Just Updated to Itunes 10 and.....
all my old content no longer streams. I had used handbrake to make apple tv compatible movies form my collection and they no longer work. My original apple tv is now useless. Any one else having trouble with this?
Nothing surprises me anymore.
Anything about the video encodes that didn't fit into the Apple supported specs? The Handbrake devs have frequently tried to push the enevlope with some pararmeters (eg CABAC) that were not officially supported - it's possible file checking is stricter in the new iTunes.
I hope this is not a widespread problem and you find a solution, otherwise you may need to go back to an earlier itunes version.
There are many issues posted over in the iTunes discussions at present such as NAS iTunes servers no longer working, pixellated videos, sync issues with iPhones....

Windows XPI have the same problem. Our song and cash credits disappeared when my husband and I each upgraded to v7 last night. I haven't had much time to look into the problem, yet.

I just updated to Itunes 10 and now when I drag a podcast to play on my 3rd Generation Ipod Shuffle, the podcasts won't play as as part of the music list. I know you must add the podcasts manually by dragging them and dropping. I did do that. I know that you can only use the Ipod in order not random. So, it must be a problem with the new software?

I have just updated to itunes 11 and when I plugged in my ipod classic it locked up. When I tried again it said my ipod was corrupt and advised I reset it. I reluctantly did this as I lost all my music and now itunes just locks up when I plug in my ipod.
Not if you first do a sync and have iTunes make a backup. However, if your only copy of the iTunes data is in the Touch, then you need to first copy the data to a new iTunes Library using third-party software such as Phone To Mac.

Maybe, try troubleshooting. For me, just unplugging my iPod & plugging it back in helped.

Just updated to IOS 7 and two issues:
First when I connect my iPhone to my computer I get this error message:itunes was unable to provider data from sync services". I'm not sure what this really means...
The second issue is when I try to select "Manually Manage Music"
The iPhone "My iPhone" is synced with another iTunes libary on "MY-PC". Do you want to erase this iPhone and sync with this iTunes library? An iPhone can be synced with only one iTunes library at a time. Erasing and syncing replaces the contents of this iPhone with the contents of this iTunes library."
So... I don't want to do that, but I do what to be able to Manage my music. I'm not sure what it means by being synced to another iTunes unless it means to an older version of itunes?
Anyone have any ideas?I cannot address the sync services error right now, but the error that you receive when you change from sync to manually manage music is what happens when you change. Once you change to manually manage music, it erases all of the music and will only put the music that you want on the phone, content that you manually drag over to it. I have just updated my iTunes to 11.1.3. I followed all correct steps, restarted my computer etc but now I cannot open iTunes not matter what I try and do.
Very frustrating. Have read the trouble shooting info on Apple website but nothing has worked.
Someone please help. I cannot access any of my music.Open Finder. Go to the "Go" menu in the menu bar. Press and hold Control and click on Library. Go to "Preferences". Find a file named, "com.apple.iTunes.plist" and delete that file. This won't delete your iTunes content. It will reset iTunes. Try it again.

I just updated to itunes 10.3 & iOS 6.1 and I cannot download a song to my library! I get the error "This computer is already associated with an Apple ID. You can download past purchases on the computer with just one apple ID every 90 days. This computer can be used with a different Apple ID in 75 days." WHAT??
I've never had problems before - my husband and I have used the same library for years. My daughter also has her own Apple ID... are we going to have trouble with that, too? Actually we have 4 Apple IDs - somewhere around 8 Apple devices... this is a huge issue for us... HELPJust to be clear - I just bought a new song and can't download it into the library because of this error message.

I just updated my iTunes, and I need to delete photos from my iPod 4, and there is a Photo Library that synced to my iPod when i plugged it into my computer, and now it doesnt have the option to delete them off my iPod. How do I get rid of these photos? I have read other questions that say to plug the iPod into the computer and like un-sync it, but I downloaded the new iTunes and it doesnt have a photos tab. Does anyone know how to solve my problem? Please and Thank You, Megan!

I just updated my iTunes on 12-7-2012 and I do not like the newer version.....can I go back to the earlier version?? This new version does not have the iTunes DJ nor does is show at the bottom as in the earlier version how many songs and the size of my library.
To do this in iMovie 11. use the SHARE menu. Share your project using the Share menu and choose Export Using QuickTime.
In the Dialog box that comes up, choose Sound to AIFF, or one of the other sound options. This will create a file that you can drag into iTubes. -
What to do?? - I just updated my iTunes to ver 11.2.1 because of the annoying messages they keep sending out.
Now I can't play the movies and TV series I've purchased and were watchable before.
Comes up with "This movie can be played only on displays that support HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection)."
The cheek of the matter is everytime I tried to get Apple support it comes up with a request for me to pay $54 for their support package, to fix a problem I didn't have until I complied to one of their update requests.
End of Rant!!! - Anyone know how to fix please?Well, I wonder about all the responses...:)
Anyhow, I wound up "fixing" the problem by using the System Restore disks for the Mini. It's now running Tiger 10.4.11 (with all updates) and I copied my iTunes library over. It all works now. <shrug> I have no idea what the problem was, and I'm a bit leery of upgrading it to Leopard, so I think I'll just leave well enough alone.

I just updated my iTunes to the new software. When I plugged it into my computer and it said I need to reset my iPod. I did this and everything on my iPod deleted. Now, it won't let me sync my music or apps back onto my iPod. What do I do?
It doesn't say anything. It runs through the sync process like normal and tells me all of the songs that it's synking. But then when it says I can disconnect it, nothing actually synked.
