Just upgraded to FF 5.0... NOW, pressing the mouse wheel turns the current tab into the last tab that I copied. Never did this b4? Can find no settings to change this behavior..
I have TabMixPlus and All-In-One Gestures 0.22.1 installed... have not changed any settings in them, checked to see if there was a setting to change (no), and find that the only way to keep this from happening is to restart FF 5.0. If I do NOT copy a link, then this issue does not exist. AFTER I copy a link and paste it into a new tab, Facebook, etc., then it is in memory and gets pasted with a mouse-wheel click.

That way all of your songs would be matched with the master song on the iTunes servers independently of iTunes on your Mac or PC...

If you want to stop sending reports to Apple and developers when apps crash, then go to System Preferences, click on Security & Privacy and click on Privacy. You will then see on the left side of the window an section for Diagnostics & Usage with the option to turn off sending crash data to app developers. I also have had FF close and reopen with the little pop-up about restoring or starting a new session.
I have been using FF since v1, and never have I experienced this issue.
I do not know what other information to provide, but if anyone is willing to help, I will provide any necessary details.Having disabled hardware acceleration (Tools>Options>Advanced>Browsing), I have not had a crash although it has only been two days.
Hopefully this fixes it and it will work for the others who are having the problem. -
I just upgraded to FF7 & now when I open it none of my history or cookies are saved. I have checked in options that Firefox will remember my history and all relevant settings but it is not doing it. Is there a problem with FF7?

Upgraded IPad to to 8.3, now auto fill is not working. I have checked, rechecked "my info", "saved passwords", etc. to no avail. Is this bug in 8.3. Never did this until I upgraded. Wife is not happy I upgraded!
Auto fill works for me in iOS 8.3.
Try the standard troubleshooting steps in this order:
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10-15 seconds). No data will be lost.
Restore: Connect your device to iTunes on your computer, backup, and then select Restore to Factory.

"default dialog button" (where do you find this?)
"mouse middle-click button" (I have a wheel)
"Global default" I don't know what that is, so, apparently, it doesn't apply to me.
"IntelliMouse" I don't have this either, just an old, dumb "Dell mouse" ;-)
"dialog box" is that what I'm hoping the cursor will be moved to? If so, how do I get it to move there on it's own? What's the purpose of "Snap to" if I have to move the cursor there myself? -
Just upgraded my iPad to IOS5 and when the download was completed, a window said that there was an error and it could not restore. Now I have a black screen with the Apple logo and the circle lines. None of the buttons respond. Help, please!!
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Maybe this will let the iPad reboot and then you may need to restore again but see if this helps to start the iPad first.

V5 gives me too many issues to deal with - I just need a relatively simple browser (and I guess I'm not the only 1 out there that feels like this). -

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

Apple Support, I have just purchased 3 movies 2 from my account and 1 from my wifes account and both systems are stating that it will take 2 days to download. I have a FIOS 150 megabit per second up and 150 megabit per second down busiuness class fiber service to my location. I have tested downloading 10Gbyte files from two other locations and both work fine. I additionally went out and have tested doing speed tests (http://www.speedtest.net/) from over 10 other locations all over the US and all are over 75 magabits per second download speeds with a few hitting 100 and 125 megabit per second speeds. What is wrong with your servers or your internet connection????

I have additionally tried to download them with my Apple TV and two different PCs all wired on Gigabit Ethernet with jumbo frames enabled. I have tried differnet DNS servers also. I can upload and download files to my office 50G in less than 1 hour. I have also download movies from 2 other movie sites without any problems. -

I just upgraded to Safari 5.1; now none of my mice will work correctly on flash intensive websites (Evony); have reinstalled the latest version of flash, have emptied caches, have reset the first 7 items in the reset list, dumped preferences and restarted. Nothing works. And, to boot, 1Password no longer works. How can in reinstall the former version of Safari that I was not quite so happy with but at least things worked?
I am now going to have to use Firefox for the majority of my Internet time. PLEASE, can someone help me?Ok, I kept on looking and back in 2009, a fellow had a similar problem with his iPod. He went to network settings., reset network settings to factory defaults, just like the apple guy told him... and it didn't fix it or so he thought....so he deleted an app from his phone that he had purchased to force it to place it back on when he used iTunes to resink his iSink or whatever. Anyhow his app then worked! He clicked on each of his other apps and Voila!! they all started working again. I did the above and it worked for me.
Who knows which step fixed it ... the reset of the network settings or the deletion of a single app to force the re-sync from iTunes. Guess it doesn't really matter...
I sure hope this helps someone out there with a similar problem and maybe they won't have to waste as much time on it as I did! -
I just upgraded to Snow Leopard then Lion and the computer shut down after installation.
Now when it starts up it gets as far as the apple icon and then shuts down again
whenever I turn it on it loads that far and then closes.
HELP!Restore your bootable backup/clone or Time Machine backup of Snow Leopard, launch Disk Utility from the install disc, repair the boot volume, and reinstall Lion.

Reinstalling Lion Without the Installer
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alterhatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion: Select Reinstall Lion and click on the Continue button.
Note: You can also re-download the Lion installer by opening the App Store application. Hold down the OPTION key and click on the Purchases icon in the toolbar. You should now see an active Install button to the right of your Lion purchase entry. There are situations in which this will not work. For example, if you are already booted into the Lion you originally purchased with your Apple ID or if an instance of the Lion installer is located anywhere on your computer.
