Just upgraded and now a keyboard is appearing on an app and I don't want it
If the keyboard isn't supposed to show in the app then it's possible that the developers need to make a change for iOS 8.
You could try closing the app via the iPad's taskbar and see if that makes any difference.
If not then you could try deleting the app and redownloading it and see if that fixes it - though if you've made in-app purchases within it you may want to check if they are re-downloadable.

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

I am trying to get photos off of my airport time capsule back up onto my new macbook pro. I followed the above instructions and after I choose the library I want to upgrade and hit continue it wants to open my iPhoto to convert, when I click yes it just gives me the original message and sends me back to this page. Am I missing something?
Is your Time Capsule being used for your TimeMachine back up? Or is it simply being used as an external hard drive?

If your restored from a backup and the apps that are missing on the device show "Open" in the App Store, then they are located on other pages on your iPhone or are in folders. Also, with the iOS 7 update most developers have changed icon badging. This can cause some applications to be difficult to find.

I have the i phone 3G version 3.1.3. I am currently upgrading to the i phone 4 GS and want to transfer all data from old phone!
Unfortunatly my 3G will not sync to i tunes :( and I don't want to lose all my photos etc!

I recently upgraded to Yosemite 10.10.2 and Aperture 2.1.4 will no longer open. I cannot access my photos and I don't want to pay for latest version of Aperture since this application is no longer going to be supported. How can I get my pictures?
If you want just the originals, then you can go into the Aperture library (right click on it and do "show package contents"). Inside is a directory called "Masters" and you can find the original files in a bunch of subfolders.
But... you'll lose all adjustments, keywords, and other information, and just have the files as they were imported originally from the cameras.
Easiest is probably to buy Aperture and update everything, and then migrate to the Photos application down the road if that's what you want. Aperture 3.0 came out in 2010 (five years ago!) so it's not like you've upgraded in a while -

My question is about all the little tabs shown at the top of that page -- put there by Verizon -- which I do not want! Before Verizon mucked with my computer only 1 tab showed up there when I opened Firefox: my start page. Now all kinds of tabs to Verizon pages show up there automatically. I want them banished!

In updating my iphone 5 for the new software ios6. An error occurred and now is asking me to restore settings. But I don't want torestore setting causing not all of my recent data has been synced and I don't want to lose my data. How can I undo this since i did not hit restore settings, yet i can't do any other move without restoring at this point. Any ideas?
You phone is in recovery mode. Your data is already gone.
Why you would attempt a software upgrade without backing up all your data first is beyond me, but to each his own.

Any advice is welcome..Well I would recommend you do have an off internal hard drive backup of all your files before wiping any duplicates off the internal. Once you are certain you have an off internal hard drive backup of all essential files, then use Disk Utility to erase the other partitions.

How do I get out of recovery mode, that my ipod touch suddenly went into, after updating last night? It does not recognize my ipod anymore and I don't want to restore it back to factory conditions. No. You have to restore. To allow the restore try the following:
- A reset.
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Manually placing the iPod in Recovery Mode
- Placing the iPod in DFU mode.

- If you can't turn the iPod off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for at least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
