Justice Credit Card-Capital One

I'm in the process of closing this card.  Will make payment at the end of the month and have a zero balance and close it.  When it switched over to Capital One last month, pushed the luv button to see if I could get a CLI.  Was told to contact number listed in email sent.  Called number.  Spoke with CSR who stated that initiating request could possibly result in hard pull.  I have a Kohl's card, which is Cap 1 too,  and told the same thing, but never has resulted in HP.  Well this time it did.  Was given a HP on EQ and did not get the increase.  Sent email to EO office about how ridiculous it is to get an HP on a store card.  Spoke with someone from the office who said that could she not remove the HP, but could initiate a manual review for a CLI.  Told her why would I want that when it wasn't as if I was getting a bank card.  Discussed how this could discourage people from getting the card.  Just letting the forum know that this change over from Comenity is not turning out to be positive.

Yes.  It has the option on the website to request a CLI, so I pushed the button, and got a response that they would send a reply by email.  Then I got an email saying I needed to call in and from there it went downhill.  It is ridiculous because it' not like it's Nordstrom's or Neiman Marcus.  It's Justice for goodness sakes.  Kohl's does SP for CLI and it is Capital One, but not this card.  Anyway, it will be paid off and I'll be done with it.

  • Two credit cards aon one account

I want to pay with two different credit cards from one account. one by business and one private. How to do this?

    Yes you can.
Make the first payment  where it indiactes how much you wish to pay, enter in the amount.
You might have to wait for the first pament to be processed and applied (about and hour) before you enter the second payment.
I use my debit card to pay my half of the phone bill, and then my GF's card to pay the second half of my family plan.
    Hope this helps.

  • Two saved credit cards for one Apple ID

Amazon allows me to quickly switch between my business credit card and my personal credit card (and related shipping destination).  For some odd reason, Apple makes me have to completely delete and re-enter all my credit card information if I want to buy something for work v. home.  Is there any good explanation for this?  Thanks.
    <Edited by Host>

I have precisely the same challenge. Apple could make it much easier to switch between cards for the one account. I have to retype the details and re-veirfy. This is not better.
Apple chooses to do it this way but they're wrong!

  • With iOS 8's family sharing, will family members be able to share apps that they previously purchased with different credit cards with one another for free (given that they will all use the same credit card once iOS 8 comes out)?

Question 1: In my family of 4, we currently have different Apple ID's and we all use different credit cards to purchase our apps and media. When iOS 8 is released, if we agree to share the same credit card, will we be able to access apps that a family member purchased with their own credit card prior to iOS 8's release? To clarify, under iOS 7, Member 1 has purchased Apps A and B with his credit card. Under iOS 8, if Members 1, 2, 3, 4 decide to use Member 4's credit card, will Members 2, 3, 4 be able to access Apps A and B?
Question 2: If we all decide to use the same credit card now, once iOS 8 is released, will family members have access to the apps/media purchased by the fourth family member?

You can read everything that is known about ios 8 on Apples website.
There is no way for anyone to know any more than that.

  • TODAY Capital One is allowing you to COMBINE CL's!!!

I just logged into my Cap1 account and clicked the services tab. Low and behold there's a link that says: Request Account Combination!!!The BIG catch is that your 1) account must be open for at least 6 months 2) 1 card must have a $0 balance and NO pending transactions. Go check it out, it will show on your screen which cards are eligible to be combined!!! BEST news ever from Capital One!!!

  • Family sharing trying create new id for my kids but keep asking me to add credit card when i already have one?

HOw i make id for my kids after being ask to add credit card and ones on file

If you have an existing ID, & you don't want to use a credit card, you'll have to redeem an iTunes gift card. If you don't want to do that, you'll have to create a new ID by following the directions here, EXACTLY:

  • Maximum number of iTunes accounts associated with one credit card?

We have a 20 person sales force and will be updating their iPhones and iPads to iOS 5 at a meeting in February.  We want each sales rep to have their own iCloud account for backups and storage.  So, we created 20 new iTunes accounts for each of them using the same company credit card.  To avoid any problems when we do the rollout I wanted to find out what the maximum number of accounts that iTunes allows you to register with one credit card?
    Background Information
Currently, our sales force uses a company ID and password to download apps.  This allows us to keep the accounts and location settings restricted for security purposes in case a device is lost.  We have since created 20 new user accounts under one credit card for our sales force.  I did not do this, but worked closely with the individual who set them up.  They shared that iTunes only allowed three accounts to be created per day with the same credit card - I assume that's for security purposes.
In the end, all were able to be registered without a problem.  My concern is that when we update the devices, which will be over a period of 1-2 days, will there be a limitation to activating accounts under the same credit card, as there was when we created the accounts?  I'm doing the research now to avoid what could be a significant problem if not properly prepared for.
If there's another solution for this, please feel free to share.  Our objective is to remove the reliance on the company computer for syncing and give the sales force more freedom.  We will still be locking the location for security purposes in case the device is lost/stolen - the iTunes password will be shared between the company and sales rep.  They also won't need to ship the device back to our office if there's a problem, as they would be able to restore with iCloud.
    Thank you!

Thank you for the reply!  That is helpful to know.
My follow-up question is this: we somehow managed to add 20 people to one credit card within one month without any warnings.  Should we anticipate encountering a problem?
In the interim, someone in our office is going to try and log into iTunes separately with each of the 20 accounts and download an app to see if there are any problems.
    Thanks for the help.

You can only use one credit card to one Apple ID.

  • Can I have two iPads with two different credit cards linked to one iTunes account?

Can I have two iPads with two different credit cards linked to one iTunes account?

It is still not possible to have two credit cards with your iTunes store account. I've just had a discussion with an Apple representative who suggested I give feedback to Apple about this. The more we are, Apple might listen to us in the end.
    This is the link
    http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html
Please feel free to use or modify what I wrote there:
I’m surprised as are many other people who have the same issue (can see this in many forum threads) that Apple don’t give us the possibility to have at least 2 credit cards with one AppleID/account like most other vendors do (even much smaller than Apple). This certainly forces people to buy some stuff elsewhere that they otherwise would have purchased from Apple (for example books) or restrain from buying things they would have bought if they had a choice to use a second Credit Card.
Not having this option puts me in a precarious situation since it would not be OK to buy just anything with the Credit Card that is tied to my business (and in many cases like mine the business is only one person, the VAT No being the same as my social security No).
Sole traders need an option too.
    Greetings

The store cards and Credit One should all be paid to zero as soon as you can. These cards all have terrible interest rates, and they encourage you to buy things you might not really need. These can be kept in a sock drawer indefinitely, and only brought out if there is something you absolutely positively cannot do without, or there's a 50% price reduction bonus for using the card. The Credit One can be (should be) closed as soon as you can. When talking about "credit cards" always put the store cards and Credit One is a special place in your commentary, to make sure everyone knows you understand they are not real credit. The real credit cards, you only have three, for a total available credit limit of $2,500. These should be used for regular daily spend, groceries, gasoline, pharmacy, if you have room on the card. Because the available credit is so low, you likely will be getting near the credit limit on each. Be sure to pay the statement balance by the payment due date, and earlier if you are approaching the available $500 or $1,500 limit, depending on the card. The comment about letting only one card report, well, that is for times when you really want to groom your FICO score for some major application, not for every day. For typical months? these card limits are so low it is not much of an issue right now if you let balances report on them. You want to build credit. You do that by reporting balances on the cards you do have, using them, and getting credit limit increases on these three real credit cards. You should check on the Capital One website for your account, to request a Soft Pull Credit Limit Increase. There may or may not be one for this card. If there is, it will grant it immediately. If not, try again after 3 months. You should check at your Credit Union about getting a CLI on that card. If you have any sort of history (ideally you've been using the card and paying in full? It hasn't always been zero? Tell me it hasn't always been zero... please? ) then you may have enough history to get a credit limit increase. Same with the bank credit card. Hopefully it has not been at zero forever? Do you have any late payments of any kind in your history? You should consider applying for the Chase Freedom card. It has quarterly rotating categories of 5% cash back which includes things like groceries, gasoline and restaurants. It is one of the basic no annual fee cards that provides good rewards. If you have not yet, you should try to find your FICO credit score. One place is to pay for it here, to get an accurate reading. From that, you can get a good idea where you stand in your likely credit applications. Are you planning on any purchases such as a car or mortage in the future? Those plans should be considered as you look at your credit history and plan next steps in working with these cards and potentially applying for new credit cards. Finally, before applying for other cards, it's a good ideal to search and ask questions around here to get a better perspective on what is available, benefits and gotchas with any cards (like Credit One gotchas). Good luck!

  • 2-3 Day Notice Capital One

I have requested credit limit increases on both my Capital One cards.  One card has a CL of 10,000 and was opened 2/15  My other card I haven't asked for a CL increase for almost two years.
Credit with Capital One is good, no bad remarks.
What's your experience with the 2-3 day message in your documents?  Do they usually allow for a CL?

What's your experience with the 2-3 day message in your documents?  Do they usually allow for a CL?  As has been said, 2-3 days are denials.   As for your card opened in February, you may be too early.   The CLIs tend to work after 6 calendar months (might be eligible 1-2 days early).   As for the other card, you may want to check the reasons on this.   If you disagree and would like a manual consideration of the CLI, you would need to contact the EO.

  • Can I use family sharing without a credit card

I want to set up family sharing in iCloud between my account and my dad's since we have separate accounts. Problem is, one of them needs a credit card and my sister tends to make purchases from iTunes cards that weren't for her. Can I set up family sharing without using a credit card? I have a friend who used his parents credit card and one day, they got a $500 bill from iTunes on purchases they didn't make. The account was hacked somehow and the last thing my parents need is to have one of their cards hijacked again.

Apple suggests that in this case you add with a credit card then switch back: Start or join a family group using Family Sharing - Apple Support
"When you create an account for a child, you must use a credit card as the payment method as part of providing your parental consent. After you create the child's Apple ID, you can change your payment method if you choose."
Annoying, but presumably there are technical constraints that make this difficult. I hope they'll fix at some point but this at least means I can set it up. I don't use a credit card but I have one around that I can use to at least set up the accounts.
