Just updated to LR 5.5 and get unexpected end of file occurred message.

I just updated to LR 5.5. Today I tried to import 15 files from my CF card. I get this "unexpected end of file occurred" message and the preview turns colors and is all corrupted. I know there is nothing wrong with my disks, I checked. The card seems to be fine. Can adobe tell what has happened here?

This is a pretty good indication of hardware problems. You need to determine if the problem is the card-reader (or USB cable), the camera card itself, the hard disk or even memory.
