Just updated to latest OS and phone is frozen after reboot
Hi, I initiated an install of the latest OS for my z10 via the phone itself (though the check for updates menu). It appeared to successfully install and then it asked me to reboot I think, or it did automatically, and now it's stuck on a screen with the BB Icon surrounded by a round cornered square ( I think it does this during boot up normally). if I hold my finder on the icon, it says 100%, but apart from that, nothing seems to work. I had it on like this for 30-60m, and I've done a battery pull, and it reboots back to that same spot.
I plug it into the computer and Link doesn't see it as connected nor does my computer seem to detect it at all. Any idea on how I can fix this? I didn't do a backup right before this unfortunately, so I don't want to try and wipe and reinstall if I can help it, and of course, I leave for vacation on Friday

I have the same issue. I found that after a couple of battery pulls, it would start up, though I'm now finding that I can't make or receive calls. You may want to check out this kb article on what appears to possibly be the source of the problem. I won't be able to try their workaround until I get back to my home PC later tonight.

Reset the device:

Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type this exactly as you see it here:

Click Go
Move the com.apple.PrinterPrefs.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Trash.
Restart your Mac, restart the printer... -
i just updated my latest java but the update is causing problems with some external devices. So i would like to uninstall this latest java update and get back the previous one. That should solve to problems with my external device.
Is this possible and how do i do that?

Message was edited by HostJava 6 you can't as Apple maintains it, and Java 7 you could if you uninstall it and Oracle provides the earlier version which they likely won't his last update fixed 37 remote exploits.
Java broken some software here and there, all you'll have to do is wait for a update from the other parties. -

Updates are meant to improve your device rngen. I am sorry to hear of the difficulites you are experiencing after you updated your device. So that we can troubleshoot correctly, can you please provide us with the model iPhone you have? After your phone completed the update, did you reset the network settings? To reset network settings click, settings>general>reset>reset network settings.

You are going to have to download and install iTunes on the computer. Your iPhone is in recovery mode. See this support document for help with that. If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Just updated to IOS 7 and two issues:
First when I connect my iPhone to my computer I get this error message:itunes was unable to provider data from sync services". I'm not sure what this really means...
The second issue is when I try to select "Manually Manage Music"
The iPhone "My iPhone" is synced with another iTunes libary on "MY-PC". Do you want to erase this iPhone and sync with this iTunes library? An iPhone can be synced with only one iTunes library at a time. Erasing and syncing replaces the contents of this iPhone with the contents of this iTunes library."
So... I don't want to do that, but I do what to be able to Manage my music. I'm not sure what it means by being synced to another iTunes unless it means to an older version of itunes?
Anyone have any ideas?I cannot address the sync services error right now, but the error that you receive when you change from sync to manually manage music is what happens when you change. Once you change to manually manage music, it erases all of the music and will only put the music that you want on the phone, content that you manually drag over to it. Just upgraded to latest iOS and my iPad does not come back up - the following appeared as the first thing after turning back on. It displays a line from the power/USB connector to an iTunes logo and then goes off and after some minutes comes back on. I cannot reset it or anything else. It is completely non-functional.

Hi all,
I just updated to 2.1 and my phone is constantly rebooting (8 times in the last 5 minutes). Is this just me, or is anyone else seeing this?
I am currently in a building with very poor phone service, so that may be related (it just reboot for the 9th time).

I am having the same issue with the sound echo on my iPhone 4S. It seems OK when I talk on the phone, but all the alert sounds do it. It did not happen with the first update to ios 7, just after I updated last night to ios 7.0.2. If anyone figures out a solution, I would love to know. The echo is irritating. Thanks!

I have just updated to itunes 11 and when I plugged in my ipod classic it locked up. When I tried again it said my ipod was corrupt and advised I reset it. I reluctantly did this as I lost all my music and now itunes just locks up when I plug in my ipod.
Not if you first do a sync and have iTunes make a backup. However, if your only copy of the iTunes data is in the Touch, then you need to first copy the data to a new iTunes Library using third-party software such as Phone To Mac.
