Just updated my iPhone 4S to iOS 6.1.1 and now I'm unable to connect to iTunes store
After running the update from iOS 6.1 to 6.1.1 on my iPhone 4S, I cannot connect to the iTunes store using the App Store or iTunes icons.....any suggestions?

You will need to purchase the upgrade CD for 10.6 from the Apple Online store, OR you can likely get one at an Apple Retail Store. It is the last version that was available on CD. After 10.6, the upgrades are available in the Mac App Store.

Close iTunes, re-boot your computer, then make sure all Anti-Virus software & Firewalls are turned off. Then force the phone into recovery mode, as described here, & restore it:

I just updated my iphone 4 to IOS 7.0.4 and it gets stuck backing up on step 2 of 7 and sometimes says step 2 of 4. I've got 2.09 GB free and ive reset it and still wont back up. It also says my phone has never been backed up to the computer, but ive been doing it for 2 years on it. My Ipad 2 also was getting stuck on step 2.

I updated it from iOS 6.0.2 I think so I skipped 6.1. Is this a possible reason (tho I doubt it)?

i have the same problem.and i found out, if my iphone vibrates,there is a new message, but its not shown.
if i restart my iphone after these vibrations, the new messages appear.very strange.
i hope Apple will fix this problem soon. -

To expand on Rudegar's comment, often, updating a jailbroken or hacked phone will permanently brick the phone.
If your phone was jailbroken or hacked to unlock it, it is now most likely completely useless. -

Now, my iphone 4s does not sound form the speaker and the volume button up and down also does not work.I could hear the sound through the earphone. Also the airplay disapear. Please advice how to downgrade to the previous OS
Please try going to your settings area of your display. Click on General and go to 'reset all settings'

I updated my iphone 4S with iOS 6.1.3 and now I cannot retreive or send my e-mails. We have an Exchange server at work. I still receive the e-mails on all my devices just fine and I can see the subject headings & a small portion of the body of the e-mail, but when I open the e-mails there is no body and it reads, "This message has not been downloaded from the server". Very aggrevating and is not helping my business at ALL!! Same has happened with both iPads we own now.
Delete then add back the exchange acct on each device.

I updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 7.0.6 and now I cannot use text/phone services. When attempting to access either service from the primary display the screen whites out and freezes up. Settings>Phone allows me to interface with my preference howevver tapping on Settings>Messages (or Settings>Facetime) causes the Settings function to lock up. I have to back out of Settings entirely and restart. This is seriously agrivating.
I would do a full restore in iTunes using your last backup.

Place the iPod in Recovery Mode and restore via iTunes.

If you are implying that you've never synced and backed up the device, well that is simply not smart.
User's can backup their iOS devices at any time by connecting to iTunes and selecting the backup option from the Summary tab or by backing up to iCloud.
Most people will regularly backup their devices and transfer iTunes purchases to iTunes on the computer for safekeeping.
Basically, you are stating that the device has not been used as designed and now data has been lost. Sorry, that's just too bad. But at least now you know how to prevent this in the future.
