Just updated atv3 software to 5.3 and cant see any app

Hi
i just updated my ATV3 to sof 5.3 and I don't see any apps. I only see Apple events, Qello, Crunchyroll but apps like youtube or trailers are missing. Also i dont see the icon to watch movies or tv shows.
I configured my network (i can see other computers libraries) and my apple account.
Any idea what's wrong?

I fixed it!!
While not connected to any USB cable I put the iPad in recovery mode.
To do that turn the iPad completely off. Press and hold the home button while turning the iPad on, once you see the apple logo release the home button.
Turn on your OS X mac after it boots up connect the USB from iPod to Mac. iTunes should start. If not launch itunes.
Perform the factory restore process paying attention to all of the screen message windows. Then set up the ipad like it was new.

I did a restore from backup but that did not change anything.
I can see my apps in iTunes - it is like the update got some apps but not all, no contacts.
Total waste of my Friday.

I got my contacts back by doing another restore! Relief..
But only a very few odd apps are showing up on the 3GS

If you have failed to make sure that any apps purchased on the iphone were transferred to your computer before updating, then you will have to redownload.
Open itunes store, click Purchased, under Quick Links.

When publishing from Lightroom to Facebook, you are always sending them to an album. Lightroom doesn't generate you posts though. Generally Facebook is smart enough to create just one post for all of your images published to a single album. If you are getting individual posts per photo there isn't anything you can do from Lightroom's side to change that. Try refreshing you page your newsfeed or timeline to verify whether individual posts are being created or if it's just a timing issue.
Also, uploading images to Facebook will always result in your file having a different file name on the server and in the page code. No avoiding this, no matter your method of upload.

Go to Settings > General > Restrictions
Chances are Safari is turned off. Turn it on and you'll have it back.
To delete apps:
Double tap your home button. You'll see the open app icons on the bottom and above each icon a preview page of the open app. With your finger swipe the preview page upwards and the app will close.
EDIT: I misread your last question. The above closes apps, but doesn't delete them. To delete an App, hold your finger on the app until it jiggles. You should see an X on the App. Touch the X and the app should delete.

I just updated the software on my iPad and now I cannot update my Aps or install new ones. I ran a diagnostic and that resulted in "power issue." It wouldn't let me select what my options were. Any ideas?

Don't know where to get help. I just updated the software and I am having issues with not being able to update Aps or install new ones. The circles just spin and Aps just say "waiting." I tried running a diagnostic with the apple store and it came back with "power issues" (?) as a result. Thank you for your reply, I did go to my general settings, but for some odd reason I don't have a restrictions setting, or a reset setting. I thought I could reset all the setting to see if it could be that, but as I said there aren't any.
My husband also has the iPad 2, and also did the software update and hasn't had any problems at all. I took both iPad's and compared the settings thinking maybe there could be a setting that could have been changed when the update was done.

You cannot update iPhone 4 to IOS 8.1.2, the highest you can update is IOS 7.1.2.
Unless you've iPhone 4S (looks similar to iPhone 4)

The iTunes app can't be deleted. It was either restricted or moved to another home screen page"
Settings > General > Restrictions > (Allow) iTunes > ON
If you still don't see it:
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout

I get a sim card not supported just after I have upgraded to the latest software offer by apple for my Iphone. It is requesting my to insert the sim card that came and I am afrid that may not be possible now. I have it it the card that was use earlier before the upgrade.

That indicates yourphone was hacked to unlock it before you upgraded. It has either now (best case) re-locked to the carrier it was originally locked to, or (worst case) become a brick.
