Just upgraded...why can't I see the information section on the left hand side anymore in iphoto '11? I used it all the time.
I've just upgraded from iphoto '08 to iphoto '11 and I'm really missing the information pane on the bottom left hand side (under where events, album, libraries etc are). I used to use this all the time when importing photos to sort them into Events and now I can't seem to get it back. Does it not exist in the new iphoto? Thanks, Hellen
That info section is a drawer on the right hand side of the iPhoto window. Click on the Info button at the lower right corner:

I can't sync my iTunes library from my iPhone 5c onto my macbook pro after it wiped without deleting all the songs I have on my phone now. Is there any way around this as it is saying I need to clear all songs from my old iTunes library to connect it to a new one?

one set which photos should be synced with the ios device in itunes under the photo tab there one can choose which iphoto things one wish to sync -
Why can't I see presenter information
In edit presenter information I can do just that :

However when the slide show runs all I see is the slides themselves no presenter into. Problem? or am I doing something wrong?

To get separate displays for the presenter and audience, you need to first turn off mirroring in the OS X Display Preferences. Once this is done, and you select Presenter Display in the Keynote Preferences, you should be able to see the presenter display on one of the monitors.

I have created a fillable form using Adobe Acrobat Pro that contains several data fields with some feeding data to a barcode in the document. I have a "button" set up to save and send the completed form one it is completed. Some of the user are having troubles filling out the form as they are using various programs to do such as iBook, Adobe Reader, etc.... Sometimes the information is not transferred to the barcode and sometimes the "submittal button" doesn't function properly.
Please provide a solution or give me a list of the programs that must be used to properly open and fill out the form.
Greatly appreciated.Best option is to use Adobe Reader (or Acrobat, of course) on a desktop computer (ie, not on a mobile device). Any other configuration is likely to be problematic.

There is a little box on the toolbar that was next to the http bar and the "back" bar. It is now over on the far right side. Have no idea how it got there, but I would like it back on the left

Be sure nothing is on top of the Mac Mini. BT and Wi-Fi antennas are just beyond the top. If something is onto the Mac Mini, wireless job will not be OK.

If you don't have a domain name, your host should supply one for free. If you do have one, you need to contact yout domain registrar to forward it to the new location of your website files. -
i am trying to use iringtones on itunes but it isnt appearing on the left hand side of the toolbar, how do i get it to work?
To get Ringtones to appear under Library on the left-hand side of iTunes, go into Edit > Preferences and on the General tab make sure that Ringtones is ticked.

The Purchased section under Store on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes will only show the purchases that you made on that computer - if they were purchased on a previous computer then (if you've copied them over onto that computer and added them to iTunes or re-downloaded them from the store on it) they should still show in your library, but won't be under the purchased section.

Why can´t I see contacts and calendar events already registered in my iPhone, in my Mac Pro ? I already actualize LION OSX and selected these items in the adjustments menu of the icloud. I could do it just once, after I installed Lion OSX, but up to the moment it does not updates.
Assuming you activated iCloud, try going to Settings>iCloud and make sure Calendars and Contacts are set to ON.

I have downloaded and installed Photoshop Elements 11 on my new Macbook Pro. Why can't I see my scanner (Epson Perfection 3200 Photo) from the File>Import menu?
There was no driver update available (it said my driver was up to date), so I just deleted the scanner and restarted the computer. when it came up, the scanner had already been added again. With great anticipation I tried to import from Photoshop...but no luck (scanner was not visible). I finally ended up calling Epson (had great difficulty in locating a number for support) and they finally told me there is no driver update for OS X 10.10 and I should as a work around use "Image Capture" application. I tried it, and it works quite well.

I imported 635 images into an iPhoto album so that I can share them via a photo-stream. However, iPhoto says there are only 600. When I try to add the missing images it says they are already there. Why can i not see these images in iPhoto?
Generally I would not use Facebook for sharing any photos, it compresses the photos substantially, and when you have shadows and dark colours you get visible "bands" where there should be subtle gradients, ie at sunsets and sunrises.
It sounds like you are using two methods to upload to Facebook:
1. Sharing from within Aperture, which basically syncs Facebook with your Aperture album, so any changes made at either end gets synced, hence the deletions from Albums, although the original file should still be in your library, just removed rom the album. It is like a playlist in iTunes.
2. Exporting pics and uploading to Facebook from the browser.
I am not sure how method 1 gets compressed, but I know that uploading hi-res jpegs to Facebook using method 2 results in poor quality images.
I wouldn't even bother comparing option 1 or 2, and they will both be poor images once you view them on Facebook, as opposed to viewing uploaded images on proper image sharing / hosting sites.
Your problem is not with Aperture, it is using Facebook for showing your work.
If you export pics form Aperture at high res jpegs or TIFFs your images will be fine.
If you insist to use Facebook as your way to share your work, then your workflow should be this:
1. Right click images you want to share.
2. Select Export version.
3. Export as 100% size and ensure the export settings are set at 100% quality.
4. Upload this pic into Facebook.
This will get you the best image size and resolution on Facebook.

No, that just shows the carrier. I am looking for the setting>general>carrier tab from where you can select the carrier you want to connect to either automatically or manually. The previous iPhone 5 had it, Apple exchanged the set as it had a hardware problem and it's missing from the new set. Want to get it back

Just imported a CD of rare folk music that a friend gave me and want to edit the title, album name, etc like I used to.
In iTunes under "View" the column Browser options are greyed out - not available.
Seems that this is the view where editing is possible.
What can I do to bring back column browser?

Select Songs (not Artists or Albums) at top and you can use the Column browser.
