The CheckPlaces extension can restore favicons. It is also great for checking bookmarks to ensure that they are still valid.

I installed Leopard 10.5.6 and then it upgraded to 10.5.8, when I installed it I had the old info saved to a "previous systems" folder, where most of my artwork, etc. were saved, I have a one terabyte Lacie backup that unfortunately did not work as it was intended...it saved the new info and not the old. I did look into the system preferences folder and found the classic file, of course it wouldn't launch...but I have the old G 5 startup discs and will try to do it as you stated. I will try also to move it out of the previous folders file to my hard drive and see how that works.

Think you need to send a Image file named ("abc.gif")
now develop a server using ServerSocket and connect it in local IP and any PORT
For example i think ur server is connected in "localhost" and 9000 port.
Now make ur server educated using some commands.
For example:

you can view the SQL from within the discoverer menu:
in desktop: View-> SQL Inspector
in Plus: Tools-> Show SQL
The SQL in the DB tables is encrypted so it's a problem getting it from there.
You can export the workbook into SQL but it is not working for every worksheet (subquery, inline pivot tables...)
you can create a batch file to export them all using the output of this script:

My specific task is to bring forward the "Swatches" window. I want to initiate this from my plugin code (C++). However, I may want to execute other menu items in the future, so understanding the simplest, most straightforward general mechanism would be great.
I've pieced together a sequence that could work using the Menu and Interface suites, but it seems more complicated than it should be and requires knowledge of the localized name of the menu item (incomplete and uncompiled sample code below). Is there a better way to do this?

That's a clever solution to a problem I'd never considered (but can see how others might need it) I can't think of a better way to invoke it though than what you're doing except maybe with some minor improvements. If you know the menu group, you can use AIMenuSuite::GetMenuGroupRange() to jump to that group in the overall list. Also, since menuitems seem extremely unlikely to change, you can probably cache the handle.
Beyond that, the usual suggestion I'd make it is to at least explore actions. Try recording an action and see if it even picks up when you display the Swatches panel. I'm guessing it doesn't record stuff like that, but who knows?

Is there any way to get the phone from taking over...

Whenever I start my Avalon, the phone says that it is "Starting Driving Mode for You", and then starts playing music. It changes whatever channel I have on, and will even start up Audio if I have it shut off.
This is really a pain. Is there any way, short of killing the bluetooth pairing, to tell the phone to leave my radio alone?

For which specific phone model is this? If this is for a Lumia WP8, are you using the built-in 'driving mode' app under Settings, or a downloaded car mode app from the Store? Has the phone been paired with other Bluetooth devices aside from your Avalon carkit, like car speakers or stereos? Is your phone's software updated when checked under Settings > Phone update?

I have just upgraded my 2 apple computers to OX Lion and my macbook pro is having ip address issues. I have manually changed the ip address, renewed lease which works but everytime I switch on it does not connect to wi fi until I edit the ip address.

I recently upgraded to OX Lion and have an ipod, ipad, iphone and other apple mac computer on the network besides my macbook pro.
Since the upgrade I am having issues with my ip address. I have edited this number under renew lease, taken it to a manual edit and on any of these occassions found an address which allows the computer to go on wi fi.
However everytime I use my computer it starts off without wi fi and I have to manually go back to ip address and either adjust to manual or renew lease.
Any ideas?

Did you backup your iPhone to iTunes?
You can restore your iPhone from a backup.
If there are multiple backup devices, look for your backup and restore yoyr iPhone from that backup.
