Just wanna burn a CD from I-Tunes 7.0 I never had problems before

Thanks to any and all who take time to respond to this lame question. I'm really frustrated. I've been burning my own CDs from I-Tunes playlists for years. However, since upgrading to 7.0, whenever I try and burn a CD I get an I-Tunes error that 'This is not a blank CD'. I know these CDs ARE blank. I've tried, like, 10 of them. I even opened a brand new package of blank discs and still get the same error. What's changed about the new version of I-Tunes? What am I doing wrong? I miss the old spinning 'nuclear' burn indicator. I have no idea what's going on now.

I am having same problem, and in reading various posts so is everyone else. I am pulling my hair out over this one! Also I can't seem to download my Itunes to a CD to play in my car. It won't let me burn music I have PURCHASED through Itunes. At this point I am glad I did not buy the newest Ipod yesterday. hate to shell out $400.00 bucks for something that really doesn't do what you want it to.

I had the same problem. I doubt it is the firewall software on your cpu but rather then one on the router itself. On your linksys control panel, go to applications and on the port list enter 3689 to 3689, enter the ip address for your appletv (you can get it from the apple tv or from the DHCP client list under the status tab on the router). Click enable then update. Or, you can simply disable the firewall on the security tab of the router but I would not recommend this. Even after updating, I had to unplug the apple tv to reboot it and then it worked fine.

What support? All I get is an endless circle of running around. Things worked fine until recently, apperently real people to talk to don't exist here, just a never ending series of links that lead nowhere. It seems many others have had this same problem with Itunes, but what is the salution?

Choose country, and then at the bottom of the list on the left there should be an option 'Contact Support' (via expresslane).
It's only users here on this forum - unfortunately Apple don't seem to have a simple phone number and you have to get support via email or occasionally a live chat option.

Problems moving epub book from library to nook; I have Microsoft version 7; I've never had problem before. I have Adobe version 2 and version 4 installed.

Each time I've tried to move epub book to nook, I get an error from Adobe that it can't be copied? I don't know what to do. I had Nook help on the phone but after 1/2 hour of trying the tech told me to get in touch with Adobe. Please help. Thanks

Using my new G5 I have the same problem, which I did not know using my old G4 with an external LaCie burner. The CD-Changer in my car is not able to read audio-cds, also my cd-player in my home hifi-system. The only way to play these audio-cds is (strange...) to put them directly in the main tuner of my car (usually used for the navigation cd), not using the Changer.
Maybe the problem really depends on the quality of the CD-Rs. I have used CD-Rs from Sony (it´s a brand, I think?) and will try Verbatim.

Call NetFlix first to find out if you really have a billing problem. That email sounds too much like a phishing attempt.

I experienced same problem tonight and called Verizon technical support and they walked me through the settings on iPad. Took about 5 minutes. Basically it involved changing incoming.verizon.net to pop.verizon.net and changing outgoing.verizon.net to smtp.verizon.net. But it's worth the call to ensure other settings are OK. Evidently, change at Verizon was effective today!

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

As a test, shut down (power off) your computer and disconnect all USB devices including hub (except for standard keyboard and mouse if normally used). If your computer is a laptop, connect its power adapter (so that it's not running on battery power). Do this to reset the shuffle

Start up the computer, run iTunes, and connect the shuffle to a direct USB port on the computer. Does this problem recur when the shuffle is the only USB device?
If it does (as another test), select the shuffle in iTunes, so that its Settings screen is showing. Check the box for Enable disk use, and Apply. Does that make any difference regarding this problem?

Please can anyone help me?! When I start i tunes my computer says "The i tunes service for importing and burning cd's and dvd's has not been started. Please restart the service to enable burning and importing" I have searched and searched to see how to do this and even uninstalled and re-installed i tunes, but I still get the same message. When you reinstalled iTUnes, did you have your antivirus and security programs disabled? I purchased a movie from I-tunes. Why won't it copy to my I pod? I receive a message "Smoke Signals was not copied to Ipod because it cannot be played on this ipod". All other movies purchased from I-tunes have been copied and no problem playing.

You can find the specifications for iPad playback compatibility on the iPad Tech Specs web page of the Apple site. If using HandBrake, it best to use one of the included presets from the latest set preset updates. If you change these settings, there is always the possibility you may create problems, For instance, one person has already reported that using audio data rates above the recommended 160 Kbps limit will indeed cause problems. The iPad will play movies made using any of the Apple device presets. Since I also have the TV unit, I normally use that preset so as to get double use out of the same iTunes managed file. Having a passive secondary AC3 5.1 audio track does not cause any problems. In addition, the iPad will also support a text chapter track and at least one alternative AAC language track. (I.e., have not tried to test anything greater.) Have not tested any custom podcast files containing layering effects which have not been "flattened" either as this is not normally a part of my work flow. In short, there are a number of user settings in HandBrake that may create playback problems for different devices and that is why I would normally caution casual users to stick with one of the Apple device presets since these are tied to the specific profiles accepted by each device. If you are using custom settings and the file will not play, please post a sample snippet in order for me to see if I can locate a specific problem.
