Just wanted to say "Wow" - the new "Coffee Corner" is a great idea.
Apart from solving certain difficult "policy" problems so well, the new "Coffee Corner" is living proof of the idea that SAP is a great company as well as a successful and rich company.
To be a great company, a corporation must tolerate intense scrutiny from its "loyal opposition". We all know SAP gets intense scrutiny from the "disloyal opposition" (if all the rumors about Oracle staff with SDN accounts are true).
But intense scrutiny from the "loyal opposition" is in some respects much more difficult for a company to endure and deal with, because "insiders" know the exact locations of a lot of the closets that have the nastiest skeletons in them. (I don't mean "insiders" as in SAP staff, but external "insiders" who work with SAP products every day and therefore know how they can still be improved, even when quite mature.)
I hope that many many SDNers use the "Coffee Corner" because it could become a "seedling nursery" for many little plants that might someday become beautiful trees in the SAP landscape.
I'm not only talking about new "killer apps" here, although it's quite possible that some could develop out of scribbles on napkins at the Coffee Corner.
Nor am I just talking about new "approaches" that help to improve sales and use of the new technologies that SAP is currently marketing.
I'm also talking about "new approaches" that help to keep a small corner of SAP focussed on real IT and real business computation, so that SAP doesn't wind up sacrificing one kind of core competency for a newer kind.
Of course, I also agree with Mark Finnern (in his first post to the "Coffee Corner") that the "Corner" should be a casual and care-free place as well as "heavy" place for serious discussions.
But however SDNers choose to use it, they SHOULD use it.
And SDN management/adminsitration deserve all the congratulations and admiration they SHOULD get for setting it up.
Peace out.
For the record, I've been using Yahoo Music Engine (PlaysForSure software) and Creative Zen players since September, 2005, with great success. I rip my own CDs, have purchased downloads, and have over 000 subscription tracks transfered to my players. I have over 20 playlists I update. Some almost daily.
The Creative Zen Micro we had in September 2005 was stolen in November 2005. Replaced it with a Zen Microphoto. I just picked up a Zen Vision: M several weeks ago.
All of them work.
Here's the things I would recommend:
Go to the Creative Support site and download all of the other support software. Don't just download the firmware. The supporting software may have updates too. I had to do this with the Zen Micro because PlaysForSure was a firmware update I had to apply for myself back then.
Download the Windows Media Player 0http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...0/default.aspx
Try Yahoo Music Enginehttp://music.yahoo.com/musicengine/
Both are free. The subscription music services cost extra.

I just want to know when the new ipod touch 5th generation will come out
i just want to know when the new ipod touch 5th generation will come out
Apple has not announced any new iPod models. When they do, we'll all find out at the same time, I would guess, since the announcement will be prominent on every Apple-related web site and will probalby be posted in multiple threads in these forums.
Forum Tip: Since you're new here, you've probably not discovered the Search feature available on every Communities page, but next time, it might save you time (and everyone else from having to answer the same question multiple times) if you search a couple of ways for a topic, both in the relevant forums and in the Apple Knowledge Base before you post a question.

I just bought a new computer. Itunes only offers me the option of erase and sync, as I can only have it sync'd with one computer. I want to move my music to this computer from my ipod. Is this possible, or do I have to go back to my cds and upload everything from there? I just want to be able to move my music from my ipod to the new computer.
You need to transfer your iTunes Library from the old computer to the new one - then you can carry on syncing as normal. You can't move non-purchased music from an iPod to iTunes using iTunes. For purchased music, choose iTunes > File > Transfer purchases...

Wow, I just want to say that the Zen "PlaysForCrap" software suite is complete garbage
The Zen itself... I love it. But the software that came with the PlaysForSure firmware update is complete and total garbage. I have nothing but problems trying to rip my CD's to the player and my hard dri've. The software constantly freezes, it won't find CD's information. It locks up the player in docked mode and then I have to reset and wait while it "rebuilds the library." And forget about drag and drop file transfer functionallity. It does not creat the folder I dropped on the the Zen. I have no idea where my files are. Where's the file format converter? Where's the analyze music function? Don't tell me its in the Media Source software cause my Media Source won't recognize my player even with the plug-in.
The fact that you would release this software package to people who dropped two or three hundered bucks on a player is disgraceful and Creative should be ashamed. I sincerely hope you guys are going to update this software to something better than the turd it is now sometime in the near future.
Why something that's designed to be WINDOWS BASED works so poorly opposed to an APPLE PRODUCT is beyond me.For the record, I've been using Yahoo Music Engine (PlaysForSure software) and Creative Zen players since September, 2005, with great success. Just wanted to say Wow with LXDE
I just updated my Dell mini10 netbook's Arch install. I'm not sure which updated package made the difference, but WOW!
Before, Firefox, OpenOffice, and just about every other app had huge title bars and text in all of the menus, but after the update, EVERYTHING seems to be using smaller fonts.
Like I said, I'm not sure what fixed it, but it's definitely nicer.
Thank-you Arch team for all your hard work.http://goodbadandugly2.files.wordpress. … hamwow.jpg

Waiting for Tidbits and Elector to grace my post with there constant negativity and start a war of words as usual... since they love stirring the pot and angering the Windows Phone Community every time they reply to posts. I just can't believe they spend that much time here on the forums replying if they are not a paid Verizon employee or a paid basher from a competing platform.

Well I found nothing wrong in your post. So why even make a statement like the quote I included?
Once more I am a retired government employee. So I have the time to post. Or has my rights been taken away to voice an opinion?
Your posts was great you were not whining about your rights to file complaints to the FCC or FTC etc. One of the best I have read.
And I am not trying to sway you from your phone choice. If you looked at my avitar it shows apple iphones. But I use and have used androids and not Windows phones.
However your numbers of windows phone users all leaving over the issue is miniscule in the number of users of Android and iOS devices.
I have written many times I wish all the devices get updated like iOS devices do. But at present that is not happening
No bashing, no adversarial post just a little common sense is all I use.
And again your post was great.
Good Luck -
I just updated my iPad to the new ios and now it won't let me use iCloud. I have been in my settings and it says I need to agree to the new t&c's but when I click to do it my device freezes. Any Idea what I can do as I can't download new app either
Sorry. There's nothing anyone can do. The current version of the facebook app will not run on 4.2.1. The iPhone 3G won't run anything higher than 4.2.1. You're stuck.
Maybe it's time to buy yourself a new iPod Touch. -
I just received my new Mac Mini and want to migrate files from my Time Machine. I assume the old OS is on Time machine and I don't want it to supersede the new Yosemite OS. Do I have to Do anything special?
Using Migrations Assistant will only move the data and other things over, it will not bring over a previous version of the Os since the 2014 model can run anything earlier than Yosemite.

Just want to say I have an iPhone 4s and only in this app, if I move the phone toward my face like I'm going to talk on the phone, Siri pops up. No idea what that's about. Other than that this all is absolutely splendid.
Sorry it has taken so long for someone to reply to you. What you want to do is go to Settings > General > Siri > Raise to Speak OFF.

I have just purchased a MB Air to replace my dead PC and want it to be the new backup point for my iphone. How do I tell Itunes that I want the MB to be the one and not the dead PC? Thanks
That's not how it works. Authorising is for music purchased from iTunes, not for music you've imported from CDsor elsewhere. Music purchased form other suppliers would also not be subject to this authorising procedure.
Do you still have the old computer? If so, you need to copy the iTunes Library from that to the new computer. For example, in Windows XP, I would copy the My Music folder (which contains the iTunes Library, my Amazon MP3 purchases and album artwork) and put that onto an external drive. Then move the drive to the new computer and copy the copied folder onto the new machine thereby replacing the new machine's My Music folder. Then tell iTunes to look at the imported Library.
Obviously, you need to take into account that you have Windows 7 (where I assume the folder names may be different), any other places on you old machine where songs are located and so on. -
I just want to say, if iPad mini had worked as an phone i would buy it on the spot!
