supervisor but after being on hold for about 10 minutes the phone went dead, I did not lose connection so I do not know if I was hung up on or there was some technical difficulty. I called again yesterday and did in fact speak with a supervisor for Account Security but he told me he did not know why it was happening and put me through to a different number but that ended up not being any helpful either. That's when I decided to give it a shot on here!

I blocked my ipad and then tried to use find my iphone to restore it but my ipad wasn't connected to the internet so it didn't work. Now it wont restore using Itunes either. How can I fix it because nothing works?!

I tried to put ios 7 on my ipad 2 but then it took me to recovery mode then I got the new itune and tried to restore it but then it stops in the middle
Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button.
5. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad. Data will be lost. -
After updating my ipad to ios7 it is on recovery mode. Then I tried to reboot it and it shows an image to connect to iTunes. I tried to connect to iTunes and restore it but it says ipad could not be restored and an error occurred. What can I do now???

I downloaded ios 5 after backing up my ipad on the computer. Now there are no apps or movies on my ipad. They are on the computer in itunes but sync and restore do not put them back on the ipad. ideas?
iOS 7 devices need iTunes 11.1 or newer to sync. Depending upon your computer and the OS it is running, you may not be able to upgrade to iTunes 11.1 based on the requirements for iTunes 11.1. What computer and OS are you running your iTunes on? From the iTunes download pages I see the requiorements are:

I just updated to iOS 8 on my iPad 2 and due to a unforeseen error on iTunes I had to do factory reset. I was using my friend's iMac iTunes to download and update, instead of OTA. Now I'm unable to see my previously purchased apps (some even discontinued that I was hanging on to as they still kind of worked)... Even after I logged into App store on my iPad (tried restoring iCloud and iTunes but no luck, somehow there isn't any backup)! I checked my App Store updates/purchases and see nothing. A forum suggested I try buying it anyway and it will say I already have it and not double charge, but I don't want to take that chance as most of these apps are over $4. I have receipts for all my purchases. Please help!
When you do an update via a computer's iTunes the update process will backup the device (a backup doesn't contain the actual apps, just their content/settings), wipe the device, install the update, and then restore the backup - the restore would look to pick up your apps, music, films etc from the iTunes library.
You've tried logging out (tap on your id at the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app) and back in and seeing if they then show in the Purchased tab, and you could also check to see if the apps are hidden from Purchased : iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases.
If an app is no longer in the store then you won't be able to redownload it. You haven't got copies of your apps in your own computer's iTunes library and/or on your backup of your downloads/library ? -
I have done a back up, update and restore. It's no better. Just a black screen with a fuzz line through it. I have an appointment with apple tomorrow, but hoped I could fix this issue myself.

You will need to restore it. The sidebar of your iPad appears on itunes even if you dont enter the passcode. There's the option to restore it. More info:
