Just wirelessly connect printer.  now internet will not accept my password, session times out,

I have a brother printer that I just connected wirelessly to my airport.  It said it was connected.  But then I lost my internet connection and when I tried to connect it said my password was invalid.  Now I can only connect by ethernet and the printer only works through USB.  HELP!

Hey there kristiannie,
Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like your wireless printer isn’t able to join the Wi-Fi network or there’s an issue with your iMac connecting to it. Try running through the troubleshooting suggestions in this article:

Also, the article below will help you verify your printer is supported and that you have the latest software available for it.

I get wireless connection but my internet does not work on my ipad 2

    Some things to try first:
    1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
    2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
    3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
    4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
    5.  Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
        •    Launch Settings app
        •    Tap on Wi-Fi
        •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
        •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

i just updated my phone & now it will not let me go into any of my apps that were installed or purchased

Try rebooting the device by pressing and holding the on/off and home buttons simultaneously until the screen goes blank and you see the apple logo. It should take about 10-15 seconds to reboot.

  • Just upgraded Photoshop and now it will not launch

Just upgraded Photoshop and now it will not launch.

The rule of thumb I follow says to figure on 50 to 100 times the size of your largest file ever multiplied by the number of files you have open.  I have seen the scratch file exceed 300 GB once, an admittedly rare occurrence, but it often exceeds 200 GB when stitching large panoramas and the like.
As an example—and stressing that I'm aware that others have even more scratch space than I do—I keep two dedicated, physically separate hard drives as my primary and secondary Photoshop scratch disks and a lot of GB free on my boot drive for the OS.  I also have 16 GB of RAM installed.
Additionally, if you only have a single HD, i.e. your boot drive, you'd need it to be large enough to accommodate both the swap files of the OS as well as Photoshop's scratch.
The scratch often exceeds 300 GB when working with very large pano shot, for instance; and in one extreme case I've seen it grow to over 800 GB.

  • Had to reset, now my apple tv will not accept by password for my wireless system, what do I do?

Apple TV will not accept my password for my TV, had to restart, what do I do?

Power cycle the router and try again.
If the issue persists, temporarily turn off security on the router and connect.  Then turn security back on and connect, it should accept the password this time.

  • TS3297 Verification code: 64be7c1c-365512c6-f2c30dc43e ACCOUNT TO USE MY APPLE TV.   I HAVE A US EMAIL ACCOUNT AND A RELATED APPLE ID...NOW IT WILL NOT ACCEPT  MY PAYMENT....FRUSTRATED.

I am a Canadian trying to us my apple tv in my US home.  Had to get an American  apple ID but now it will not accept the Am itunes card code I purchased and then when I tried my credit card it refered me to itunes support....more forms to fill out.  Advise please.

Did you actually change your Apple ID or just the email address associated within the Apple ID?  I don't think you can actually change the Apple ID. That's why it is asking for the new password with the old ID.
Lime so many other sites, an account name, in this case your Apple ID, has a unique Login (the Apple ID) and a password.  The contact for that account (your new email address) is just associated with the account.
    Hope this helps.

Use iTunes on your computer.  With the iPad connected, sign into your Apple account and check for updates.
Doing this should straighten out the problem.

I just updated to XI, but it will not accept the serial number

    Hi there
If you have purchased an Acrobat XI upgrade you will be prompted to enter the Acrobat XI serial number first then the serial number for the prior version.
Which serial number isn't being accepted?  Please provide more details and send me a private message with both serial numbers so I can check further.
    Thanks

I had a similar problem, tried for days to find a fix no real help from TB.After going through a mass of comments finally found the problem solved.
At the request of Microsoft I had set up 2stage Verification of my Hotmail Account, this verification stopped my password from being accepted. If you go to Google 2-step verification they will issue with a 16 digit password that you only use once.
    Good luck,Barry

  • Ipad will not accept wifi password

My ipad will not connect to my home wifi internet,it will not accept the password which I have checked many times to make sure it is correct,
    can anyone help.

Hi Diavonex Thank you for your reply, Ive tried what you suggested but it hasnt made any difference, although the wireless connection complains my password is wrong, its possible ive put in the wrong email address but when the box to connect to wifi comes up on the ipad screen it no longer gives you the option to enter both email & password, only password, ive tried setting the ipad wireless network settings to factory default but it doesnt work the connection settings are still there & they have a padlock which im assuming means you can not delete them, do you know how I can either delete the wireless network settings & start again or when the ipad wants to connect to the wifi network how to bring up the box with the options to put in both email address & password.
