I just updated the cyper on my iphone 3 now the phone switches on but only the apple sign is showing will not start up
What is "cypher"?
Has basic troubleshooting been tried? This includes reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new).

i just got a iphone 3G. i plugged my phone up to itunes last nightt and it locked it. on the front screen it says plug into itunes and i can only make emergency calls. i put my sim card in there and it said no service. what do i need to do to unlock my phone????
Ask the Verizon store to exchange your iPhone for a different iPhone 4.

II've just got an iphone 6 and set it up using my iCloud backup . Everything has restored perfectly except I've only got 2 of my music albums what has happened to the rest
IIf you purchased them from iTunes then the missing albums May be in itunes on your computer. Make sure they are selected in the Music TSB and sync your iPhone. If you purchased them on your iPhone you can download them again. if you copied the missing albums from CDs that you own you should find the albums in your iTunes library.

Are you unable to access the Internet via wifi, or cellular? What troubleshooting have you done. Check the manual for the troubleshooting proceedures, power off/on, reset, restore. http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/iphone_user_guide.pdf

I have an iPhone 4 that I just updated today to ios 6, now when I go to back up the phone to my PC, it says it can't because I don't have the latest version of iTunes. But i have iTunes 10. Please advise.
There is an updated version number 10.7.0.21 that is available if you go to the iTunes link here on Apple.com. It won't show up under Apple Software Update and if you check for updates via iTunes it likely won't show either.

installed the ios 7.0.2 update to my iphone 4, now it is stuck on a screen with itunes icon and power plug.

You need iTunes 10.0 or greater to update your phone...iTunes isn't confused at all. If you're on a Mac, you'll need OS X 10.5.8 or greater to update iTunes to 10.0 or greater.

Thank you for your reply, I did go to my general settings, but for some odd reason I don't have a restrictions setting, or a reset setting. I thought I could reset all the setting to see if it could be that, but as I said there aren't any.
My husband also has the iPad 2, and also did the software update and hasn't had any problems at all. I took both iPad's and compared the settings thinking maybe there could be a setting that could have been changed when the update was done. -

What have you done so far to try to fix it? I've tried rebooting several times and it did not work. Tried connecting to iTines but it does not recognize the iPhone.
My other iPhone 4s restarted successfully after the updgrade but some apps don't function properly. It automatically closes while in use.
Apple please help. I know it's the weekend but I need the other iPhone to work. Can't use sim with a diffrent phone because it's a micro sim!

How do i unzip a pages.zip file?
