I just want to get factory setting after major problem I faced and installing windows 8.1 Pro. N
I can't install more original drives & software so I prefer reset the notebook and restore the original windows 8 with all original programs.

HP supports its unit even it's out of warranty, if it's still within the service life.
Please provide your unit Serial Number and contact HP service center, and HP Call agent will help you to order the right recovery media with a reasonable charge.

Neither option is a good idea. What exactly are you trying to create?

This is ridiculously complicated.
I was given an iphone 5s from a close friend recently.
He obtained this phone from his mother who just passed away a few months ago.
We are both not previous apple users and know nearly nothing about any of their products, first off.
So he gave me the phone which turned on and the previous AT&T service had been canceled to, I took it to an AT&T store to have it activated. No mentions of any locks or restrictions, obviously the phone is not stolen and it hasn't been reported so, they activated it and I chose not to have my previous phones content except my sim card contacts because the employee said it would take over an hour but I could do it myself later.
So my phone is now activated and my service and phone number is working. Me never owning an iphone before went straight to their help page to learn everything i needed to know.
First thing it tells me to do is create an apple id and sign in to icloud. But it asks for the previous owners account info to do so.
My friend and I have tried ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING possible to obtain this info on our own and through suggestions from Apple.
We have both contacted Apple and done everything they have asked and basically have ended with Apple saying they have "no legal obligation to disable the account" and to "try contacting your mobile carrier"
So figured it wouldn't hurt to start here and see what I get before I do attempt to call AT&T since I am really tired of talking to rude and unhelpful people and I don't really see it coming to a better conclusion anyway. Please help I would just like to have full access to my phone and I am also concerned about losing what little access I have now.

In the middle of restoring my iphone 3Gs in itunes, some kind of error occurred and now my iPhone is stuck on just the factory setting of "connect to itunes" screen. Now my computer will not recognize the usb port. I tried other computers. What can i do?

Trying to install iCloud on the Pro with a non-setup Mobil Me. Just want to set up iCloud if icould. :)

I have searched everywhere and done everything that I know to get iCloud setup on our machines. I have upgraded everything. The only thing I haven't done is been able to locate iOS5. My Pro is less than a year old and came with Mobil Me. I never setup an account. I have no idea why it will not let me setup an account or how to get rid of the Mobil Me.

If the software in your signature is correct and you are running Snow Leopard, 10.6.8, then you do not have the option to use iCloud. iCloud is only available via Lion (10.7.x).

i have problem with the software , my sound sometimes just turn mute and back again after few minutes. when i recieve phone call phone ring like no problem at all, but when i open musics i can play song, no tool bar volume below the play button. message and all notification went mute just vibrate.

No, restoring the phone will install the latest iOS version.
If you go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings, the phone will revert to its fresh out of the box state, but iOS will not be reloaded - you'll still have iOS 6. See if the problem is fixed, and if it is, load your data back manually.

The message that I receive says that I would have to remove my Apple ID as it will not let me log in with that I'd even though I am the original owner, I have tried everything on find my iPhone as well, even there my Apple ID not showing on the devise.
If anyone has had a similar experience could you please advise me on what to do,

You must have the credentials that were used to turn on Find my iPhone on the device. Without them, you can not get past the activation lock.

Boot camp does not give me the option to make a partition, instead it just gives me the options to download windows support software, install windows 7, etc. I do not want any of these, I want to set aside the space on my hard drive!

Hello, I wish to install Linux Ubuntu on my macbook pro by using boot camp to set aside space. Whenever I load the Boot Camp Assistant application out of the utilities folder in applications, it only gives me the options to download windows support software and install windows 7. I do not want this, I just want to be able to slide that little bar to set aside the space on my hard drive that i can use for Linux. I tried just downloading the windows support software but my internet is immensely slow and it has been an hour or so since it started and it's not even half way done. When this download is finished will i get the option to partition or will i just be faced with those same options?
I am on a 13" macbook pro, with apple OS X snow leopard version 10.7.2
A lot of the data on this macbook was transferred over from my old macbook i had.
Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

Well thank you for your honesty. Apple requires you have to have a Mac to develop iPhone apps, ergo my foray into OS-Xland. No way around it that one except for running OSX in a VM, which would have probably saved me some quid, true enough.
BUT for those interested parties: VirtualBox has a startup script in /Library/StartupItems/VirtualBox that will prevent OSX from fully booting on the initial (and required) rEFIt boot cycle. Once I temporarily moved that out of the StartupItems rEFIt went in as expected.
FYI, the openSUSE desktop running native is a little peppier than OSX native which was a nice surprise. Now if the Mac just had more open source software we would have a deal. (:

You need to look for your itunes library under Computers and select it, then music.
Music column is for web based content not local content, just to confuse everyone.

iTunes will need to be set up on your computer however you can set up a new Apple ID to use for your iPhone. Really all you need to do is Assign a new Apple ID to your iCloud account.

After you do that, on the device you want to assign a new iCloud account go: Settings > iCloud > Delete Account and then sign in with the new Apple ID.
NOTE: This does not effect iTunes, all of your devices can continue to use one shared iTunes account under your original Apple ID for downloading apps and backups. This simply gives iCloud a place to sync the individual devices information and will stop iCloud form merging all the information, such as contacts, with all of your devices.

I figure that either of those options will result in losing all SMS and data created since the last backup. Not a major loss, but ** annoying when nothing has changed and the time it will take to restore.
When was the last time you synced your iPhone with iTunes since the backup is updated as the first step during the sync process?
Is there anyway to recover this WITHOUT having to do a full restore or set up as new?
In a word, no.
If I do restore or set up as new, how do I know it's not going to do the same thing tomorrow (like a few other forums threads I've read indicate might happen)?
There is no way to know for certain but I've never experienced the same in the first place. I venture to say having to do this is the exception rather than the rule.

- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.

- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it unless you had iOS 7 on the device. With iOS 7, one has to enter the Apple ID and password to restore the device.
